This may be the greatest duo since Shaq and Kobe.
Because honestly, when coming to music,
you would not think that two UK artists will be running the charts like this.
Maybe the greatest duo since Jay Z and Kanye,
since MJ and himself.
No, I'll just play.
That doesn't make sense.
But I get what I'm saying.
Since Drake and Future, since Lil Nas X and B.
Billy Ray Cyrus, this may be one of the greatest duos in hip hop history.
Simply for the fact that Dave and Century C take the craft so seriously to the point,
they're giving us double triple entendres in their tracks that would make you laugh out loud.
Now, I can't just say that and not give y'all something that they be cooking.
Hold on a second.
I can't just say that and not give y'all some lyrics.
that they be saying in their tracks, right?
So this is what we're going to do.
I'm going to pull up some of these lyrics
and y'all let me know what y'all, what this means.
Because at this point,
I don't think y'all really,
I don't think y'all really hearing them.
I don't think y'all really hearing
two of one of the greatest lyricists
to ever grace of mic.
And obviously I'm joking,
but, you know, it comes to a point
where I'm not joking as much with these guys
because they can really rap.
Like, they can actually rap on a level
that's, like, insane.
And the song is,
literally titled UK rap.
I'm probably going to title this segment,
the album that they put out just titled Split Decision,
but I have to quote some lyrics from UK rap.
So if you will, turn with me to UK rap by Dave and Citracy and Genius.
And it reads,
She don't listen to UK rap if it ain't Dave or Cinch.
I don't know who Cinch is, but I'm just going to infer.
That is the abbreviation to Central C.
All right, let's keep going.
She is six, but her friend is a four.
A three way, going to make that a 10.
Are you sure you want to make that wife?
Okay, that doesn't make sense.
Let me read this again.
She has six, but her friend is a four.
A three way, going to make that 10.
I kid you not
I read that two times
I still don't understand
don't tell me
that Central C
and Dave
as successful as they are
as many
plaques as they ran up together
is out here settling
for six and fours
because that is not good math
my brother
that's just that's just not
going to cut it man
it's not going to cut it
like you can't add them up
that's not how
that's just
it's not really
what you know
that's not what they mean
when they anyways
let's just
Let them figure that out.
Anyway, let's keep going.
Let's get to Dave's verse, right?
So Dave comes on a track,
splitting his double, triple entendantias.
And this man said,
the mandam, you know,
they love to say mandam.
Like, there's one thing about UK rappers.
They're going to say mandam
and they're going to say something about,
you know,
I ain't even going to make jokes
because 21 Savage may get me.
But anyways, let's keep going.
The mandam think I'm tapped.
Two of the same car in a different color way.
Can't turn no expedite to a housewife.
more time just do it the other way if i ask her to send me a foot picture
what all right i'm not quoting this number yeah i get the point these dudes will make you laugh
out loud with the type of lyrics they be they be throwing at you so uh dave and central c they was
running up the charts and they ended up having sprinter which is one of the tracks off of the
ep reaching uk charts number one overall so it's the first number one um at central c's
No, no, it's Central C's first, number one.
You know, Dave been doing this UK rap.
So is Dave's third UK number one.
And I believe Dave did a track with Drake.
I think it was titled Wanna Know.
I may be mistaken because I didn't look this up.
But I think it's called One of No.
And if it is, that track is straight fire.
But anyways, let's keep going.
So Sprinter makes the first collaboration between Dave and Central C.
and boy was it a good one
as they reached number
they reached number one
on the UK charts
which you know to them
it's probably the biggest thing ever
in America I don't know where it reached
but in UK it said they reached number one
and let me see
they said in the U.S.
They even tell me what the U.S.
reached okay that's interesting
anyways
reached number one on the UK charts
and basically the EP is titled
Split to Seasons
decision if you just wanted to look it up yourself and Dave and Central C is just given double
triple entendres that will make you laugh out loud like that's just probably the best description
I can give and it's not make you laugh out loud in the bad way as Dave and Central C is one of those
type of figures in the UK rap scene where they're definitely the best of their craft from where
they're from and obviously I'm saying that because of the exposure of them and the popularity
but also when the lyricism is attached to it is a pretty hard title to tell you
take away from them as the best rappers in UK and maybe in UK history.
So click my link to my bio.
Let me know in one of my social media is.
