The single was written by Doja Cat, Y2K, and Rogét Chahayed. The latter two artists produced Doja Cat’s last solo single was 2022’s “Vegas,” a track that appeared on the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s film Elvis. After seemingly denouncing her pop star status for more of a hip-hop rap-centric style, Doja Cat is back again with a new single titled Attention. Now, the last time we saw Doja Cat in 2023 was when she had a remix for Kill Bill, which I would say to this day is probably one of the better verses of 2023. As far as this year specifically, this is contention for verse of the year, and I'm being so serious when I say that as if you listen to the subject matter from start to finish the double triple entendres combined with an actual story that made sense. I think that Doja Cat delivered one of the better verses of 2023 and were six months in. So you already know that in general, I do believe that this is a heavy candidate for one of the better verses of 2023.

But now she's back with her own single titled Attention. So it wouldn't be, it wouldn't take a Sherlock Holmes to figure out what Doja Cat is wanting. As if you do remember, she was definitely saying her last album was more of a pop money grab. And because of that pop style, it was a money grab. She said she didn't really enjoy it. But let me tell you something that Dojicat, I don't know what it is about her as an artist. but I really enjoyed playing it her and I felt like Hot Pink was a pretty quality driven album

and I think whenever Docher Cat puts out another album I would probably thoroughly enjoy it. I don't know what it is about her style the way she's able to switch it up, her different ranges she has as far as her vocal inflection the way that she raps, the way she sings. I think she's just an overall phenomenal artist in the game of hip-hop

and the game definitely needs her as her voice is very distinct and doesn't just blend in with others, which if you think about it is a very big deal when all of these hip-hop artists are trying to sound like another hip-hop artist just to blow up. So Dojo Cat definitely has her own unique style, and even with her last album and planning her, which peaked at number two on the Billboard Top 100 album charts,

and also her track, the tracks that was a hit offer of that album, was Need to Know Woman, which if you haven't heard Woman by Doja Cat, just straightfire. And then also get into it, which is called Like, get into it. Like literally, that's the title. It's just Get Into It. So if you looked at it, that's definitely the three standouts off of her last album, which came out in 2021. So now it's 2023. We're due for another Doja Cat album.

And I think with this new single titled Attention, she's a little. about it give us just that as I think Doja Cat is one of the more talented artists that we have in the game and I don't think I don't just say that about any artists I feel like overall from an artistry perspective doja cat from the look to the music appeal to the fashion to the overall personality I think she's just overall a superstar in the game that the game needs and she proved that again with attention and she will prove that once more Furthermore, when the actual album comes out.
