Now, before we get started, I have to let y'all know who we are dealing with here.
As Chris Brown has charted a song on the Hot 100 in each of his last 20 years, 20 years, the longest current active streak for any artist that started with Run It all the way back in 2000.
2005 through
sensational back in
2024. Well, this
year. So with that being
said, let's just let you know who we're dealing
with. An icon
living. So
that
and this quavo beef
is very interesting because
boy, does Chris Brown get
disrespected to the highest
degree? I mean,
I think that
I still haven't seen
an artist more talented than Chris Brown.
Whether we're talking about rapping, singing, painting, athletic ability, all of that in itself.
There's no musician.
There's no creative person that I've seen more talented than Chris Brown.
So with that premium glaze out the way, let's get into the Cuevo and Chris Brown fiasco,
as everybody thought we was going to get a Kendrick and Drake Part 2.
But who would have thought that the undercard would have been the main event?
As Chris Brown dropped a deluxe edition for his album 1111 all the way back on April 11th.
No, that's not right.
I forget when he dropped his original album.
It was on the 11th, I believe.
Yeah, he dropped 1111 on November 11th, I believe.
and then now he's dropping this album on April 11th as far as the deluxe so the deluxe features a whopping
13 new tracks and there's one track that everybody has been a fixated on because even though i said
the thing about Chris brown impacting the charts to a certain extent as far as longevity
he's definitely i would be remiss to not point out that he's definitely not a
in the prime when it comes to statistically impacting the charts and that is okay because of course being in the top 100 for 20-place years i will take that over being in the top 10 for one year and being a one-hit wonder for the foreseeable future so of course chris brown is not going to be putting up some monstrous numbers as far as first week sales but he will have the longevity over time simply because he is an icon living
Now, let me get into the main topic so this won't run too long.
But basically, this is track called Freak, right?
How ironic.
We're talking about Freak, and that's basically how he gets at a Quavo.
So this man said, okay, now messing with, oh, hold up.
I had a thing pulled up first.
Oh, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But basically, people were thinking that this just came out of the blue and Chris Brown
started beefing with quavo simply because you know it's been something in the air that's made
people want to go at one another right first we had cat williams and every other comedian then we had
nicky versus megan then we had um who else then we had conier versus everybody and then we had
kendrick versus j cole and drake and then now currently we were supposed to get part two of drake and
Kendrick, which we still are, obviously. It just didn't happen today. Like I said, this is weekend war.
It's not one day. So we don't know when the boy is going to drop. It's going to be sometime this weekend.
So anyways, Chris Brown, he has been, he been had beef with Cuevo simply and simply because of Carucci.
Chris Brown was with Carucci. Carucci left. Chris Brown got with Cuevo. Chris Brown got mad.
literally is that simple i know men are simple with a beef over it's simple and nine times out of 10
it's over a woman so anyways um that's why you should always be on your own purpose and stay out of
that drama but obviously nobody wants to hear that so let's get into the drama so Chris brown said
messing and this is a PG podcast so i'm a um put the ex with a curse words are okay now ex uh
I'm just going to put it in a PG version.
Let's just do it like that.
Okay, now messing with my old women,
ain't going to make us equal.
Sipping on that 1942,
because I don't do no curvo,
which if you don't know,
curvo is an actual liquor.
And he's doing a double entendre
because he's basically referencing Quavo,
which he doubles down on
by following that line up with
freak woman.
She liked Casamigos,
not the Migos.
I don't.
mess with boozy women, man, that expedive is all hype.
Now, the whole track is fire.
That's what I would say.
Personally, I would have preferred less people to be on the track.
I think when you have a fire track like that, people want to hop on it and you got to tell
people no.
You got to be like, nah, this is just for me, little Wayne.
And I think he had, he even had Bryson Tiller on this track, I believe.
I know he didn't.
It was another one.
but that Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller track is also fire but I would have had join the Lucas
little Wayne and then that's it no disrespect to T grizzly obviously he can rap but it's just like
how many cooks do you need in the kitchen the track is already fire I don't know who produces
beat but the beat is straight fire oh ADHD productions and Leo son leo son um track is overall
fire I would just say it's just too many cooks in the kitchen people are going to feel like it's
more of a cipher than the actual track that's what i would say so anyways um as far as the the content
of him going at quavo nothing hard hitting um chris brown's not a rapper so you're not gonna really get
too in-depth type of bars when it comes to quavo um the curvo being uh uh uh a playoff of quavo was pretty
much the best part of the dis because as far as uh she like casamigo's not
the Migos. I'm sorry, but after take off passing, I'm not really trying to hear nobody
disd amigos. It's just not, just don't sit well with my soul growing up with Amigos. Like, I'm not
trying to hear nobody disd amigos. So I'm already not liking the verse. Should have kept it on Cuevo.
If you can't be lyrically inclined enough to keep it strictly on Cuevo, then you should just
not diss them in the first place. So, yeah, that's how I feel about the dis. And it may seem like
I'm downplaying a lot of disses that's been released because, you know, I downplayed the
Kendrick one because even to this day, I still don't think it's all that. It's just
Jay Cole jumped out the window and basically showcased everybody that he was the most overrated
rapper ever. So now it makes that, like that track, seem even harder. Not the track,
the verse, because the track as a whole is definitely one of the best hip-hop tracks I've heard
in a long time. But as far as the verse, when looking at it from a critique, this standpoint,
it's not that hard hitting so yeah something that's hard hitting it's like what
Megan did to Nikki and Drake going at Nikki for her sex offender husband going at
Drake for the alleged BB for the alleged you know surgery that he had done on
himself like hard hitting bars to personal things that not everybody knows but the
person you're dissing knows exactly what you're talking about that's a specific
example I can give of a good
this track. Saying
sipping that 1942
because I don't do no curvo.
Like come on now.
Saying, what did Kendrick say?
For all these
that's a cave with all these nines
you're going to see pet cemetery.
Like, come on, bro.
Like, it's so many other ways
to go at people personally
without, you know, violence happening.
Just don't go all the way
out the window because what Nikki did with the whole
line on your dad, mama.
but like that was just blasphemous for no reason.
Like that was just like,
we're just talking about the dead now?
That's also to bring it back.
That's why I don't like the whole Migos bar
because I'm like, I have to take off passing.
I'm not trying to hear any distance towards the Migos, honestly.
So anyways, Chris Brown, deluxe edition,
13 new tracks features people like Bryson Tiller,
drawing a Lucas, things of that nature.
What else?
Yeah, so Chris Brown and Cuevo been beefing.
I guess he just decided to put it on wax
in this new deluxe because it was in the air.
And hopefully people don't think it's just because of
Kendrick dissing Drake.
People want to jump out and diss each other.
Cuevo and Chris Brown
has had altercations all the way back
since 2017.
So, yeah.
With that being said, click my link through my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about the whole Chris Brown and Cuevo beef?
and at the end of the day, if this was the Civil War, which or whose side are you on?
