Analytic Dreamz examines its organic rise from personal track to global phenomenon, including 13× Platinum RIAA Latin certification, multi-platinum status in Spain, Italy and Portugal, over 2.55 billion Spotify streams by mid-2026, 2 billion-plus YouTube views, and its status as a top Spanish-language streaming record. The discussion covers chart achievements, cultural significance, Ocean’s songwriting process shared at Billboard Latin Music Week 2025, and the song’s enduring daily streams nearly a decade later.Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Ladies and gentlemen you already know over here at notorious Mass Effect we get into the gaming and
music IPs that notoriously affect the masses it's safe to say for this particular
segment the artist I'm about to talk about when I say his name you already know the track
that we're about to get into as of course for this particular segment we're getting into
Danny Ocean and if you don't know the particular track that we're getting to
objectively speaking is the first ever Latin solo track to pass one billion Spotify streams.
Now, of course, after that respectful moment of silence, I just want to tell you, my sources is I made it up.
All right, my fault. I didn't make it up.
You know, objectively speaking, when you look at the sources, of course, it comes from Spotify newsroom and artist statements as quantifying this as.
the first Latin solo
track to pass one billion streams
as the particular track we're getting into
for this segment is
titled Me Rehuso, which is
of course once again the first
Latin solo artist track
to join the billions club. I mean, come on
now. That is insane.
Now, of course, I know you're probably thinking
when you look at the current landscape
of the Latin music field, of course
a lot of the top charting artists,
whether it's Nathan
in Vega, well, Neaton Vega, whether
is Lennymer Ramirez,
whether it's Junior
age, all of these artists who've talked about before.
Who else? We talked about Tito
Double P, of course. Can't forget the support
for my Tito double P fans out there.
You know, salute to y'all. But the main thing
when talking about the current landscape
of the Latin music field is
sometimes when you're looking at the charts,
certain charts percolate and you come
to realize, you say, hold up now.
I know that ain't who I think it is. Is this a track?
from September, is this a track that was released, September 16th, 2016, and currently in the year of
26th, is at the 17th most played track in Mexico? Ladies and gentlemen, yes it is. As that's exactly
what Me Rehuzzo was at currently. And with Danny Ocean having such a notorious mass affecting
track like Me Rehuzo and the rise of his career in general being an independent, if you
If you don't know, looking at the music industry right now, the main marketing factors
is put behind a lot of major label artists, which is why when you look at the music market share,
UMG currently has 66% of the entire music market share.
Sony Music Entertainment has 21% and of course Warner.
They have 10%.
And others, which is smaller labels and independent acts, they have a whopping 3%.
you guys see that's the problem so whenever getting into danny ocean and talking about his independent run as far as from 2009 to 2015 and of course diving into electronic production and when using youtube slash soundcloud as the marketing factors when it came to 2015 that is when he started to emigrate to miami and then february slash september of 2016 he uploads me
Rehuzzo, which basically that's the timeline of it slowly going viral on the Spotify charts
and then the rest was history, ladies and gentlemen.
As the bidding war ensued and you come to realize, whenever you have an independent wave
and supporters that respect the content that you make, safe to say, major labels just come out of the
woodworks, don't they?
They say they always believed in you.
You start to say to you so.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
I don't think they did.
You know what I'm saying?
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
I think whenever major labels reach out to you,
especially if it's a major label bidding war,
they already acknowledge the independent wave that you have.
And of course, they could expound upon that specific wave.
But whenever you have a independent wave to where you don't need the major labels
or you'll find without them,
safe to say you have a lot more leverage when it comes to major label
bidding wars and that's exactly what danny ocean has or had as mid-2017 he signed to atlantic uh more
specifically more specifically the subsidiary of red wine records LLC so if you don't know when you
look at red wine specifically they are not like the biggest subsidiary but of course they are a part
of warner music group once again going back to i was saying earlier they currently have as far as
Warner totally they have 10% of the music market here but when you look at red wine specifically
of course me rehuso is by far the best performer track offer that subsidiary so usually when you
look at major labels like UMG Sony Warner etc that does not mean all artists are under one umbrella
that's like saying every player is well technically they are under the NBA but I wanted to use the
analogy of people thinking that the teams are actually the NBA like no the NBA is one thing
and then you have multiple different teams that fall under that organization that's how
UMG Sony and Warner is set up so think of the NBA as Sony UMG Warner right and the teams
is the different subsidiaries that's under that overall umbrella so it's very important that you
sign to the right subsidiary not only the major label
signed to the right major label, but of course the right subsidiary, as that could be a very
important factor going into your career. And especially when you look at Danny Ocean, he does
have recent releases. Now, of course, I think Miri Huso, by far, is going to be his best
performing track for quite some time, maybe his lifetime. I'm not trying to be disrespectful.
But once again, we are getting into the first Latin solo track to ever pass one billion Spotify
streams. So this track was very much ahead of its time.
and still, to this day,
racking up all type of streams.
As once again,
it's the 17th most played
track in Mexico as of today.
For the people watching it in the future,
it's August 13, 2026.
So anyways,
when you look at Danny Ocean,
he does have recent music.
As if you didn't know,
he had a track that was attached
to the FIFA World Cup.
Of course, that just finished.
And that came out July 15th.
It was titled Lego.
I think it's Lego.
Yeah.
It's L-L-E-O.
So I'm pretty sure it's Lego.
And that also had other artists like Empire of the Sun.
And then that was this.
So Empire of the Sun and Danny Ocean came together for that track Lego.
And then of course, when you look at Me Rehuzzo specifically, you probably take it to yourself.
But what was the subject matter that made everybody enjoy the track so much?
Well, I'm glad you asked.
You know what I'm saying?
You guys.
You know, as far as that particular question, safe to say, I, you know, a little side tangent.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show.
track. And you already know
my listening playlist
is public. So on my link tree at the bottom
I do not cap in my rap. All the music
that I'm listening to this year is on
that playlist. At the bottom of my link tree, it says
music I'm listening to. There's no cap of my
rap as I added this track to my playlist
because I thoroughly enjoy it.
I enjoyed it. And when it comes to me
listening to different genres, especially
if I don't know the language, usually for me,
I listen for the structure of the track,
sonically is it pleasing. And then of course,
after those two things
passes my personal benchmarks
then I get into the actual meaning of the track
after speaking in the language I don't understand
and so that's where we are
so when it comes to the meaning of Miri Huso
basically
Danny Ocean originally wrote the song
as a Valentine's Day gift for a girlfriend
awall you guys
you guys isn't that so beautiful
so then
his girlfriend
remained in Venezuela
while Danny was living in Miami.
Remember the timeline that I gave at the beginning.
So, of course, the song became deeply connected to his experience of migration,
separation, love, and leaving Venezuela.
And then, of course, Danny said he initially had no way to send his girlfriend a conventional gift.
So he wrote her a song.
Now, you know, that's just...
But then, you know what I'm saying?
You can't write it better than that.
You know what I'm saying?
Goodness gracious, man.
man what are the Disney channel writers when you need them all right my fault so with that being said
it the track me rehuso spread organically through Spotify playlist of course eventually becoming
the first independent release to chart across Spotify's Latin American markets so of course
when you look at the meaning of me Rehuzzo when you look at the overall rise to fame independently
from Danny Ocean to the major label bidding war that happened in 2016, no, 2017, mid-2017,
that had Danny ended up signing, he ended up choosing Warner, more specifically Red Wine Records.
You come to realize that this particular track is just not only ahead of his time, but another,
another evidential occurrence as far as what it looks like to have a timeless track.
2016 was a decade ago.
And that track is still one of the most streamed songs of today.
And it's 2026.
So that is why usually when you look at different entertainment mediums, a lot of people
love to talk about whether it's video games, TVs, movies, books, etc.
But in my opinion, especially the emotions that it invokes and the timeless nature of it, I believe music is more timeless, especially if it's high quality than any other entertainment medium, whether it's movies, TV shows, etc.
Now, of course, I'm open to being wrong because, you know, back in the day, they didn't have the recording equipment we have now.
But, you know, in the future, they're going to look at this recording equipment.
They'd be like, hey, that was archaic.
You know what I'm saying?
We might as well been back in the olden days and live plays and stuff.
You know what I'm saying?
All right, my fault.
Let me get back on topic.
So to finish this off, the main thing I want to talk about,
the main thing I want to highlight is once again,
this is the first time that we've ever covered Danny Ocean.
And it's been an honor covering him because this is the epitome of notorious mass effect.
The first ever Latin solo track, the past one billion Spotify streams,
means not only did you have a notorious mass effect,
but you was one of the trailblazers for future.
Latin artists because nobody knows it's possible until it's done and with Danny
Ocean and his track me Rehuzzo that's exactly what he did so that being said
click my link sure in my bio to follow me on my social media's and of course if you're on
Spotify if you're a huge Danny Ocean fan what is your favorite track for him aside
for me Rehuzzo and why
