Join Here: https://ow.ly/msoH50WCu0KAnalytic Dreamz examines DaBaby...'s self-directed “Save Me” music video, released on YouTube in September 2025, honoring 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, fatally stabbed August 22, 2025, on Charlotte’s LYNX Blue Line by suspect Decarlos Brown—now facing murder charges after prior jail release. Opening with 30 seconds of raw WCNC Charlotte news footage, the video pivots to a poignant reenactment: Actors Natalie Jones as Zarutska and KenDarius “Too” Hargrove as Brown recreate the attack, with DaBaby intervening as a witness-guardian to halt the knife mid-strike. Zarutska’s character walks home safely, rubbing her neck in relief, before the final frame links to her GoFundMe, surpassing $434,500 for her family.Lyrics grapple with violence, guilt, and faith—“Think you can save me like you God or somethin’”—echoing DaBaby’s spoken introspection: “It’s just some people, man. Unfortunately, we can’t save ‘em. I might be one of them.” The hook “You think you can save me” underscores emotional pleas for mental health reform, tying to systemic failures and DaBaby’s 2020 brother’s suicide. Community vigils and murals mourn Zarutska, while the video ignites debates on prevention and narrative control.Controversies erupt: Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) confirms unauthorized filming, escorting the crew off trains via See-Say App reports. Supporters hail it as a “prayer, protest, and promise” with symbolic pauses and identical props amplifying alternate outcomes. Critics decry it as self-centered heroism, resurfacing DaBaby’s 2021 Rolling Loud backlash. Analytic Dreamz unpacks the artistry, cultural questions—“Is it possible to save anybody?”—and real impact amid grief and reform calls.Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

You think you can save me.
You know, when it's just some people, man, unfortunately, you know how you think you can save me.
Man, we can't save them.
You know what I'm saying?
I might be one of them.
I might be one of them people.
You know, baby, you can't save.
And I ain't looking for you to save me.
be more grateful.
You know I put my faith in God.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like what's going on?
Now, ladies and gentlemen, that was the baby's track.
His latest track titled Save Me,
which is one of the more heartfelt videos
that we've ever seen in hip hop.
And the reason why I say that is because
this type of substance does not come around too often,
which is why when it does come around,
around people are very outspoken about how they feel about that particular video because it
definitely invokes a certain emotion to where you're either going to heavily agree with it or
you're going to hate it basically you're going to love it or hate it that's why I was trying
to get across if you don't know about the incident it's arena Zerutski I believe I'm saying
the name right 23 year old Ukrainian refugee that worked at a sharp
Charlotte Pizza Shop.
If you don't know, the baby's actually from Charlotte.
So when it comes to that incident and him speaking upon it,
some would think that he's just coming out for no reason
and talking about this particular incident.
But then you come to realize his home ties as far as where he grew up.
And now to witness such a fatal stabbing that happened on August 22nd, 2025,
aboard the Charlotte's L Y and X Blue Line light rail,
you kind of start putting the puzzle pieces together
on why the baby would speak on such a thing
that happened in Charlotte because the babies from Charlotte.
Anyways, getting back into the overall community response.
A lot of people are seeing that this is a phenomenal video
well shot, well put together,
because of course, this having a lot of,
lot of thought put into it to the point where at the end of the video and
analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I'm
putting up the picture of arenas go fund me so when you put up the go fund me at
the end of the footage right and then you combine that with the fact that it's a
lot of other people posting the same go fund me to the point where you probably
is probably raised way more than a 431,000 you see right here if you go to that
site right now
Actually, let me go to that right now.
Let me see if I don't want to docs anybody.
But yeah, so we just pulled it up.
And as you can see right here, they definitely raised more than what they put at the end of the baby video,
which basically shows you.
We're not going to give all the credit to the baby.
But safe to say that, you know, the publicity that he had in his video definitely helped out.
As you can see right here, people are still donating as of, you know, in real time of me covering this.
People are donating, as you can see right here.
So, 440,000 raised for Arena, Zarutska.
and ultimately when you look at the the baby video
when you look at the overall marketing promotion
as far as how people are reacting to this video
as the crucial thing to know about this video
is in the alternate footage is
the baby intervening to stop Brown's knife attack
saving Zerushka. If you don't know
the suspect's name is D. Carlos Brown
and he was previously jailed before the attack
right and now he's currently facing
murder charges, which just letting you know the information.
So you have all the information to do of that, what you will.
But getting back into the babies shooting, getting back into the baby's video as far as
having Zerousas, Zerutska's character walking home safely, you kind of realize why this
was put together in the first place.
Now, a lot of people come out saying that, oh, the baby is insensitive.
with this video and him connecting tragedy to something else to this is not the same.
But ultimately, I do believe it's the same as when it comes to mental health in general,
the baby is connecting tragedy to systematic failures in treating mental illness and recalls losing his brother to suicide in 2020 in the year of 2020.
So when you look at that and when you look at that specifically, the baby is doing things that he has encountered in his own personal life.
And now he's giving it back to the public and the way that speaks on violence, prevention, mental health reform, and narrative ownership.
Because when other people look at it, they're basically going to look at the video and turn it off.
They're not going to dive deeper and see what the baby's actually.
trying to get across in an incident that happened in this hometown.
Once again, I want to reiterate and basically bring home the point that the baby is from
Charlotte, North Carolina.
And this is where the attack happened.
So now you have a superstar music figure in the baby speaking up on these type of issues
on how to avoid these type of issues.
And I do believe a lot of people are having a very interesting reaction.
whether it's hating the video or loving the or loving the video but at the end of the day
i just wanted to let you know what type of actions the baby is putting forth and giving
actionable items as far as at the end of the video to uh to support arenas go fund me
with that being said that's the main thing i wanted to get into i just wanted to bring this to y'all's
attention once again the baby is out here showcasing how powerful it is to use you
your music whenever you have a real message to showcase to the masses. So that being said,
click my link to my bio. Let me know in one of my social media is. What do you think about the
baby's save me video being tied to the Charlotte incident? And at the end of the day, what do you
take away from the music video?
