Starting point is 00:00:00 Y'all remember that SpongeBob meme where, you know, SpongeBob always had this old reliable thing he caught the jellyfish with, right? And if the people looking over on YouTube, you can probably see why I'm already talking about as they have the meme up on the screen. But Corday thinks he's slick, you know, it's one thing to have a Jermaine Co-produced track, which, you know, I'm fine with. At first I wasn't, but after listening to the track and it was just straight fire, I was like, okay, you know, I'll let this slide.
Starting point is 00:00:28 but he's still not getting away with the Anderson pack feature now if y'all don't remember Corday tweeted out that he was basically hold on let me find this tweet because I want to I want to get it verbatim because this man thinks he's like Corday tweets an album being bad like he basically said he basically admitted that the album was bad like come on now right who does that like music is so subjective as an artist I would never disrespect my craft like that. Like, okay, so Corday said, quote, because I never, I never would have thought in a million years
Starting point is 00:01:07 a hip-hop artist would come out and say this about the own music. Corday said, quote, yo, so I just drove on a little four-hour road trip. First of all, that's not a little four hours this long time. And listen to both my albums front to back. And I must say, it's most definitely the Lost Boy, which is this album from 20. over from a bird's eye view which is from 2022 my bad y'all i'm gonna do better next time i got something to prove and guess what's the first feature that he calls upon for this new out upcoming album
Starting point is 00:01:47 anison pack guess it was one of the best tracks off of the lost boy r n p in my you know humble opinion and then guess who's on that track anderson pack so as far as the old reliable means that you see right here. I'm going to take off the screen now so y'all can read this little headline. I think Corday getting Anderson Pack is more important than the Germain Coe produced tagline that they placed on there. I think that the whole Anderson Pack and Corday dynamic is the old reliable for Corday to put out quality music because in general, I believe from a bird's eye view is one of the best tracks of 2022. And I'm definitely coming out with my list. I just wanted to, I just want my list to come out a little bit before the Grammy, so everybody starts to reminisce on all music again,
Starting point is 00:02:39 and then they'll be like, oh, let me watch, listen to it. You know, basically try to play with the algorithm, right? But Corday, having a feature of Anderson Pack, right after saying, from a bird's eye view, wasn't better than Lost Boy, is too on the nose for me not to point out. This man knows that Anderson Pack helped him out with one of the best tracks in his career, in my opinion. and for this to be another Anderson Pack feature track, I think it just submits the fact
Starting point is 00:03:07 that Anderson Pack is one of the more talented artists in the music industry, which is why Bruno Morris sweeped him up for their Silk Sonic album because he was like this man is immensely talented and took him for a whole album, they weren't Grammys, all type of stuff. Literally, you have to look this up on your own, I'm not looking this up, but Bruno Mars literally took himself, took Silk Sonic out of some of the nominations
Starting point is 00:03:31 for certain award shows because he wanted other groups to get more shine. Like that's how much Silk Sonic was just running the awards and just collecting wins after win. Like they were just getting so many trophies from different awards shows that Bruno Mars was like at certain awards shows. He was like, nah, don't give it to us, give it to other artists so they can have more shine. But they took those Grammys though.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Oh, best believe me, they took those Grammys. But as far as other awards show, they was like, nah, let other groups have it. So Anderson Pack is just one of those. very highly respectable artists in the music industry. And I think it shows once again as Corday went to him as, you know, like I'm going to keep saying, or reliable because it was the fan favorite off of the Lost Boy 2019 album. It's just so on the nose that I just had to point it out because in general, when you put out a bad album or quote-unquote bad album, I like from a bird's eye view, but I understand
Starting point is 00:04:26 it's not everybody's cup of tea. And then you go back to what people like. obviously this is the type of dynamic that they'll want to hear and of course over a cold produced track everybody compares this record day to j cole which i just i don't get the comparison at all like what just because he can rap like yo is that the bar now imagine being the bar that you can rap and now you compare to j cole because their subject matter i don't even think it's close to like obviously they talk about like great gems and different things you can do to advance um your finances and but also they talk about in two completely different ways I believe like Corday I feel like
Starting point is 00:05:06 it's more of a nerd perspective I never really looked at Germain like a nerd but um I feel like corday has that I don't even know this is this this is this is that like nerd appeal when it comes to the hip-hop rap game and I've never got that from Germain ever like ever so yeah I don't get the comparisons but anyways you know Corday's back were over liable you know relying on to get from a smash which he definitely did pause but um so in general two tens by corday anderson pack is a 10 at a 10 definitely one of my favorite tracks of the year so far and um one of the better tracks i've heard this year like by far so uh click my links here in my bio let me know one of my social medias for my people on youtube make sure to uh comment like and subscribe and let me
Starting point is 00:05:52 know what do you think about this track by corday and Anderson pack and does this give you hope for recording day's upcoming album
