Starting point is 00:00:00 The goat of hip hop is back. And with that being said, I want to shout out to all the rappers who's been holding it down for the majority of 2023. Because now, y'all can take a break. And I mean, like, actually take a break from the craft that you are just painfully mediocre at. Because when it comes to Drake, I'm not going to land to you. It's not really too much to compare. I mean, he said himself on this track, 8 a.m. in Charlotte, he feels like as if Michael Jackson switched out the glove for the pen. And the pen, for those who don't know out there, is one of the things that rappers talk about because, you know, they take pride.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Well, some rappers, the great ones, the best ones of all time, take pride in writing their rap. So with that being said, Drake is back to take over 2003, well, the remainder of it as it's been very interesting for hip hop as far as statistics because you look at the charts, all you see is Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift and other genres
Starting point is 00:01:19 aside from hip hop, right? If it wasn't for the little Uzi Verk pink tape going number one when it first came out, Travis Scott Utopia going number one going number one when it came out. It's getting to a point where hip hop is getting more competition from other genres. So I like when the giants of the genre pop out because it's a reminder that we are still the number one genre in the world.
Starting point is 00:01:50 And now the number one genre in the world has this number one performing artists putting out an entire project at midnight. specifically getting into this track, I believe that this is going to be completely different in the sense of it's not going to be too much of this. I do not believe that for all the dogs is going to have a lot of hard-hitting verses and singing, I believe, is going to be majority of Drake throughout the project.
Starting point is 00:02:28 With that being said, I do feel like rapping will be a part of the project, but with the features being Nicky Minaj, Bad Bunny allegedly Yeat, hopefully not, but people are saying Lo Yadi may be on the project. Basically, what I'm saying is I feel like he's going to be seeing
Starting point is 00:02:46 way more than he's rapping because Drake is under a certain deal right now, especially with Universal Music Group, where he received around $500 to $600 million for his projects, but the projects are abundant.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Like, it's a lot of projects he has to deliver to fulfill the contract. So if you don't recognize what Drake is kind of doing, he's really going at it in a certain way where his real albums are the ones where his face is on the cover. And the other albums are kind of just mixtape and experimental type albums. If you really think about the best albums in Drake's discography, and I know what Judge it. They say don't judge a book by his cover, but we've received enough Drake material to know that usually his best albums are the ones with his face on the cover. I know that's like one of the most blanket statements you can make, but when you get into the names like take care, nothing was the
Starting point is 00:03:51 same, Scorpion, classic bodies of work from one of the greatest artists in history. So with this album, I'm not expecting that type of production or that type of execution, but I do feel like this would be a solid body of work because, of course, me as a Drake fan, I'm not going to say that Drake's going to give us a dud, like especially not before the album actually comes out, but I do believe that this would be a little bit different as far as what we're used to getting from Drake, and I do believe it would end up being an inquired taste, just like honestly, nevermind was and just like her loss was because of course her loss was hard hitting because it was that patentate Drake teaming up with a gangster appeal type musician to give you the best of both worlds.
Starting point is 00:04:43 And if you don't remember, Drake did that with future with what a time to be alive. And he does that often with certain rappers that have a certain appeal that's not necessarily the Drake demographic. If you think about Drake, gangster appeal is far from the. perception of Drake. So him attaching himself to these type of musicians helps out a lot. So with him standing on his own, I don't think we'll get any 21 Savage. I really don't believe we'll receive too many features on this project besides the ones I just named. I do believe we're going to get more of a softer album completely different from her loss.
Starting point is 00:05:22 So it was mostly hard hitting bars, topics that was really controversial. I mean, calling out Megan Estagian, not really thinking that she got shot. I mean, no matter how he wants to spend it, that's basically what he said. Those type of controversial opinions, I don't think it would be as prevalent on this album because he'll be singing for most of the project about girls, right? Which is nothing wrong with that. But at the end of day, if we're looking for hard-hitting bars, I don't believe that's going to be a part of for all the dogs.
Starting point is 00:05:56 because I think this is strategic in a way that 8 a.m. in Charlotte is basically to let y'all know I still do this rapping stuff. But this project that's about to come out, it's probably going to be more in line compared to like a slime you out featuring zizzar. Like slime you out, I believe is indicative of the entire body of work for all the dogs. I think we're going to get a lot of singing bars, but not technically rap. if that makes sense. And so I don't really, I'm not going to say I don't have my hopes for this album because it's coming out so late into the year that I'm believing that Drake is basically trying to fulfill his contractual obligations and that means sticking with his release timeline, which is experimental albums leading up to his actual album that will probably come out next year.
Starting point is 00:06:55 I do believe that Drake's real album will come out in 2024, but for this album, I do feel like it's going to be majority singing. But at the end of day, these are predictions. Album hasn't came out yet, so I could be totally wrong. But for all the dogs, I feel like this is going to be a softer album. And rapping, I don't think, would be too prevalent throughout the runtime. That's why I believe he just gave us an 8 a.m. and Charlotte, where he's literally rapping for four minutes and 33 seconds.
Starting point is 00:07:25 straight bars, double, triple entendres, letting us know why I and many others call him the greatest of all time when it comes to hip hop. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Drake's 8 a.m. and Charlotte freestyle. Well, it's not even freestyle, but the track, what do you think of that? And before all the dogs comes out, where do you think, actually, what do you think for all the dogs is going to sound like and what do you think Drake's top three albums are currently
