Now, of course, OG notorious mass effect listeners definitely know the first time I ever went viral as far as the specific podcasts.
I don't even know how to quantify it because, you know, my podcast numbers aren't like public.
It's not like, you know how you can go on social media, YouTube and see numbers.
Like podcast numbers is not really out there like that.
That's why I try to be transparent, you know, with my numbers, which, you know, click my link to your in my bio to access my social.
media's because I'm always transparent in my numbers and I put it out there for the public to see.
You know what I mean?
So with that being said, the baby freestyle over at LA Leakers was the first time I ever had a viral
segment and it's simply due to the fact the events leading up to the LA Leakers freestyle
made this man seem like a whole super villain.
When I tell you that this man beat up his girl's boyfriend,
was shopping at the mall confronted by some random dude,
punched him to the point where he instantly had an outfit change.
And that's not even to mention the fact that way before that,
the girlfriend's brother at the bowling lane that he ended up meeting was talking stuff before.
And they ended up getting slid all the way down the bowling lane.
Like he was one of the bowling balls to be chosen.
You know what I'm saying?
Like it's almost as if this man back in that day was just invincible
and we was just watching a superhero tale play out in front of us.
So obviously you have to go all the way back there.
Like I'll probably, I haven't listened to that so long because sometimes when something
blows up as far as analytically, you know, I try to see what people.
enjoy is from that segment but you know i'm not trying to pod about podding but you know i'm just
reminiscent because literally i think this is the first time i ever went viral and for me going
viral is like 100 to 200 000 views as far as like in a week or two you know i'm saying
it's not like millions or millions i mean obviously at this point i could probably look at it
and it probably be a lot but you know you have to keep in mind that my older podcast was also taken down
by UMG so i don't have all the numbers but you get what i'm saying anyways um yeah so here we are again
a fooled circle moment as the baby has completely been shunned out by the industry due to his own
um actions right it's not because of stuff that was out of his control he went on stage
said some egregious
some insane
the
what's the word
idiocracy was on full display
because you cannot
say what you said
on that stage on that grand stage
and not get some type of backlash
because best believe me
since that rant
was you can look it up for yourself
because I don't even feel comfortable repeating
what that man said on stage
since that rant
this man has been excluded
and exiled
from the hip hop community
it's kind of what we did to jay cole
like that's kind of what we
what we are doing to jay co currently
you know with him being in hip hop timeout
except for the baby
because of his status not being as legendary
we just completely kicked him out
and he's never been accepted ever since
but as far as me personally
you know
I enjoy the baby's
rapping ability now do i wish he would switch to flow up in the beat of course but put yourself in the
baby shoes millions of dollars are coming every time you wrap a specific way with a specific bob
would you not keep doing it of course you would so i think somebody should have been in the baby's
corner to try to help him evolve into different flows into different beat patterns and things of
that nature and not be a yes man i'm not going to
basically put in the blame on his entourage but this man has found himself in a lot of interesting
obstacles that I think could have been avoided if he would have had different people around him
which you can say that's easy to say in hindsight because you know what they say hindsight vision
is 20. I don't forget what the saying is but basically you can look in the past and be like oh
a could or would or shoulda.
But even back then when, you know, he shot somebody and then he was like, oh, he called the police.
He was like, yeah, this man is neutralized, which, you know, obviously the man was trespassing onto his property.
But how does that call leak out and where does that come from?
You know what I mean?
Like bragging about certain things that's happened in your home at Walmart and then at your own premises again is one of those things where you would try to get away for that.
from that specifically if you're trying to get certain brand deals if that makes sense so i just feel
like somebody in his entourage should have told him maybe i'm tripping maybe i'm you know not giving him
actual specific advice but that's what i would say like sometimes certain energy you around could
cause certain uh problems that makes sense but whatever um he freest out over kentrick lamars like that
beat and it freestyle over the
he freestyle over something else was it the get it sexy
track i think it's so yeah because he he switched it to like get it baby or whatever anyways
pause um basically what i want to say is this is a great display on how he can rap you know
it's just specific beats specific flows he chooses to use over and over again that leaves people
to believe he's a mediocre rapper when literally there's a track that j z was on as far as the same beat
and everything over a conier album and that same track swip swapped out j z for the baby and let's just say
the quality might have increased now y'all may think it's blasphemous what i just said but i need
y'all to go listen to jail and they'll go listen to jail part two and y'all tell me which verse was better so
obviously that's one instance on how I believe the baby is a superior rapper than people actually believe
but I have another example because you know I'm a I'm a fan of hip hop so it's just things I always recall right
um germane's album which I keep calling this man Jermaine but y'all know who I'm talking about the man who is in hip hop timeout
currently him so if you go to his Dreamville soundtrack I think is one of the baby's best verses that he's
ever put out simply due to the fact that the stage was grandiose and he definitely met the moment
and exceeded it i mean literally kendrick Lamar was on a track which basically foreshadowed this whole
event because imagine being somebody like germane asking kendrick to accompany one of your tracks
and you say and the only thing you do when you do accompany that track is i only came here for some
money like go back to the track under the sun this man kensi glomar is not even a feature because of what he
said on that track he was like i only came here for some money i woke up for some money i think that's
what he said verbatim but anyways besides that the baby had another just classic verse that is very
just supremely underrated to the point where it's just like if he did more of that i think people will
look at him at a better light. But these rappers, it seems like they don't want to be looked at
in that way because it makes it harder for them to put out music because now they expect a certain
level every time. Because Little Baby had this track called Bigger Than Me, which was literally,
that was a Kendrick-esque type track. Was it bigger than me? I was wrong. Wrong track.
Let me find it. I know y'all probably think.
like a Kendrick-esque little baby ain't never had a track like that but now i'm being so being so serious
so basically my turn which is by far little baby's best album uh album like like by far right if you go to
my turn and then i think i may be on the deluxe yeah the bigger picture my fault it's not bigger
than me the bigger picture that's what it's called um that's a kendrick-esque track especially in the
moment of how Black Lives Matter movement was at his peak the perfect track that's why timing is
everything that track was so perfect people start to look at him like kendrick people think about it
think of what the times we are in right now as as everybody said or just saying little baby is completely
fell off he had a whole verse off a future's second album and nobody cared so think of that little
baby all the way back in 2020 being thought of as Kendrick for him putting out the bigger uh the bigger
picture to the point where people were saying he was a successor to drake that is what time and place
does for your career so i say that to say little baby quickly after the reception of that track
came out and basically said don't expect that conscious rap from me i'm going i'm
still going to rap about the trenches and things of that nature.
So if these up-and-coming rappers don't want to be seen in a certain light, they cannot be
surprised when people just up and leave them and forget they ever existed, because they
simply walked away from the moment.
So with that being said, that was just a little, I don't even know where that came from, but
I'm basically telling you why, you know, certain rappers fall off, because it's the moments where
you're most uncomfortable that maybe.
you should jump out there and showcase why you're the best and if you don't do that or if you don't
uh if you shun yourself from it and be like no i'm just going to do what i what i know this type of stuff
happens so to bring it full circle that is why i wanted to talk about the the baby's la leakers
freestyle again because obviously in 24 even though the bars and everything on the same level
that he had all the way back and i forget when it was like five years like five years you
years ago, four to five years ago when he was on LA leakers, because I think he's been on like
three times. It still does not hit the same simply because of what you did in the events leading
up to this. So now that people see you in a different light, it would never hit the same and
people have unfortunately moved on. So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about the baby just ultimately being
shunned from the hip hop industry, the music industry, for his action?
on stage that one festival and do you think is fair and if not when do you think people will
start to come around to accepting the baby's music again
