Starting point is 00:00:00 Continuing our coverage of Chino Packers' album Christian, as out now in all DSPs, safe to say him having a track with Tito Double P titled Hoy D. Perlitz is phenomenal, not only for Street Mob Records, which is founded by Jesus Ortiz Pass back in 2018, but the main thing is having an artist under your label that gets this type of feature is phenomenal for the main reason, being that, of course, when you look at Tito-W-P, Now only does he have the third most popular track in Mexico currently, but he also has six tracks in totality as far as percolating on the Mexico charts. So now when you look at it, it's actually seven, it's seven tracks percolating on the Mexico charts, or top 50 more specifically. So if you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about Cheaton's album Christian.
Starting point is 00:00:48 That's 15 songs long, 44 minutes in length. And the main thing you need to know is that a lot of artists are showing up on this album, album whether it's louise r conriquez whether it's name vaga whether it's tito double p oscar meadone is a lot of people that's given a misrespect to chino pack is basically giving their verses their presence to an album ultimately changing the script on what a carido sumbado's album usually sounds like because even chino packis came to uh came out himself in an interview and essentially say said, quote, everyone sounds the same now, same trumpets, trombones, guitars, they all talk about the same stuff. And Chino Packer's main goal was to redefine his sound with experimental textures and personal authenticity because he went on to say, quote, I just feel like everyone sounds the same now.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I don't like that kind of music. now everybody wants to jump on the same wave which makes sense from coming from chino packers because if you think about it being on the label with the front man is fraser regita and that band is doing phenomenal on the just charts in general because overall fraser regita has the 31st most played album in the world like just talking globally with one one ex panthea so that's a phenomenal accomplishment for the Latin community, right? Having a label mate like that, seeing his popular popularity rise,
Starting point is 00:02:29 seeing his dominance on the charts, and then, of course, it always happens. Seeing somebody popular like that, and then the copycats come out of the woodworks and try to emulate that sound. So now somebody who you seem have immense success in the same genre that you're in, you see the copycats come,
Starting point is 00:02:49 and then you're probably thinking to yourself, How can I make my specific project unique? And I think he accomplished that. Definitely having more of a blend of rap in his music now. And if you don't know, his songwriting is also very, very, I think prophetic is the word. Let me make sure if I'm not, make sure I'm not cussing them out. So I'm prophetic. You know, we got to look up stuff on the spot.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Yeah, that's basically it. It's very prophetic and the deeper meaning that he gives is very intentional, which I like it. Because of course, if I can't understand the language, now I'm looking it up. I want to see what you're actually saying with the Spanish languages that you're using, right? And the main thing that you come to realize is that his delivery as far as certain stories is phenomenal. Now, sonically, it's already pleasing. When I go to look at it as far as translating it to English, then you realize this on whole other level so i really like it um if you don't know a lot of these specific tracks is uh very
Starting point is 00:03:55 different as far as the uniqueness like the floater track for example with name vaker that's more bandit influence with uh accordion backing so um there's a lot of tracks like that that's coming out of the box of carritos tombados to give you more of a unique offering so with that being said that's my uh coverage of chino pack's album christian if you don't know Oscar made don is also on this album, which I should probably get into that one as well. Yeah, let's get into, um, actually, I think that'd be it because I also got into Oscar May adone with Victor Mendevo. So with that being said, um, I'm a take back while I said, we're going to get into Chino Packas and Oscar May Adon right now.
