Now what does Russell Wilson think about this one right here?
Let me tell you something.
I had to look down.
I had to go through my Rolodex of Sierra and Chris Brown songs
only to find out these two artists have only made two tracks together.
Turn tables and the one that's currently out on all DSPs titled How We Roll.
Now, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out or to guess why these two have only had two tracks together.
But what we're going to do is just focus solely on the music, because I feel like the easy route would be to enter speculative mode and put up a scenario that may not put either or in the best of light.
So all I got to say is with turntables peaking at number 10 on the Billboard top 100 chart in 2009, yes, they've been around that long, basically submitting the fact that Sierra and Chris Brown is definitely one of the best matches as far as chemistry and music video, just overall music creation.
You would have thought these two would have made a collab album at this point.
I think there was a reason we didn't get that collab album or even more songs with these two artists on it together.
But you can say the same for the likes of Drake.
You can say the same for the likes of the weekend.
Just a lot of interesting collabs that make so much sense in society and definitely to the major labels probably.
But unfortunately did not happen.
Hmm, I wonder why.
But anyway, so let's just focus on the specific.
track that's out now titled
How We Roll with Chris Brown
and Sierra
basically having a dance battle
in the music video which was surely
sends you back to the early
2000s as I don't
know any two artists that
have gained more popularity
from their
cerebral
talent. The ability to
go through a lot of
art forms and do
multiple justice, not even justice, just great at multiple different things.
Like, I always love to say that Chris Brown is the most talented artists I've ever seen
in my life.
Obviously, a lot of people like to compare him to Usher, but correct me if I'm wrong.
I've never really heard Usher rap.
Maybe I'm tripping, but for Chris Brown, I feel like he's a solid to really good rapper,
not like Kendrick or Jay-Z, but when he raps,
he's saying some things.
And he honestly is rapping in a way that I feel like it's entertaining.
Now, for Usher, some people may say that it's because, you know, he is a singer and he stays in his lane.
But because of that versatility that Chris Brown shows me with rapping and singing,
also a lot of other things that a lot of people don't really associate to being a musician,
but I feel like it adds some type of.
extra value as he's able to make actual art you ever seen Chris Brown paint he's a phenomenal
artist like literally like painting um dancing of course you know that's debatable between him and
uh uh uh sure but I do feel like Chris Brown is just the most talented artists I've ever seen
then you get to Sierra who's arguably one of the most talented women artists that I've ever
seen. So you would have
thought that this match would have happened way more
times than just two
over a span of 2009
to 2023.
I think that's a little interesting and I think
at the end of the day, there's
a reason for that, but obviously I want
to get into speculation.
So
years before, they did
perform Take You Down at the
BET Awards. And
I do that, I feel
like that kind of signified that whatever
held them from collaborating was kind of put in the past because in the Instagram post,
Chris Brown was seen with Sierra at a photo shoot kind of hinting to the track and now we see
what it was for.
And then now fans, as we probably understand why these two probably haven't made music
in the past, Sierra fans flooded her comment section with condemning her for working
with Chris Brown because his violent past, including physically assaulting Rihanna.
So that's honestly, I'm not saying I didn't want to bring it up, but I didn't want to get
into speculation, and that's not speculation.
Chris Brown did physically assault Rihanna back in 2009, and the last time they even made
a track together was in 2009, speaking on Chris Brown and Sierra.
So that was honestly one of the reasons I felt like it took so long to get this
sequel from the two of them on the same track as you know putting your hands on a woman in any
scenario it's just an all-time low especially for being a man and so with sierra now
collaborating with chris brown she's going to have to face that backlash from her own
fan base but i believe with the amount of time of time
that has passed with the amount of time served that Chris Brown did accompanied with Rihanna
herself coming out saying that she forgives Chris Brown also even having his music playing in the
background while she's doing like her finty music or brand stuff I think it's a telltale sign
on how time heals everything but of course it was up to Rihanna if Rihanna was still like
nah, still forget him, then, hey, you know, he would have had a tough time.
But with her just basically forgiving him in a way that even her fans chastise her and doing,
I think it's led to collaboration like this and basically led to the public perception of Chris Brown,
not being as harsh because of him serving their five years of probation and also completing
180 days of community service in his home state of Virginia and had to take a domestic
violence chorus. So with all that and then all the stuff I just said before that, I feel like the
public perception is a little bit more open as far as accepting Chris Brown. And that's why I feel
like we finally had a second collaboration from Chris Brown and Sierra titled How We Role.
So anyways, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you
think about Chris Brown and Sierra basically coming back again for the second time and the first
time being since 2009 so all the way in 2023 we finally got out second collab from Sierra Chris
Brown have you listened to it more importantly have you seen the music video and with that said
do you think which side do you think had the better verse or which side do you think had a better
performance in the music video
