Now don't you just love when all genres come together to make a phenomenal collaborative effort?
Because of course, that is the case with Don Tolliver, Speedy and Jay Hope, while also having production from the one and only, Pharrell Williams.
Now, of course, don't let Drake hear that because, of course, he's just going to talk about his chains that he took from Farrell.
But, you know, that's besides the point.
As Don Tolliver currently is riding high as his last project that initially, when did that project come out?
I think it came out around June, I believe.
Yeah, June 25th, 2024 is when Horace Stone cycle came out.
And essentially, that sold 77,000 first week,
which was basically his highest debut of his career as far as a project being considered.
So with that being into play,
you already realize that Don Tolliver is riding high.
Not only that, he currently has a track out that's the 79th most play track in the world.
that's titled No Pole
and that's been on the charts for about 15 weeks
and now he has a track titled
LV bag with J. Hope of BTS
yes ladies and gentlemen
Don Tolliver and Jay Hope from BTS
have a track together now of course
I've talked about BTS a numerous
amount of times especially when it comes
to junk cook
and when it comes to
what's the other one V
I think I've talked about V a good amount of times
Let me see
I just typed in V
Oh yeah V from BTS
I covered him a lot back in March of
24
And I initially covered him August 11th
2023 with his track
Love Me Again
Now of course with Jay Hope
I believe he had a track with
Germain
Back in March 3rd
223 titled On the Street
Which that track was solid
With that out the way
When it comes to BTS
If you don't know
know a lot of well I think two or three of the members are still serving mandatory military time so
that's why bt s is not together as a group but they do plan on joining back together to make
music as a group as the name bt s they're just basically split up right now because of mandatory
military service and what better way to keep the btas brand alive than just branch out have your
own solo career and then come back as a group with btas so with junk cook with v with johb and
I'm pretty sure there's a lot of others that I'm missing right now.
Actually, let me just type in there.
See all my coverage from BTS because we had Junkook.
Then we had BTS, J-Hope, V.
Oh, and then Jimmin.
I forgot about Jim.
I'll cover him back in December 22,
2023 with his track closer than this.
So as far as the successful,
the most successful individual run in the music industry,
I would have to say by far as Junk.
I mean, Junk could everybody in the Mamba
and try to hop on a track.
track. I mean, he had Lotto. He had Jack Harlow, I believe, at one point. Who else? Jay Cole made a track
with Jay Hope, so that wasn't Junk Cook. But you get what I'm saying? Like, Junkook was basically
running the charts for a minute, especially all the way back in, I think it was 2023. Yeah,
because he put out Golden. DeKeele Roy, Central Sea, a lot of just hip-hop musicians and pop musicians
was trying to jump on Junk's wave because he was going crazy.
back in 2023, really putting up some monumental numbers
that we haven't seen before from the K-pop community
since then.
So I'm not saying they can't replicate.
I'm just saying Junkuk was probably the most successful
in his individual career tenure than the other BTS members.
But besides that point, obviously the other members
has success as well,
or else these type of collabs wouldn't happen
because Don Tolliver is obviously doing great on the charts by himself.
So pairing up with Jay Hope can only lead to more exposure,
especially in the K-pop community where Jay Hope primarily puts up big numbers.
So with that being said, Jay Hope has made his comeback because he was first discharged from
the military back in October 24.
And his latest release, like I was saying, was Hope on the Street, Volume 1, March 24.
And with that being said, he has an upcoming solo tour titled Hope on the stage,
which kicks off February 28th through March 2nd.
and K-S-P-O-Dome-C-O, sold?
I think it's sold.
Anyways, and he has additional cities
where he'll be touring
in Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City,
San Antonio, Oakland, L.A.
Y'all get the point, right?
He's going to be everywhere.
So that's running from February 28th to March 2nd.
So the Army pre-sale tickets are already on sale,
and the general sale will happen
20 oh no actually it's not on sale okay the army pre-sell will happen tomorrow which is january 22nd
but the general cell will happen january 23rd so getting back to don tolliver i think this is just
an ultimate marketing strategy to gain more exposure especially having an overseas artist with the
mass the immense impact like j hope has and of course combining k-pop and hip-hop we've seen it work before
especially with junk and jack hollow with their track and of course with john cook the kill of rory
and Central C with their track too much.
We've just seen multiple times where this hip-hop, K-pop,
collab, has worked out many times,
especially John Cook Lotto 7.
I can keep going on and on.
I've covered this immensely,
basically I've covered this a lot.
So with that being said,
there's really not too much to get into with Don Tolliver.
I don't know what he's going to be up to besides after this track
because he's currently doing well on the charts.
This new track, I would assume would do well commercially.
and with already putting out an album last year back in June, 2024,
and having the highest debut of his career,
I'm pretty sure he's not rushing to put out another project.
So I won't just automatically run to assume this is a lead-up for another album,
but hey, you never know.
So with that being said, click my link to share in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Jay Hope at Don Tolliver's latest track, LV bag?
And if you listen to it, what was your favorite part of the song?
