Getting back into the Italy music field, we have to switch gears and get into Damiano David because of course his album, Funny Little Fears is coming out May 15th, 2025. But of course, if you go to your local DSP, whatever DSP you use, whether that's Spotify, Apple Music, you will realize that he has a track up currently titled Next Summer. Now, this was released February 28th, 2025. And the reason we're covering Damiano for today is, is because of the masses when it comes to him having 8.6 million monthly listeners. And of course, if you're not familiar with the type of music he makes or the type of music that is being promoted, basically Damiano is under Sony Music Italy slash Arista. So this album is consisting of 14 songs. It's set to release May 15, 2025.

And of course, it's more of a self-discovery album as Damiano. described it as a manual for facing life, uh, life and anxieties. So when it comes to anxieties and facing that, that's basically the overall theme that this album will be getting across. So when it comes to funny little fears, the thing I wanted to focus on, of course, was Damiano Davy because I'm pretty sure not a lot of people who listen to the podcast may be aware of this individual as this is my first time ever covering this artist. So if you don't know, essentially,

like I said, we're getting back into the Italy music field. So he's an Italian singer-songwriter where his journey from the streets of Rome to international stardom and establishing himself as a powerhouse in the global music scene. Now, of course, that is what his bio reads. Of course, I did my own research. So essentially, what I came to find out was, or find out was, Damiano really came out with a track Silver Lines, and he also had another track titled, born with a broken heart and then there was this other track that i said previously in the segment as far as it being a rollout for uh funny little fears next summer next summer being the single for funny little fears so the reason why i'm talking about his standout tracks is because if

somebody wants to get into domiano and they're probably thinking to themselves all the music that he's been putting out because he's been putting out music for a very minuscule amount of time let's just put it like that right he started in 2024 he's already signed with sony music italy and it seemingly well it seems as if he's going to make a big splash when his album actually comes out so i wanted to point out certain tracks that i believe would encapsivate the masses on first listen so some of his biggest tracks out the gate was silver lines once again produced by a labyrinth or labyrinth born with a broken heart and of course his latest release titled next summer if you wanted a starting point for damiano david i think that's a great starting point but if you don't know

he already has another single out well he has singles out in the past that was wanting to highlight i'm trying to see yeah okay this one yeah so it was another single okay so nothing breaks like a heart right that track came out january 29th 2025 right before next summer so that as far as that particular track in next summer, those are his current offerings musically leading up to funny little fears about I wanted to give an overall synopsis of what you should probably get into if you're new to Damiano. Also, when it comes to notorious Mass Effect, you know we get into the entire music field. So I wanted to highlight an Italian artist that's also out here and captivating the masses to such a degree that he signed to Sony. I don't think people realize that once a major label steps in,

you already probably had a lot of individual independent engagement that led to a major machine coming in and trying to uplift your artists or your art to other demographics right that's essentially the main reason to partner with a sony music Italy right and then of course him putting out this album with this type of rollout a big machine already behind it such as sony as I talk about market share all the time, because if you don't know, that's the main reason why people sign to these major labels. Sony has 30% of the entire 100% market share. Of course, Universal Music Group is the big dogs in the music industry, and they have 54%. But Damiano being with Sony, it's not too bad.

I mean, the second biggest music label in the world. I mean, at some point, you know, you probably aren't missing out on just not being on anything besides UMG, if you're already on Sony because they're the second biggest. So anyways, with that being said, there is a tour set to have 34 dates across Europe, Australia, North America, South America, and Asia. And of course, his solo tour is happening November 2025. His London shows are happening September 28th through the 29th at Roundhouse. And of course, that's of this year, 2025.
