And at first, you're probably thinking to yourself, why in the world would you start off the segment like that? Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's because we have to get into some sad news. And it's because of the artist that I think is the most talented musician or just the most talented human I've ever seen on planet Earth, who currently has the 52nd most play track in the world as far as for residuals. been under charts for about 35 weeks. This man has been arrested. But then, you know what I'm saying?

Starting point is 00:00:42 I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now, as far as the incident, they said that it goes all the way back to February 19th, 2023, and it was at the tape nightclub hangover square in London. And the victim was Amadu Abe Diyah. I think this is like I don't know I say that anyways there's a music producer and the alleged attack details

Starting point is 00:01:09 states that Chris Brown reportedly struck I'm not gonna say that name Amadu let's just say Amadu three times on the head with Adon Julio 1942 tequila bottle now I'm not going to mind to you maybe he was a little thirsty

Starting point is 00:01:28 just maybe he was a little bit parched. Now anyways, Chris Brown obviously was arrested because this man I don't think was wanting a beverage when he smashed him over the head with the night with the Don Julio 1942 tequila bottle. So with that being said, May 15th is when he was arrested at Manchester, England. And as far as the charges, they are saying suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Now, if this happened in 2023 and now it's coming back up in 2025, safe to say. say that this week has been filled with cases that you wonder why has it taken so long to file as far as the police getting involved but you know whenever you're a victim and you want justice

Starting point is 00:02:18 for whatever happened to you and you have proof some will say there's a statute of limitations for a reason so that now you can get justice for whatever happened to you after a certain amount of time So I only bring that up to say that of course it can happen to 2023 and he charged Chris Brown after the fact. I just don't know why I happened on this specific day, especially not to get into conspiracy land. But you know, a day after Chris Brown literally tweeted out free Tory, I kid you not, you can't make this stuff up. Starting point is 00:03:45 tied from Torrey and Chris Brown that you could look at as far as the rock nation involvement and the management of Rihanna and the management of Megan the stallion they do not play games I consistently tell people throughout this podcast Jay-Z at this point is the most powerful person in hip hop and just one of the most powerful people in entertainment period it would behoove you to not say things that could let you show uh let him showcase what his power could do now of course you're probably saying oh you just sounds scary i talk about j z all i want and then you end up like you know what i'm saying i'm not trying to get sued i'm not going to say it i'm not going to say y y'all y'all would never know i don't know what i'm talking about right

Starting point is 00:04:30 But let's just say if you're a prominent figure talking about Jay-Z, you will lose your way of earning a living. I mean, just listen to Charlemagne's book, Black Privilege. He literally has a whole chapter in there. He says something about Jay-Z. He got fired the next day. Chris Brown put out a tweet said, free tory. Literally the next day, he gets arrested for an incident that happened in October, that happened February 19, 2023. once again this is not a conspiracy podcast i just have covered the music industry for quite some

Starting point is 00:05:06 time to realize there's just certain players in hip-hop that you just do not play with and j-z is one of those j-z's one of those dr jays one of those because if you really want to have a if you really want to have a ditty conversation i'm just going to leave it at that uh anyways um chris brown i don't know what's going to happen with this arrest i do believe uh it's very interesting as far as the timing of things but the the specific no there's an unspecified amount exceeding 25,000 as far as damages sought additional relief for medical expenses and lost earnings and a separate UK lawsuit that's seeking 12 million one in the world and that's 16 million in the USD so it's 12 million whatever the UK currency is sorry I'm I don't actually know what that is let me look that up UK currency name

Starting point is 00:06:00 All right, so he's pound. Oh, pounds. I forget. It wasn't pounds like the original currency? Or am I tripping? Anyways, I'm no historian. I just, you know what I mean? I just look it up if I'm perplexed, just so the audience knows what we're talking about.

Starting point is 00:06:14 So yeah, Pound Sterling is what he was winning, 12 million of it. And that translates into 16 million in USD. So the next hearing is May 30th. jury trial starts June 2026. Now, I'm not sure if Chris Brown can get on can get out on bond. Like, I'm not sure if he can. I'm not sure if he can. Right now, all I know is this is a pretty big deal because of the ties that we, I just previously talked about and how there's certain instances in life that shows you who the Illuminaity actually is. And people just seem to act like it's just coincidence, right? So anyways, um, that was basically it. Chris Brown was arrested.

Starting point is 00:07:01 I believe he was trying to go on tour. I think that's unfortunate because now he's going to be dealing with this. And, you know, he was just trying to make sure somebody was hydrated. You know, at the end of the day, 1942 just did a whole collaboration with Poppaws. And those people were going for some Don Julio. So maybe Chris Brown was in a whole other local. location thinking to himself, hey, you know what? This man may need a beverage of 1942 because this is one of the most popular brands in the world. So the way he did it may have been more heavy-handed than usual. And, you know, now he's in the predicament he's in. But I'm just going to cut the brother some slack and say that he was trying to feed him. No, he was trying to just give him some hydration. What is wrong with that? But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on?
