There's not too many albums that I highly anticipate, but I will say that this is one of them because when it comes to melodies and the ability to impact multiple artists that you collab with on an artist side and as a person, like as a human side, then that makes me intrigued in your music making process.
and there's no up-and-coming artists that I'm more intrigued with his recording process than Don Tolliver
because the way that he puts his melodies together, the way that he stacks his vocals, the way that he uses reverb,
the way that he uses just phasers and just different autotunes on his voice and the way he comes in for adlibs.
Like I can keep, I can go on and on about the things that I do.
just noticed about Don Tolliver and his ability to make music.
And I don't know if it's the music making process or if it's just him being able to
create melodies from a unique perspective.
I'm going to bring this artist up and I'm not comparing it to.
But just melodies wise, Don Tolliver reminds me a lot of, I know people are going to kill me for this.
but Don Tolliver reminds me of Juice World when it comes to impacting tracks with your melodic performance.
Now, I know a lot of people will say probably Travis Scott Uzi is what Don Tolliver would compare for them.
But as far as the music making process, Don Tolliver has collabed with some out of the blue or just out of the left field like artists before.
I think he's collabed with Justin Bieber before.
More notorious, he collabed with Travis Scott.
of course um he collab there's another one there's so many for this album he collabed with whiz
kid which i'm gonna get into that specific track in a separate segment um and even on this album
he has a lot of different features so i guess we can just move right on along and and get into that
so basically this album titled love sick by don tawley don tulliver is 16th
tracks and this lineup includes with kid brent fias charlie wilson james blake um and some other people
no disrespect to them but you know hey i there's some other people on the track that i can't list off
every feature but uh basically those are the kind of the big ones and what i'm noticing is that
this album obviously i haven't listened to it yet so i could come back and be like it's trash
but I've heard the single with Lil Durk and Glorilla that was Fire.
I've heard the first track of the album.
I don't like reviewing music when I just listened to it.
Like as far as, well, no, that's definitely not.
I'll review music when I just listen to it all the time.
But I'm talking about albums.
I don't like reviewing albums when I just listen to it.
So I have to listen to the whole album to get to his vision for the first track.
Because if you listen to Asterold and just listen to the first track
and then try to give a review of where the album's going,
you can kind of get a glimpse of it, but you still have to finish the album, if that makes sense.
So I bring up AstroWorld for a reason, because Don Tolliver also attributed to the album.
But anyways, yeah, Don Tolliver is very, oh, no, no, Don Tolliver is immensely talented when it comes to melodic performance and the way that you stack your vocal chords on top of each other on top of each other with the addition to reverb.
because I would have to see who his producer is,
but it would not surprise me if Don Tolliver is one of those guys
who actually knows how to go in and get his voice to sound
the way that Don Tolliver usually sounds over a track.
And of course that's producer, engineer type territory,
so I'm not accusing any of the engineers that he's working with
to just be, you know, getting carried by Don Tolliver,
but I will say to Don Tolliver, I feel like it has a lot to do with his
his creation and how it comes about.
But anyways, all right, so 16 tracks, Justin Bieber and Future are also on this album.
A little dirk and L'Ollrilla, of course.
Callie, his girlfriend is Callie Uch, uh-uhchis.
I swear, I swear I'm not trying to be funny.
I don't not say that.
Callie Uchis, I don't know, I probably messed it up.
But anyways, his girlfriend, I don't know who that is.
but um he's going to hit the road with future on a one big party tour oh that's going to be
man that's going to be detrimental to his health that's all i'm going to say anyways um the album
is out now and uh there's a self-written short film which will stream exclusively on amazon prime
video starting today okay so there you go self-written short film on amazon prime if y'all got that you
I mean, if you don't, then I don't know how you, you know, getting your packages, but you know, that's besides the point.
What else?
Love Sick follows 2021 Life of a Don, which will, okay, they just throwing stats of me now.
Let me just look at it myself.
Okay, so let me go to Don Tolliver and his latest discography because for me, I feel like Don Tolliver hasn't put out an album in a while.
So if I go to his discography, he put out Life of a Dawn in 2021, and he put out Heaven or Hell in 2020, which I'm not going to lie.
Heaven or Hell is a classic album.
I will come out and say, Heaven or Hell is a classic album.
That track by Don Tolliver, Quavo, and Offset is probably one of my favorite tracks of all time.
Like Had Enough by Don Tolliver, Cuevo, and Offset is one of my favorite tracks.
of literally all time like probably top 10 and that's no exaggeration like the amount the amount of
times I've had that track on repeat I would just say that that's that's one of the best tracks
ever made like and that's why that's why I hold Don Tollivan in such high regard even comparing
him to juice world melodically of course not lyrically but um because I just really respect
his craft and the way he he puts his uh he puts his effort into the
effects man it's it's it's effects galore but it's not in a bad way it's not in a way that
you're just like oh he's just throwing auto tune together like he doesn't in a way that makes you
that makes you realize that this man is a master of his craft so um yeah that's all i really
wanted to get into um don tulliver is one of my favorite like artists as far as like new and up and
coming um i can't wait to dive into this album and listen to it over and over because you know with
the melodic artists that definitely give you something that you can repeat
on uh that you can put on repeat for forever so i'd definitely be giving uh this album a listen
uh and and with that click my link to in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you
think about this album love sick by don tolerant and will you be giving it a listen
