Starting point is 00:00:00 Very interesting that the best of both worlds just collided as Victor Mandevo just put out an album, I believe it was titled To Tankaman. And then of course now, Chino Packis has an album out titled Christian. You're probably wondering, what is the correlation between the two? Well, Christian, the album, has Oscar May Adon on it as a feature for the track of Nocha, which is a remix. Now, of course, that's specifically with Chino, But then you realize Victor Mandevo's album to Tankamon, that artist in totality is under
Starting point is 00:00:37 Oscar Mayadone, which is very interesting as Rico Omerito Music LLC is an independent record label co-founded by Mexican music musician Oscar Mayadone. So I wonder, how does that work as far as you being under somebody? You're putting out an album. And of course he probably helped you put that album out and things of that nature. but then at the same time somebody like chino pack is dropping his album and the person that's over you is featuring on that album i wonder how that works in the politics of the music scene because from a bird's eye view i would think that would cause some issues if i'm making a project
Starting point is 00:01:15 somebody's over me that signed me right and i'm cultivating my project i'm about to put it out i do put it out and then a day after not only is somebody who's not on my label putting out an album and my same genre, but now the person who's over me who signed me is featuring on their project. I'm not saying that it's bad or is good. I'm just saying that it's very interesting. And ultimately, I will love to know the innuendoes of how that ended up working out. Because if I'm Victor Mandevil, obviously you can't say too much because Oscar Mado can just say, I could just drop you.
Starting point is 00:01:50 We could just do that. You know what I'm saying? But Oscar Miodon ultimately is playing an interesting game, helping his art is making that project. But then at the same weekend, literally the same. weekend they dropped at the same in the same span two days right you're on somebody else's who technically is competition as far as chino pack his album but to play devil's advocate the latin community does have a lot of cross-collabative efforts as far as uh victor mandevo has a lot of
Starting point is 00:02:17 superstars on his album along with oscar man don't is also on his album so he didn't just skip out on that one um chino packis has a lot of superstars on christian the album now currently diving deeper into. So now to see Oscar Madoan on a remix and then come to realize that he also has his own artists put out an album before in the same span as far as two days between the Chino-Packas album and the Victor Mandevo album. I just find it interesting. Two artists as prolific as a Victor-Mand-Dival as a Chino Pach is putting out a project around the same point. I think it's interesting because why not spread it out in the year of 2025? Like I think there's multiple weekends in the year.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Last time I checked, you know what I say? So to put out a project around the same time. I wonder if it's a strategic marketing ploy or if I just wonder if it just forgot about it. He forgot he gave a verse to somebody who may be competition to your artists that just put out their project. So with that being said, that's the main thing I wanted to get into and also to let you know that Oscar Madone is on Chino Pack's album. The track is titled a Noce. It's a remix. ultimately, Chino Pachis and Victor Mendevo, they definitely make it seem like Caritos Tumbados is in great hands
Starting point is 00:03:37 because, of course, Chino Pacchis doesn't want to make the same music as everybody else, so he's making it very unique. For example, one of the tracks, Chama, I want if I could pronounce this, Chimakio, Chama Kido, I think this is it, the album opener was written what has been written since 2022 so you already know whenever i hear that whenever i hear an artist held on to a track from years ago to put it out the right time it makes me feel like that artist actually took some time into cultivating his own sound for a project he didn't just listen to the first five beats and he was like okay that's the first five tracks of the album he actually cultivated this over time so um chino pack is victor mandevo definitely let you know that the Latin community is definitely in great hands as far as musicians are concerned.
Starting point is 00:04:31 So with that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know in one of my social media. What do you think about my overall Chino Packett's album coverage? And if you've listened to Christian by Chino Packett, what is your favorite track off of the album?
