Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "CHILDISH GAMBINO & KANYE WEST - SAY LESS (GILGA RADIO)"

Starting point is 00:00:03 Go rapper. To me, Kanye. To me, I know that's controversial. But I feel like we would not have any of the rappers we have now without it. Ladies and gentlemen, that was Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, spitting the absolute truth. When I tell you that Kanye West is one of the more impactful artists that we've ever had in the history, of artists, that is exactly the case.

Starting point is 00:00:38 And I'm glad Childish Gambino put a spotlight on that once again. Because everybody says that Kanye West is a genius when it comes to making music. Because, hey, when he gets to talking sometimes, you can't tell. You know what I'm saying? But when it comes to musical creation and the way he puts together the strings, the 808s, the high hats, the whole body of work as far as it, having cohesion in the sequencing. Kanye West is a genius in every sense of the word

Starting point is 00:01:10 when it comes to his music making ability. So for Childers Gambino to point that out is not surprising in the slightest, as he's also a very superior creator in himself. As for creatives, one of the things I differentiate from the good ones to the great is the ability to go to one.

Starting point is 00:01:33 stream of entertainment and create something phenomenal and go to another stream of entertainment and still be able to make something phenomenal because that means that you can compartmentalize things in your brain that leads you to create in that specific way at a level that people who only do that at is comparable not saying he's the greatest movie a TV show director ever I'm not saying he's the best music creator ever. I'm just saying they are both at a certain level to where his overall

Starting point is 00:02:14 artistry is past somebody who can only do one thing well, if that makes sense. So anyways, the reason why I'm covering Donald Glover, aka Challenger's Gambino, is simply for the fact that he previews some tracks on his radio show, which I still can't pronounce.

Starting point is 00:02:32 I don't know if it's Gilga. uh galga i don't know is g i lg a y'all g y'all can make fun to me later you know what i'm saying hey i can't i can't pronounce it i don't know what it is so uh the standouts was him and kit cuddy for the track warlords uh part one well it says p one so i'm just assuming part one even though there's no t anyways um uh child is gibino and conier west on the track say less and i don't know if these are fan titles or if these are the actual titles that he said throughout the radio show obviously i didn't listen to the whole radio show like i'm not going to be disrespectful but i don't know the last time i listened to radio just being completely honest so i saw this through social medias of course and the

Starting point is 00:03:21 standouts from that was the kid cuddy track and the conier west track this specific segment is focusing on the conier west track because i previously just uh covered the kid cuddy and childish track warlords. But anyways, enough of that. Glover, which I also said in my last segment, if you want to look that up, Kid Cuddy, analytic dreams, and it should pop up, usually it does, but Kid Cuddy, Childers, can be no analytic dreams, and it should pop up. Starting point is 00:04:17 i signed up for right here whenever the video version comes out you'll see but basically said thanks for subscribing because guess what i want to be nosy am i going to purchase it probably not but am I going to be notified one of the um am i going to be one of the first glover fans and get notified on whatever the announcement is of course so call me a fake fan but hey i'm nosy you know at this point it's my job to know certain stuff when it comes to the top of the top and and i want to know what he's planning because obviously he says a new world tour so i would assume it's a pre-registration link for upcoming tickets to wherever he's going that's what i would assume But you never know.

Starting point is 00:04:59 He has a movie coming, which is off of the second album that he's putting out Bandos Stone in the New World. Basically, that project is supposed to be doubling as a soundtrack for his upcoming movie. Let me say that again. That's supposed to be, that's doubling as a soundtrack for his upcoming movie. like i said creativity is on a completely another level when it comes to comparing him to the average uh creatives out here but you know at the end of day you got start somewhere right so you know never you know what they say comparisons the thief of joy so maybe you can be donald glover one day but hey you better start working now you know what's the kobe thing you better start working two to

Starting point is 00:05:50 three times a day so that 10 to 15 years uh from now people can't catch up because let me tell you that is currently where child is Gambino is at um what else so yeah two new albums a world tour coming up seems like Kanye west and kid candy will be featured on one of the projects i don't know which one um because obviously this was the radio show we're not going to spend too much time on it that's basically all the information i wanted to give uh to get out there and what i want to say is i want to end this off with this statement So Kanye West, the ability for Kanye West to make music is phenomenal. If he ever figures out how to use the AI voice technology, the world is over.

Starting point is 00:06:43 Let me tell you that right now. If Kanye West figured it out to the point where Drake did when he rapped as Tupac and he wrapped as Snoop Dog, just think if Kanye West gave a big bag to the best. the lyric is out there while also being able to lay down the vocals give him the stems of those vocals and he just changes it to his voice i know people going to kill me even given that idea i know y'all going to kill me but i ain't allowed to you what do we criticize conier west with currently his vocal inflection when he's rapping and his his lyricism is not at the level that it once was freddie gives Push your T, Royce to 5-9, any of those guys get in the booth, lay a verse down over a beat

Starting point is 00:07:35 just to make it sound like Kanye. Give it to Kanye, Kanye changes it, changes the voice to be his voice. I'm just saying, man, I feel like I should get paid for that, but you know, it's okay, you know, maybe Kanye West's thought of it, but at the end of day, he does think he's a god, so, you know what I mean? I don't even know if he's taking advice at this point, you know what I mean?
