Starting point is 00:00:03 Now who can keep up with all of these dish tracks because let me tell you something. One by one, Joey seems to be making these West Coast artists mad. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? It almost makes me go back to the boondocks mean. Because what did Joey do to make these people so mad? Well, if you don't know, I actually had an entire list up as far as what the
Starting point is 00:00:33 battle currently consists of and let me see if I can pull this up right here all right it's gonna be a double time you know when people react to their own videos so you're gonna see me twice but just know I just pull this up so I could show you the full list hopefully y'all can see this hopefully it's close enough um but as you can see this is the full list we're missing I think we're missing okay so my town is there so we're only missing the uh the crash dummy which I've already covered that you know go to my platform notorious mass effect on whatever platform you list the podcast on to listen to that review but we're missing joey and his track uh crash dummies and of course
Starting point is 00:01:10 currently the daylight track word is bond and now at first glance you would think that this is the ultimate dis towards joey but then you come to realize this is an entire this is a pivotal move in a dis battle i don't think we've ever seen anything like this because if you think about it daylight is the first one to bring up capital stees in a negative manner right as far as posting and people picture about him after Joey put out his disc track, which led a lot of people to believe that Daylight was seemingly going to mock how Capital Steve, trigger warning, self-transitioned, and we thought he was going to make that the emphasis of his next disc. But ultimately, with this latest track, which is currently, and you know, they're dropping
Starting point is 00:01:57 disc tracks a mile a minute, so it could change. But currently, Daylight basically put out a tribute track. to capital c's yes ladies gentlemen you heard me correctly the same man the same man that came out and basically put up a post of capital c's insinuating certain heinous things but then ended up deleting that post and then after the fact talked about and i think it was either a yo or word to my mother i can't keep all these this tracks but um actually let me just pull it up because y'all y'all don't understand the way that daylight been going um daylight a yo this I think it's the AEO track.
Starting point is 00:02:35 It's either this one or the word to my mother. The word to my mother is so crazy. Like New York people really be saying that? Let me chill before the New York people get on me. All right. So Daylight AEO, let me see. Okay, it's not this one. It has to be word to my mother.
Starting point is 00:02:50 So let me see. Word. You know, type it is in. Word to my. You know, these people, this. Him making all his disc tracks, the titles, like, off of New York slang is beyond hilarious. I ain't allowed to you.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Okay. So is that. night okay that's not how you spell bridges i'm tripping oh okay here it is okay so it is yeah so it is the word in my mother track here we go all right so right here um analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio but anyways um daylight said if the world knew what censored knew about you they'd jump off and trigger warning once more but talking about hip hop and disc track so i shouldn't have to say trigger warning too many times these people take it to hell on earth so anyways daylight said if the world knew what censored knew about you
Starting point is 00:03:35 you they'd jump off a bridge too and that's just like i already broke it down right let's see what genius has to say about this genius says on the surfaces line appears to be referencing rapper capital stees founder of pro era alongside joey who ultimately passed away on 2012 by jumping from the roof of the cinematic music group headquarters and then it keeps on going saying however on the song word is bond he clarifies that the line was not referencing stees but t dee rapper episode which i literally said and my coverage of daylight uh word to my mother track which if you type in daylight analytic dreams with the z you'll see all my coverage of his past this tracks i literally said because of the jumping off a bridge with joey doing the red bull freestyle with ab sold that that could be applicable to him
Starting point is 00:04:18 and lo and behold i'm right once again ain't that crazy then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on so anyways um however the song on word is bond he clarifies that the line was not referencing stees but t dee rapper ab sold who appear who appeared alongside both daylight and joey in the music videos throughout their beef soul attempted to self-transitioned by jumping off of a bridge after finishing his 22 album herbert what type of name daylight insinuates that soul has some information on joey that could be incredibly damaging if made public so of course that's where i lead into this latest this track and of course i'm live currently and the reason why i'm saying that's as because kieisha i don't know why i'm acting like i can't pronounce that my fault keesha graham said the end by daylight as well is that like a track from from daylight since i'm doing this live if you comment something that's on topic i'm just going to respond to it in real time uh the end by daylight as well i don't know what you mean about that is a track from daylight anyways let's keep
Starting point is 00:05:23 going so word is bond right is a complete tribute track to capital stees which we already talked about and the word to my mother track people was already thinking daylight was going to going to take it to a heinous level as far as dissing capital c's in well ultimately that would end up being collateral damage because of him going at joey but we'll be uh figured a new track he just he just released that okay kisha did he release that after this track or it couldn't have came out before this track let me see because you know we try to keep this up to date let me see daylight um see for the people watching after on my podcast just know i do go live just click my link to my bio to see my live platforms can i go live on kick twitter youtube twitch and of course facebook
Starting point is 00:06:09 i know you i know what you're probably thinking facebook but yeah i go live on facebook too shout to the people supporting on facebook anyways uh keisha said in credits he just released you know what that is actually insane do y'all know this man okay so that was three hours ago so this man daylight has released three disc tracks in one day but then you know what i'm saying i was like tis Like three disc tracks and one day is insanity. In the span of 24 hours, this man Daylight put out Ayo, word is bond and credits. What in the world is going on with him? Okay, so Keisha, after this, I'm gonna get into that track specifically, but I want to get back into the Capital Stees because I don't want to pay tribute to how Daylight made a pretty interesting turn and like just giving a whole track in the midst of a disc battle honoring Capital Stees.
Starting point is 00:07:02 So anyways, Daylight Express in this track, word is born. Admiration for Stee's, right, contributing to hip-hop and pro-era collective with lyrics like, I wish Stee's was alive so he could see this expedive live. Hip-hop thriving, look what we did. I put my G's to the sky highlighting Daylight's respect and longing for Stee's presence in the current rap scene. Austin said, why would Kendrick respond? He has so far right now over six. you're talking about him responding to Joey.
Starting point is 00:07:34 He also said much love to the channel, though. Hey, I appreciate it. I appreciate you checking out the live stream and also make sure to check out my podcast, Notorious Mass Effect, because of course I break down the gaming and music industry. So with that being said, I do believe Kendrick, at a certain point, should respond to Joey. I think he's drummed up enough engagement. But as far as objectively speaking, because, you know, I do get into the analytics over here. Kendrick is having currently one of the greatest music shows in 2025.
Starting point is 00:08:02 if not the greatest having kendrick and scissor on one ticket it is an expensive ticket but it's probably one of the more valuable tickets for your dollar that you could go that you could spend as far as going to see artists perform the music because they really take their live performance seriously so anyways finishing with this track right daylight clarifies at the controversial bar about the bridge in this earlier track where to my mother was not aimed at stees but ab soul another t dee artist involved in the beef and this clarification addresses backlash from fans who found references to Steve's self-transition, right? And the reason why I'm saying self-transition instead of other word, because, you know, I believe you get flagged for that. So, you know, got to be respectful.
Starting point is 00:08:44 So, yeah, ultimately, this was a complete U-turn. I don't know how end credit is going to, when I get into it credits, we're going to see how that goes. But right now, daylight in the midst of word is bond is making a complete U-turn in the midst of the feud. because if you don't know it's literally like west coast versus east coast like i believe somebody from a j j fly came out and he's on the east coast side so it's not just joey versus all the west coast rappers like even oh it's not just joey versus all the west coast rappers even some of the rappers on the east coast is jumping out to hop in the midst of this battle so it's a lot to keep up with but if you're a hip-hop fanatic which i would call myself i believe that this is what you want for the sport of hip-hop because
Starting point is 00:09:26 i cover the billboards for a living for this podcast right Now, when I get into numbers, it's not because it's not indicative of quality level. Just because you sell a lot does not mean you're making the greatest quality in the world. But just because you don't sell anything doesn't mean you're making absolute garbage. The two don't correlate. Sometimes it does. But people get that misconstrued that just because something is popular is way better quality-wise than other music. So anyways, word of my, I mean, word is bond is a complete pivot from daylight.
Starting point is 00:09:58 and this is ultimately showcasing a huge respect for steves and hip-hop's legacy right and making that you turn in the midst of a beef when you released a yo word is born and then a track about to get too soon as far as in credits all in the span of 24 hours i mean this is just what hip-hop fanatics yearn for as far as looking for people to put respect on lyrical prowess and showcasing in this combative sport, showcasing your respect to the craft to combat with another rapper while also keeping it respectful. Because him coming out with Word is Bomb being a complete tribute track for Capital Stees as a complete U-turn from what we thought he was talking about as far as jumping off a bridge when it comes to his bars and word to my mother. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about Daylight's track? word is bond what do you think about his complete U-turn and just highlighting the legacy of capital stees and do you think this is a pivotal moment as far as what could happen in the midst of a rap battle
