You know, people that we know, and it was totally unnecessary, you know what I mean, for you to attack a man with a weapon.
Because what that's going to do is put a man in a position where he want to protect himself.
And that's what, that was the root of igniting this gunplay.
All right.
So first off, definitely got to get into one of the more pivotal.
disc tracks I've ever seen in mist of a beef because I'm not saying that this vitriol
as far as the verbal attack was warranted because keep in mind Chris Brown kicked it off
off his deluxe album 1111 with the track freak where he just comes out and basically
fires off at Cuevo simply for the internet rumors that that's
they made up because it was hanging out with each other at a fashion show.
So Chris Brown started this back and forth.
Cuevo, of course, responded, basically saying he's tender because of his girl being taken.
And he had a hint of Jermaine in his disc track, which the hip-hop world at this point knows
is a recipe for disaster.
Why do I say that?
Because Cuevo said in his disc track
that it ain't really even like that,
but you steady going at me,
which if I was to find that disc track,
because we're going to get into
why I played that J. Prince clip in a second,
because that is very pivotal.
I mean, honestly, that's why one of my,
that's where one of my drops exists
because it was so powerful.
Like, when he was talking about the whole situation,
I'm not going to get all the way into it,
But simply, the clip I was playing with Jay Prince talking about the situation of how takeoff was murdered, you know?
And he explained the whole situation and on a million dollars worth of game.
So that's why I got this clip from because when he said it, time and place, the way he carefully chose his words,
probably one of the more pivotal power statements I've heard in a long time.
And I'm trying to find it.
Oh, here it is.
I'm going to just say this to you.
Don't never put me in no position where, you know, I have to defend myself.
And, you know, this is from when that interview aired.
Like, when he said that, I was like, this man is a different level of, I don't know if he's super villain, Superman.
I don't know if he's Lex Luther or Nick Fury,
but the intellect is out of this world.
You know what I mean?
That wouldn't be healthy for you.
And, you know, I have to say that.
I hate, but it's a million dollars with the game.
You know what I mean?
It's a million dollars with the game,
and I'm going to give it to him right on a million dollars
with the game because I ain't going to throw rocks
and hide my hand.
I'm going to just let it be known, you know, to him
because I hear what's being said.
And it's all,
over after that.
And that is one of the more pivotal, powerful statements that ended up stopping the whole
back and forth between Cuevo's camp and the J. Prince family.
Because if you don't know, J. Prince was basically beefing with Cuevo and offset for the fact
that Cuevo's brother, uh, bodyguard, I forget who it was, but basically takeoff was
in the midst of that altercation, but he's not the one who started it.
Cuevo was in the dice game outside of like a bowling alley when the argument happened
and the physical confrontation that was started, well, not instigated, but that was ignited
was by his security team, Cuevo's.
Cuevo had somebody with him that ended up punching, if you watch the whole interview,
he breaks it down, ended up punching somebody and now the whole situation escalated.
to where multiple people were shot.
It wasn't just take off, you know, rest of pieces of takeoff, but it was multiple people shot.
And he was just one of the people who lost his life.
It's a very serious situation.
The reason I'm breaking it down like this is because Chris Brown shot at Cuevo first,
as far as the track freak off of his deluxe album 1111.
Cuevo, being a rapper, all he did was respond in a track called 10.
Tender talking about him being Tender over him taking his women and his abusive drugs and putting hands on women.
That was probably the most explicit one.
But because of his hesitancy, oh, that's what I was doing.
I was bringing up the track.
I want to quote it so you all know what I'm talking about.
So Tender, this bar right here.
And once again, Analytic Dreams video to see the video along with the audio.
But where is it up?
I think it's in verse two.
Yeah, see, right here, this is like some germane stuff right here.
Tell me, little bro, what's your issue?
Is it over a girl?
You said it's bigger than that.
But no, it is not.
Oh, that's not the one.
He's still talking about taking this girl.
All right.
I mean, that's more lighthearted stuff.
I mean, taking somebody's girl is not what Chris Brown did over this disc record,
which we're going to get to in the second.
Where's it at?
I think he said post-core is pockets.
I think it's in verse two.
See, right.
You used to be wiping, tummy.
It's bigger than that.
No, it's not.
Oh, yeah, right here.
Okay, so this is the germane-esque energy
that you never, ever want on your disc track
because it just automatically disqualifies your disc track,
which at the time, I was saying it was pretty fire.
I like to track to the day.
I still like to track.
But listening back to it,
that's one of those things we're reviewing disc tracks
as soon as they drop.
You don't get some of the double.
Well, not even, you know, the double triple entendre's.
You don't get some of the hidden Easter eggs till later.
Like, who knew that when Drizzi was talking about Chippendale probably got your girl Chanel.
Those was Tours future because his nickname is Pluto and Chippendale is always outsmarting Pluto.
And then at the beginning of his disc track when he randomly said, I'm out in Tokyo because I'm bigger in Japan, which everybody was like, I mean, okay, I guess he's just filling in some bars, right?
come to find out future's whole manager name is Tokyo ladies and gentlemen these people are
word smiths it should be taken as such um so anyways um so stuff on the surface sometimes comes back
and I'm like oh I misread that by a mile right and I didn't well with the Drake stuff I didn't
like talk about it like that but I was thinking he was going at uh somebody else but back to
this distract right
said, I'm giving respect, but I know you not.
And before that, he said, you said it's bigger than that, but no, it's not when he's referring
to is over a girl, but it's bigger than that.
When Cuevo is just saying, I think his, I know it's not bigger than that.
I'm giving respect, but I know you not.
Germaine-esque energy that has unfortunately ended because of this ether-like disc track.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm giving this Chris Brown.
weakest link distrack ether level of quality and that and the reason i'm saying this is because
when you hit ether level of disrespect the beef is over drake once famously said i'm saying drake a lot
because he's the goat like i'm sorry which y'all think your favorite rapper's taking 50 years
to respond to a distract um so back to the goat drake notoriously said on scorpion
You have to realize that somebody would have to die when nobody will dead it, right?
Going this far in your second disc track, when you are the one that sparked the feud as far as the actual music being attributed towards this.
Because keep in mind, I'm going to keep reiterating it.
Chris Brown put out freak, Quavo responded with Tinder.
So Chris Brown started it.
Quavo just responded.
it. And then Chris Brown just responded to that response, which one could be like, oh, Quaver could have just ignored it.
It's Chris Brown. You can't ignore it. Like, y'all are going to stop playing with Chris Brown like he's not one of the most iconic artists. Just forget hip hop R&B, one of the most iconic artists to ever live. There's a reason why when people think of a Michael Jackson tribute, they automatically think of Chris, Chris Brown.
So anyways
You can't ignore it
So he responded like every rapper
Would want him to do in hip hop
Chris Brown
Basically saying I'm up for a trap
Hit him with this ether like
This track that ladies and gentlemen
I ain't gonna lie to you
This don't sit well
With my soul
Because I
Continuously say Chris Brown's the most talented
musician I've ever seen
But the talent
Has been too much on display
In this disc track
Because you my brother
made
your
disc track is too
phenomenal
and y'all
gonna think I'm caping
but I'm being so serious
this disc track
is too much
of a high quality
disc
and once you reach that status
with somebody
who we've known
in the past
to have certain
situations
that may not be
as law abiding
it gets into
scary territory
to where now
when we look
at this Chris Brown and Quavo beef
were no longer focused on if
Quavo is going to respond
musically. I'm sorry
but if we're talking about Drake
and Kendrick, I don't know if there's anything
they could say about each other that could result
in something happening
to one another. That's why we want a
lyrical battle. That is why I'm
calling this out the way I am. That's why I started
with the J. Prince sample. That's
why I broke down the situation of takeoff
passing because of everybody talking
about how um
quavo's camp and j prince's camp
you know being at odds and then you know of course
offset jumped in even though he wasn't there
but um chris brown basically said
because we're gonna get into the the bomb he dropped
but we're gonna start with a little bit you know
I mean this man literally say I'm a ticking time bomb on a
detonator oh my goodness uh all right so um
what's it at
Yeah, this disc track is insane.
Like just reading this is that this is insane.
Like if it if it didn't happen so soon.
Reminder.
This happened in 2022 ladies and gentlemen.
We're only two years removed from one of the greatest members of,
from one of the members of the greatest group,
one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time passing away, right?
Only two years removed.
This man said,
crazy when he died everybody really wished it was you instead at this point it's no longer music
and best believe me i don't even know if i'm gonna cover this anymore because that's that's it right
there like ether hit him up well they what are the what are the more uh notorious disc tracks
out there i don't think there's anything more disrespectful than that i'm i'm being completely
honest like the takeoff thing bringing that up is crazy in itself spinning it to say that people wish it
was you it's really no music to be made after that i ain't gonna lie to you like you know it's certain stuff
that it should be off limits in this track land but it's not because it's hip hop so whenever i'm covering
as a hip hop commentator i have to respect the history and know that anybody can take it anywhere
Chris Brown took it in a place where Quavo obviously can't match it.
So the beef is over.
Chris Brown basically won.
But like Dando said, at the end of Infinity War, at what cost?
Because nowadays, when people see Chris Brown, they're going to always be remembered when he dropped his bar.
And this, my brother, hopefully you can protect yourself from the ramifications of saying,
that so anyways um what else there's something else i want to get into i mean he talked about him
hidden sweetie but like who hasn't tiger uh y g i mean even offset i mean come on why they why y'all
think offset and quavo stop talking in the first place like i mean everybody was just it was like
uh you ever been the golden corral you know what i'm saying anyways um what else was i saying
yeah uh chris brown you won brother please stop don't dis don't dis don't dis quote no
like i like quavo i like chris brown so i'm caping for both like on one hand i'm telling you that this is
ether level disquality as far as the subject matter and then on the flip side
quavo just let it go and um at this point what he said it's really nobody could tell quavo
how he should respond i mean hey i'm a law about the citizen sorry
don't care but you know some other people are not so with that being said i really don't have anything
else to comment on the disc track is phenomenal and the reason why i just pinpointed that one line
and i'm not breaking down the rest of the disc track is because y'all know what that this line is going
to do let's just leave it at that so with that been said click my link sure in my bio let me know
one of my social medias what do you think about the chris brown dish track weakest link and do you
think he took it too far or not
