Getting into the seventh most popular track in Mexico currently, we are diving into Chiuyan and Foresa Regina.
Hopefully I said Chudian right because I'm pretty sure I'm not trying to butcher his name.
Chiuyan.
There we go.
It's Chiuyan, so I actually said it right.
So with that being said, but this particular track, Pika, Pika is released November 28th, 2024.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is February 2025, almost going into March as
well, it's almost March as this longevity as far as pika pica, especially being primarily successful
on the charts of Mexico, I think that's a testament to its overall quality level because
I've covered Friza a lot of times, especially on a podcast to the point where the first time I
even covered him was September 18th, 2023 with his supposed track with Drake,
Motta Capone and Chino Pachas
and of course I covered Fureza Regina
by himself for the first time, October 20th,
20th, 20th, with his track,
Pallas Babies, Wai, but what in the world?
How you pronounce that?
Give me a more second.
I don't even think I could get a pronunciation for that.
Can I get a pronunciation for that, please?
Fueza Reg Ida,
Pah Las Babies, Y Belikida.
Oh yeah, I was definitely going to keep butchering that.
I ain't going to cap to you.
So Pah Las Babies, why Belakita?
There we go.
So as far as Fresa Regina, I've covered him a lot of times,
and especially when it comes to the Latin community,
they've shown a lot of love,
especially where I've covered that particular artist
and just Latin music in general.
Because guess what?
Covering the music industry,
you have to realize that a lot of these overseas artists
influence your favorite musician at some point.
At some point, they're going to look over to Afrobees.
They're going to look over to K-pop.
They're going to look over to Latin music.
They're going to look over to Bollywood.
I'm getting into that industry right now
as far as just learning about,
their culture and what you come to realize is a lot of this music has similar sentiments as far as
subject matter they just deliver it in certain ways that's appealing to the culture right but we're all
we're all really talking about similar things when you really dissect the music that they're
making so anyways getting back into freda regita when you're looking at the charts i believe that
even chouian and fereza no no actually fereza regita has a track right now going crazy on the charts
with Oscar Badone titled Two Boda, which is the 75th most play track in the world,
been under trust for about 17 weeks.
And then, of course, in Mexico, it's the 13th most popular track in the world.
So that kind of shows you how you could be immensely popular in Mexico,
as far as having the top 15 hit in Mexico, like, out of all the tracks in the world,
like release.
And specifically in Mexico, you have the 13th most played track, right?
But then you come over to the worldwide appeal as far as Billboard's Top 100.
and it's the 75th most played track in the world.
Now, of course, it's been on the tracks,
it's been on the charts for about 17 weeks,
but when it comes to actually putting quality forth
and it having an immense impact in your region
does not mean that it's always going to have that same impact
in the U.S. and just the world,
and that's just a correlation that was wanting to make for y'all
as far as seeing how a top 15 track of Mexico
could end up being the 75th most played track just in the world.
So besides that, Pika Pika is definitely doing numbers on the charts as like I said,
it is currently the seventh most play track in the world.
So when it comes to the overall charts, I would look out for this track having a very spike in numbers as far as consumption from the masses.
So Chiu Yan, I'm not really too familiar with his type of music.
What I can say is that he makes modern choritos and his,
style is more streetwise party-driven lyrics aligning with more of a gritty tone popularized by
uh fereza regita and apparently when it comes to the carido's uh sound in a modern carrito sound
freder regita of course you know adds a lot of hip-hop elements to his music which is why i've
covered him so many times because i really enjoyed the latin rap scene uh scene even though
i ain't a lot to you sometimes i don't understand what they're saying but even with u.s musicians
Like you get a mumble, you get a SoundCloud rapper nowadays, and you get all the comments saying when the English version coming out, whole time, I'm thinking they're speaking in English.
But obviously, when you slur your words and mumble every single syllable, people are not going to understand.
And they're going to type stuff like when the English version coming out.
So, of course, I don't say that for other Spanish musicians, because, you know, if I don't understand that, I just listen to it sonically and see if I like it.
And like I've always said, my favorite live musician currently is Peso Pluma.
So when it comes to friends of Regina, he's also up there.
I've listened to him a bunch of times and he's even ended up on my playlist a lot of times,
especially with the recent releases.
So with Pika Pika, I definitely think it's going to have potential to rise up on the charts
while it's already the seventh most popular track in Mexico.
We still have yet to see where it charts on a Billboard Hot 100.
So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about the Latin music field in general?
and who is your favorite artist currently from the Latin rap scene
