So Doja Cat has a new single titled Paint the Town Red.
And let me tell you something.
I don't know who is behind Doja Cat as far as her team, PR, label.
Somebody needs to tell her that is the worst idea in the world to literally insult and turn on your fan base.
and the way that you're saying that
I let all that get to my head
I don't care, I paint the town red,
seemingly dissing your fan base once again,
I don't understand.
Like, it's a very interesting tactic.
I don't even think it is a marketing tactic
to go directly at your fan base.
Like the last time I've seen an artist pull a stunt like this
is when Offset, of course,
is battling with the Cardi B fandom
when they split because of,
Offset, you know, cheating on Cardi.
So this is very interesting.
I don't feel like this ever will end up well for any particular artist to go at their fan base.
Because if you don't even know what I'm talking about, July 2020, I believe, no, 2023, Doja Cat went on a Twitter rant in which she called her hardcore fans creepy and told them to get a job.
Imagine telling your fan base to get a job.
The people who support you to give you what you currently have,
you tell them to get a job and that they're creepy.
And basically, the rant came after her fans criticized her,
deservedly so, for being in a romantic relationship with Noah Cyrus.
So even I don't know if it was Noah Jay Cyrus, musician Jay Cyrus, I believe.
yeah j cyrus i don't know if that's nowhere or if i'm tripping but basically a lot of her fans had
understandable frustration with dojicat because of the several allegations of grooming and sexual
misconduct against j cyrus and basically that made doja mad and you know she told them to get a job
that they're creepy.
So after that happened,
she blocked several of her
like stand accounts, which if you don't know,
stand accounts are really important for musicians.
That's why Nikki embraces her barbs
the way that she does.
She realizes that her stand accounts
are very much
are very important
when it comes to promoting
anything that's Nikki related.
Stand accounts are one of the biggest
promotion tools to make things look
organic.
And for Doja Cat to block
literally
I'm not going to say all of them but most of her
stand accounts
and one person
came out and tweeted that Doja Cat blocked me earlier
this month then DM me this
she thinks I was trolling her
Predator boyfriend's live stream and reported me to
cybersecurity
so obviously
it's like
it's like war on Doja
and her fans as this is
the craziest thing I've seen in a while
she responded
to the subject
basically
saying that
she didn't care
what people thought
about her personal life
so obviously
we've had
I don't even know if the word is right
but we've had inclinations in the past
where Doja has been seen
on live streams
is all I'm going to say
with a certain group of people
that looked a little off
considering
where she comes from
That's where I'm leaving it at.
So with Doja Cat going off on her fans for calling out her alleged groomer boyfriend and accused of abusing multiple women, allegedly, because it's saying in the article, but of course, I don't, like, I'm just alleged.
I'm just reading it off.
And for Doja to go so hard at her fan base to say, I would never care what you think about me or my person.
of life and good riddance honestly that part's not bad but basically the the whole part about
get a job and y'all are creepy that's a little that's a little uh far and directly going at your
fans is the thing that i don't really understand and one of the other doja cat doja cat stand accounts
came out and said oh let me put this on screen so i can see it um let me see one of doja cat's stand
account said my life i wanted to say basically she was trying to
one of her stand accounts was trying to have dojicad say like she loves them or whatever we just
want to know that you love us and dojicab basically say i don't because i don't even know y'all
it's just like if you think about it it's not the worst way to think because you don't know them
honestly but to your supporters how much you've received as far as benefits based off your
your supporters, this is wild.
And the stand account came like,
like responded back and basically said,
and we don't know you, which is like the perfect response.
Imagine supporting somebody you don't know for so long
just for them to turn around and be like,
I don't know you.
And then just like,
not care about what in the world,
like, it's like, like no, with no care in the world,
just say, like,
Like, I don't know you and y'all should probably, like, honestly, if Doja Cat fans want to set
a precedence, they should just stop supporting her.
That's what should happen.
Can I believe she lost social media followers, like 250,000, I believe.
Let me look this up.
I think so.
I feel like she did.
Because honestly, that's the steps you got to tell you.
Like, if she's going to just blatantly disrespect your, disrespect you like this,
like basically your stand account said, and we don't know you, but we have supported you
through thick and thin.
mind you you'd be nothing without us okay that's a little that's a little this this one
stand account is taking it's taking it up for the whole uh doja cat hive you'd be working at a grocery
store making songs on garage band miss high school drive oh wow she's going crazy that's wow
that's too much so i she already knew doja cat was gonna come back with the response doja cat
said nobody forced you i don't know why you're still talking to me like you're my mother
you sound like a crazy person.
I ain't gonna lie.
This back and forth for straight comedy.
Whoever, like,
whoever daily Taylor T is,
it seems like it's a Taylor stand.
It seems like a Taylor Swift stand account.
What in the world?
Anyways, this back and forth,
if you already know,
this was just spicy.
Like, the words being used here,
the places of the B word is just very,
very, uh,
critical hit right there.
I was,
nah,
Doja Cat came back with that response.
I don't even know why you're talking to me like you're my mother B word you sound like a crazy
Hey that's I guess that's how they be talking anyways
So let me take that out
So doja cat lost
250,000 followers on Instagram in the days following the rant
And she also lost a smaller number of followers on Twitter and TikTok
And of course
Doja Cat lost a followers is a reminder for most popular celebrities out there
not to turn on your fan base and tell them to get a job.
That's probably marketing 101.
Your supporters is like your shareholders.
You don't want to make them upset because now your stock's going to plummet.
All right.
And with that being said, that's all I got.
Doja Cat has a new single out titled Paint the Town Red.
And I do feel like in general she's one of those type of artists that could bounce back from it
because Doja Cat is very talented, which is probably why she's.
talking to it supporters like this she probably think she can't be she probably
think she's untouchable so we're gonna see what happens in the future so anyways uh click my
link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about dojicat and her
latest single titled paint the town red and do you believe that she's in the right or are her
friend or are her fans in the right in this whole situation
Thank you.
