Starting point is 00:00:00 in this in this period we've never been allowed to see it we've never been allowed to say deers jesus and azimuth we've never even though it says like you know skin the color of burnt brass and hear the texture of lambs wall this movie's not about about color but i do think that that it's fear and only right for us to at least have one of these films set in this era that we can see ourselves in. Yeah? I'll conclude. Any last words from the Black God?
Starting point is 00:00:39 You told me in the back. You said my voice is hard, so I'm going to be brief. It's cold, man. PC-G-O-Steem. There ain't no love. So if you don't know, that was, of course, the one and only, Sean Carter, aka AJZ.
Starting point is 00:00:59 And then the one that only, if I could get his name right, I'm trying not to mispronounce his name because, of course, it's James Samuel. There we go. James Samuel? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I'll probably still mispronounce it. But anyways, I listened to the interview that he had on a breakfast club, probably one of the best interviews that I've heard as far as given your points and elicuting it in a way that is very concise, but also packs a lot of substance, if that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Like he gave a very dense interview when it comes to information for the film, showcasing his knowledge as a creator, and also engaging you while doing it. Because sometimes the director would be talking and be like, oh, yeah, this wide shot we had to get and then we had to shoot from right here from this angle.
Starting point is 00:01:55 don't care about all that almost like sometimes when people talk about the film i fall asleep for james samuel hopefully i said it right he definitely did not disappoint with his breakfast club interview and it's not even that long it's like 40 plus minutes or something like that but anyways we're here to talk about music but simply for the fact that the soundtrack is based off the movie i had to give that little tidbit and i saw the movie but i'm not giving my review because i still have to think about it because there's so many deep things going on throughout the movie that you kind of need time to actually give a review. So all I'm going to say is I really enjoyed the movie and let's just say it's either you hate it or you love it. I don't think there's going to be an in-between,
Starting point is 00:02:41 especially with the subject matter in the way they attacked it. So I mean, you know, speaking on spirituality of course. So anyways, this is a star-studied track list as you can see right here for the Book of Clarence. We have Little Wayne, Dojicad, Kodak, JZ himself, Kid Cuddy. So basically, you get so much in a short offering that now when you look at Kid Cuddy, when you look at Dojicat, Little Wayne, JZ, all helping out this soundtrack, it just shapes up to be something that's a little more special because people are putting forth effort. This track specifically, Gizu by Dojik and Kodak Black Track 3 on the book of Clarence. Basically, they are displaying a level of lyricism that not all artists can do.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Listen to the track and you don't know exactly what I'm talking about. Literally, this track was so good because I listened to this track. This track was so good, especially after the third or fourth time I played it, that obviously is early in the year. but technically right now is one of my favorite songs of the year as dojiket was giving a masterful display of lyricism i mean if you heard me if you already heard the way i talk about my top five rappers of twenty twenty three then you already know that dojikat is just one of the best when it comes to putting words together and it's just no except this track is no exception and also um
Starting point is 00:04:13 just expounds my point on why i think that so anyways for the biggest I'm not going to say movie, but for one of the biggest movies that I think will happen in 2024 as far as just the ideology, the imagery, I think that this is a fitting soundtrack. And for Jay-Z to come through with the whole Rock Nation management and give this whole soundtrack life as far as a promotion aspect and just also attaching his name as a producer, I think will carry this film into heights that is never seen as far as, the director and especially the actor um attaching himself well the lead actor in it i definitely forgot name but i'm no i'm no movie critic what's his name lekeith stanfield i think anyways so with that
Starting point is 00:05:04 being said click my link sure in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about the soundtrack for the book of clarence and also if you've seen the movie do you think the movie was good did you love the movie or did you hate it Thank you.
