Starting point is 00:00:00 Anything past 24 hours is a shot clock violation. What's the current situation? This is a PG podcast. So we're just going to say, gentlemen, just click baiting. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Joey said this on his latest outing as far as this disc track Crash Dummy. And the span of Crash Dummy Daylight has. came out and gave track after track after track to the point where I believe this latest track in credits is the complete bow on top that we've received as far as the West versus East Coast because if you think about it who besides Kendrick would Joey respect in a rap battle I believe the way that Joey was flipping light time and time again in a phenomenal fashion mind you as far as the red bull spiral freestyle he was pinpointing daylight as the other competitor that will also hold the the legacy and the standings to go at him if it wasn't going to be kendrick
Starting point is 00:01:18 so for daylight to come out twice after joey said it's a 24 second shot clock violation and let me see let me get this right so he said i'm taking all the shots now that's a another one. Anything past 24 hours is a shot clock violation. Right. So he kind of shot himself in the foot because ladies and gentlemen, daylight responded to that track where it was born. And essentially 24 hours after he's responding with the disc track titled in credits. And to build upon that, unlike Daylight's earlier disc tracks, essentially this one is starting to let people know that the battle is over and is seen as a overall capstone for this beef. Now, of course, if this is the end, I believe that Joey would have to accept that
Starting point is 00:02:13 it's the end because if he responds, guess what? The beef is still going. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? The Mac, if you don't know, I'm live currently. So for people listening on my podcast and confused, I'm currently live. So the Mac said
Starting point is 00:02:30 He's not going to respond Until he starts dropping music again I'm not going to lie to you Those are two he's I don't know who you're talking about I'm thinking you're saying Joey's not going to respond to Who starts dropping again
Starting point is 00:02:44 Like I need the he's to be named But yeah so once you name those I'll be able to respond to that So for people listening on Whatever platform you listen to podcasts on If you're confused I'm live currently You can click my link tree to see The platforms I go live on as far as Twitch
Starting point is 00:02:58 kick Twitter, Twitch and Facebook. Hopefully I didn't say any platform twice. But just type of analytic dreams with a Z and the sure pop up. So anyways, Keisha says, I think daylight is bowing out on some respect because the Ray Vaughn disses were starting to bring out false rumors, probably got too much respect for Joey.
Starting point is 00:03:17 See, that's another thing. A lot of people were talking about Ray Vaughan's, I think it was the golden eye disc track you're referring to. I believe that was a huge misstep because i ain't going to lie to you how long is that track that track let me see rayvonne golden eye let me see rayvon golden eye is three minutes and 27 seconds ladies and gentlemen when i tell you he spent more than half of that literally just saying that diddy and joey was doing you know what you guys see that's the problem that was literally what was going on as far as
Starting point is 00:03:56 the entirety of that subject matter, which is why I consistently say, I believe the best track in this entire beef was from Ray Vaughn, but it definitely wasn't Golden Eye. I believe the error track is the PG podcast, PG livestream, depending on when you see this. I believe the ultimate disc track was created by Ray Vaughn and the error track because he really encapsitated what it meant to be from L.I. uh to ally what it meant uh to be from la the mac said golden i a misstep you bugging and that's crazy he said i'm bugging for saying that golden i was a misstep i ain't going to lie to you
Starting point is 00:04:36 false allegations when you're bringing in ditty makes no sense if you're going to continue that rhetoric and have nothing to back it up with it'd be different if he said in one bar two bars but the mac when i so responding to the mac when i tell you that if he would have had actual proof and just saying oh we seen you with ditty then you know we would have gave him more credence but he had nothing to back it up he was just saying false allegations and we already saw with side seven the way that he was able to run with that and it'd be okay but for this one it's not the same because you're involving ditty a lot of people's been seen with ditty so we're like okay so uh that means everybody been doing freaky activity with ditty if they just seen in the picture with them so anyways
Starting point is 00:05:16 that's why i call it a misstep but anyways getting back into this uh end credits track right this seems to be more of a capstone of the beef for daylight either daylight is done wrapping back towards joey or maybe they've came to a common ground and said that this is the finale of the the uh dis war that's been going on and the reason why i call it a war because you have think about joey's taken on and obviously other east coast rappers have came out like uh cj i believe but anyways Joey's been going at West Coast rappers like Daylight Reason Ray Vaughn
Starting point is 00:05:51 A Z Chike Which you know The pronunciation of that name is still under review But you know It'd be like that Um The Mac said False allegations have literally lived in hip hop
Starting point is 00:06:02 battles since the beginning of it No you're right I ain't alive As far as false allegations That's definitely a thing When it comes to disc battles But at least have some type of Evidence to go along with it
Starting point is 00:06:14 Like he was just saying the craziest things and think he was going to believe it. Like, you know, when Kendrick did it, you know, Drake's my favorite rapper. So when Kendrake's just, no, no, that's forever his name. I ain't a lot to you. This is a PG podcast, so I can't say what she said. But, you know, let's just say the mispronunciation of A. Z. Chike's name is one of the most hilarious things to come out of this war. So anyways, when Kendrick had the false allegations towards Drake, people forget.
Starting point is 00:06:44 get his first ever disc track towards drake besides the like the like that because that wasn't really going crazy but uh his first distract towards drake was euphoria and you look at all the releases up to uh not like us he had a consistent pattern with things he was pointing at as far as evidence ray vaughn is just saying these blatant oh your picture with ditty so you must be doing crazy things you know how many people have a picture with ditty you know what i'm saying so so you're talking about pach we're talking about kendry but at this point kendry put out way better dis than pock and Hey, don't kill me, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Like, what's going on? If y'all think I'm on Drake's side, then y'all got to understand that I do believe Kendrick put out the best hip-hop disc track of all time. Had to give us some silence for that, because I ain't going to lie to you. What Park did is not the same as what Kendrick did. Kendrick meticulously crafted an entire perception throughout every single disc track. Euphoria leading up to not like us. I mean, he literally had the roadmap.
Starting point is 00:07:45 It's like he was looking at the roadmap. He said, I'm going to start here. I'm going in here. Euphoria. Y'all know Drake produces, executive produces, the Zendaya show, where she stars on Euphoria that has a bunch of high schoolers, right? And the instances that Drake has had in the past, I'm not trying to lose my OVO card, but let's just say, I've covered it.
Starting point is 00:08:02 If you want to see my coverage of Kendrick and Drake, just look up Kendrick Analytic Dreams with his dean. You see all my coverage of his tracks. But anyways, he had a lot of instances where it was like actual video evidence. So if Ray Vaughn's not coming with actual video evidence, then yes, golden eye is in this step. Anyways, with that being said, this track is more of a respectful closure as far as end credits by daylight. And at the end of the day, when it comes to this West Coast versus East Coast, obviously the Knicks just lost, you know, pour one out for the Knicks. I'm a Kyrie fan.
Starting point is 00:08:34 So I could care less who wins. My favorite play was in the finals last year. So, you know, I'm satisfied. I think ultimately, this was just a. sparring of words and where daylight could have took it when he first put out the picture of capital stees and people thought he was going at certain self-transition um ideology for his next disc track and then it ended up not being about capital stees even though it was about a certain l-a rapper i don't know how he feels about that one like ab so probably thinking like hold up
Starting point is 00:09:04 is he going at me like at some point if abs so put out a distract i wouldn't be mad at him but anyways um him basically counteracting that with word is bond making a whole entire tribute for capital steeds and then at the end of the day in credit in credit seems to be the concluding track in this west versus east coast battle so with that being said if joey responds then it's not over but if joey doesn't respond then this may be the final track in the entire west versus east coast war so we'll have to see if this is the final word of the overall battle people are calling for kendrick to come out of the woodworks to respond to joey and by people i mean me right so if that happens then the beef is back on but as of right now for the foreseeable future it seems like the east and west
Starting point is 00:09:58 rivalry as far as rap being considered has been put on hold with this track in credits by daylight so that being said click my link to my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about daylight's track in credit and do you believe that this is the finale in the west versus east coast rap war
