Starting point is 00:00:04 Fur in the bag of Yeah, well that shit probably... Yeah, we'll get it there after this. He probably gets some shit for that fur. Look, my God. You can get some shit for sure. Yo, bro, I'll see you tomorrow. Thank you, brother.
Starting point is 00:00:20 For real, this is crazy. Thank you, my brother. Love. I see you tomorrow. That's it? Yo, this is crazy. What? I grew up staring at this jacket.
Starting point is 00:00:35 This is fucked up. It's tall. Yeah, where's the hat? hat. Oh, this is the hat right here. This is the headband. I feel it.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Like, I can feel the, like, the beef. I feel like I hate gold right now. Now,
Starting point is 00:00:51 ladies and gentlemen, the goat has returned, and by I say, return, I mean, he gave us a whopping a hundred
Starting point is 00:00:59 gigabytes worth of content. Now I don't know about y'all. But as a true Drake's stand, this is like Christmas coming early.
Starting point is 00:01:13 To have this much content to break down, to dissect, to scour, to analyze, to see the behind the scenes of the go at work. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that.
Starting point is 00:01:41 All right, let's pause that. So anyways, that specific clip I was just playing analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But basically that was Drake receiving his Cameron worn pink jacket with the hat. And if you're wondering, well, you just saw it if you're looking at the analytic dreams video version. But let me bring it back up for y'all.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So right here, that's not it. Hold up. Right. Recently closed. didn't I just have it open? Oh, it's right here. I'm tripping. I ain't even closing it.
Starting point is 00:02:22 All right. All right. So right here is the hat and jacket I'm talking about. As you can tell, Drake is pretty happy to receive this gift from Cameron. And this is all, this is just a little piece of the 100 gigabytes worth of content that was just dropped on the Instagram account that I'm going to get to in a second. But look at this. I feel it. Like, I can feel the, like, the beast.
Starting point is 00:02:46 I feel like I hate both right now. like this behind the scenes is insane and to capitalize off of that i mean it's so many other moments in here like this one with his son basically so yeah basically it's just so much content in this account right here so it's plot twist basically and overall you just look at it you go through it and understanding that drake is the most successful hip-hop artist we've ever received in the history of hip hop you kind of garner an appreciation for this these type of drops because it shows the work it shows like the what's beneath the tip of the iceberg if you've ever heard that analogy like the tip of the iceberg is the success that everybody sees
Starting point is 00:03:56 and there's 100 gigabytes is basically everything that's beneath it that nobody sees right so this was released august 6th 2024 100 gigabytes like i said and the reason we keep saying 100 gigabytes is not because us drake stands winning and dissected every uh uh gig right is literally titled 100 gigs for your head top so pretty on the nose a lot of the tracks that's featured on this is it's up by uh well featuring 21 savage and young thug which that's a newer track housekeeping nose featuring Lotto and blue green red which is more of a dance hall type of track from Drake um housekeeping is more of a new Orleans bounce track with a more of a house vibe you know hence the name and it's up is basically your typical 808 heavy hip hop track filled with the young thug chorus and
Starting point is 00:05:00 21 Savage and Drake's chemistry on full display. Honestly, I think at this point we could probably say emphatically that Drake's, well, Drake and 21 Savage's collab project, her loss is much better than Drake and Future's collab album. What a time to be alive. I don't think that's a hot take, but y'all let me know, right? So anyways, getting into the more interesting details of this. 100 gig a bite drop the behind the scenes included footage from tours that happened in 2012
Starting point is 00:05:40 with club paradise tour the 2013 would you like a tour that has behind behind the scenes footage of that behind the scenes footage of music videos nonstop jumbo popping sticky hotline bling what's next special clips like Drake giving you Yay, another, yet another, ghost written, uh, ghost, what's it called? A ghost reference track for, um, the track yikes that Yey ended up using for his, uh, album, right? People love to talk about how Drake doesn't write, which, you know, for specific tracks, he just blatantly doesn't, but there's no disregarding his pen simply for the fact that
Starting point is 00:06:32 he's written and been and has been trusted to give whole reference tracks to goats. And I mean the cream of the crop like Kanye West and then of course Beyonce because if I don't know, Heated was entirely written and referenced by Drake. Like there's probably a, probably a video just like this with Drake doing the reference track for Yikes for Ye. It's probably a video of him doing the reference track Heated for Beyonce because guess what the actual version of drake's heated is out on internet hey the ovo camp they move they move interesting don't they um this is coming in the aftermath of kensi completely mutilating him verbally so with that being considered we have to get to the elephant room a lot of drake fans are
Starting point is 00:07:26 telling him to take a break myself included because we want what's best for our artists burnout is a real thing And I think that this type of drop is showcasing why he should take a break. At the same time, disregarding all our advice as far as taking the break because he dropped three new tracks, basically, in this 100 gigabyte release. So basically, Drake has the most streams, the most plays, the most buys, purchases in 2024 as far as a discography, right? But in 2024 released content He only has one track out of 100
Starting point is 00:08:07 charting on the billboard top 100 Which is the 80th most played track With Sexy Red You My Everything Guess how many albums Drake currently has in the top 50 Drake currently has zero albums charting in the top 50
Starting point is 00:08:25 In as far as the world And that's never happened for Drake So when I say discography leading the pack Some people may be confused on how that's the case when he's technically not dominating the charts like he wants or he used to do in the past. Well, basically, his discography is being played at a level to where every single one of his projects is bringing in enough engagement that he's still number one when it comes to Kendrick, when it comes to Eminem, when it comes to just everybody who's
Starting point is 00:09:00 released new music, people are still listening to old Drake more than their, uh, his competition's newer, uh, newer stuff. Like the most streamed rappers of July, which keep in mind, the most popular rapper before Drake, M&M dropped a whole new album. And if you don't know, M&M currently has, M&M currently has four tracks in the top 100, right? he has Houdini That's the 19th most played track in the world He has somebody Save Me which is the 87th most played track in the world
Starting point is 00:09:39 Toby I don't know why I went backwards Sorry that was okay I went backwards Parking I can't read Hold up give me a second Toby which is the 84th most played track in the world And then you have Okay I got to zoom in I guess I guess I just can't see today
Starting point is 00:09:59 I'm starting over Houdini, which is the 19th most played track in the world by Eminem. And this is all off one album. Toby, which is the 84th most played track in the world, been on the charts for like five weeks. All of these tracks have been on a chart for at least five, like at least two to three weeks plus, right? And then he had somebody saving me, which is the 87th most played track in the world that's been on a chart for about three weeks. And then, okay, so that's it. So he has three tracks charting in the top of 100, right?
Starting point is 00:10:31 And then you come over to albums and Eminem currently has the six most play album in the world with the death of Slim Shady. And then he has the 41st most played album in the world with Curtin Call. Now, all that being considered from the most popular rapper until Drake came, putting out a new album that statistically is doing well on the charts has multiple tracks charting in the top of 100. and Drake still was the most stream rapper of that month. Even though it was close, Drake had 1.15 billion. Eminem had 1.14 billion, right? Travis Scott had 1.01 billion.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Kendrick Lamar had not 100 million, even with all the antics of the pedified anthem considered, he still is not even in the top three. Pretty pathetic if you ask me, but you know, hey, it's just a Drake stand talking. Kanye West is fourth with 727. million streams and in future is a fifth rounds off the top five actually i can't count rounds off the top six to a seven hundred twenty five so anyways um i say all that to say that is why we're telling
Starting point is 00:11:43 drake to take take a break it's not like we want drake's career to be just demolished but it's almost as if people still will listen to you if you don't put out newer content right so that is why this whole hundred gigabytes worth of content that he just dropped seems like a whole desperation attempt in a very interesting one because do not disturbed which came out on dark demos uh dark lanes demo no it came out on more life yeah came out on more life i think that was back in 2015 hold does that have the date on here came out back in 2017 right and drake said on do not disturbed, which is one of my favorite Drake
Starting point is 00:12:30 lyricist tracks. Like as far as lyricism, this is one of my favorite Drake tracks of all time. Do not disturb. That's what I'm talking about. So the verse goes like, duct a lot of spiteful moves. I was an angry youth while I was writing views. Saw a side of myself that I just never knew. I'd probably self-destruct if I ever lose,
Starting point is 00:12:53 but I never do. steady doing double shifts one to doing the beat and I open up like a double clip a double click more blessings because I'm generous now if that's just not a perfect synopsis of what's going on right now
Starting point is 00:13:11 I don't know what it is I think we finally saw Drake actually lose because no matter what you want to say about the push a tea Drake beef push your tea still didn't outperform Drake when it came to when it came to commercial success via the disc tracks, right?
Starting point is 00:13:28 Even though the quality and impact was higher and greater amongst the culture of hip hop, numbers-wise, Drake's tracks that he put out in response did better than Pusha T's. So with that being considered, Push-a-T's story of Adidon never outperformed Drake, just Drake's music, never outperformed Drake's music commercially like not like us is doing for Kendrick Lamar do y'all know that not like us by kensic lamar
Starting point is 00:14:01 is the most successful disc track of all time and it's one of the most successful hip-hop tracks of all time just forget the disjohn the disc track genre in itself it's one of the most successful hip-hop tracks of all time and it's a track calling drake a pedophile so Drake actually lost. It's like an infinity war at the end of the movie when you think there's like a end credit scene that's going to be like, oh no, it was just a different reality.
Starting point is 00:14:33 They didn't actually lose. Like, no, my brother, they lost and now you got to wait for the next year, right? That's Drake going through this. That's what Drake is going through currently. And that is why I keep coming back to this verse from Do Not Disturb, because him saying,
Starting point is 00:14:51 I saw a side of my side, that I just never knew. I'd probably self-destruct if I ever lose, but I never do. I think that's very telling. I think that's basically what's happening. And I'm not saying his career is self-destructing or anything like that, but I think he's losing himself as far as the sense of understanding what his fans want. Because his contract, people keep bringing out, oh, he has to put out music. The brother just had the biggest hip-hop beef of all time. I'm pretty sure Universal Music Group is okay with that man taking a break for for the rest of the year like come on now it's only four months left in a year people acting like we're telling him to take a break until 2026 right so yeah uh
Starting point is 00:15:37 drake should probably keep this what it is which is just a random drop on a random account for his actual fans to go through and dissect and go away even though he say he's putting out new album with Party Next Door, which we will get into. I just didn't feel like it was that important to touch on. Because I'm not trying to be that. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. But I mean, we've basically been getting Drake and Party Next Door collab albums. I mean, what y'all think views is?
Starting point is 00:16:09 Which y'all think more life, what y'all think all these albums is? Like, there's a reason. Party Next Door is like the dream for Beyonce. Like, that man is just the right-hand man of Drake's creativity when it comes to pinning certain tracks and verses so anyways um yeah it's just going to be a regular drake album like i don't think it's like he's not like comblabbing with somebody he's never collab with before and so that that's a little interesting the way that people was reacting to that so anyways um what else so drake gave us new content tracks are not on dsps i doubt there'll be on
Starting point is 00:16:49 DSPs unless the internet blows it up because that's one thing that God's plan had working for it. The internet blew that up so much that when it actually came out to DSPs and impacted the charts heavily, which is another ploy in another tactic that I think Drake is using currently in the aftermath of this Kendrick beef. Because like he said, he saw a side of himself that he just never knew. And following that bar, he said, I probably self-destructive I ever lose, but I never do. and in all actuality commercial wise hip hop wise culture wise that man lost now financially and the other genres right he'll be i and he'll be all right in hip hop it's probably just going to take a long time just like it's going to take a long time for germane to get out of hip hop time out i'm sorry i just
Starting point is 00:17:40 had to let you know he's still in there so with that being said uh click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about drake's 100 gigabyte drop on this account ig account title plot twist what was your favorite piece of content and what was your favorite track from the new releases off of this uh content release
