The big bad wolf of the music industry, universal music group, is telling people,
is letting it be known, making it a worldwide announcement that ripping off their artist's voice is indeed illegal.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, that makes no sense.
Imagine a person who actually, like in real life, if a person,
actually sounded like Drake.
UMG could just come out and be like, hey, that's illegal.
And we're taking out all your music because you sound like Drake.
You know why all these famous artists say these people sound like me and they're trying
to bite my style?
Because usually if a fan wants to hear that type of vocal inflection or that type of cadence
and another rapper is giving it to them at maybe a lower level, but they're still giving
them that type of sound, then they start to cold.
motivate a fan base that's similar to the artists they looked up to.
It happens all the time in music.
But now it's quote unquote illegal because Universal Music says it is.
And I think I've talked about Universal Music Group multiple times on my podcast.
And it's to the point where y'all should know that any other major label doesn't even come close when we're talking about UMG.
Like Sony, there's other ones, Empire.
I just say Republic, Republic Records.
I can't say I'm all off the top of my head,
but there's a lot of different Warner.
I think Warner is Universal Music Group.
No, I don't think.
I think it's a little different.
Okay, so anyways, I can't name them all off the top of my head,
but that was like three or four for you.
So in general, Universal Music Group has the most money
to allocate to the artist,
which is why Drake, Kanye West,
I believe Justin Bieber.
Basically, the biggest artist in the game go on to Universal Music Group.
Because to compare it to sports, it's like if an athlete was looking at the market and he was a free agent,
and let's say the Lakers had $80 million to give them and all the other teams at max,
I mean the maximum they could give out was like 60.
It's a big difference in that.
And that's why a lot of different artists, well, the biggest artists usually end up signing
to Universal Music Group, because not only that, because Eminem's also signed to him.
So now, well, sign to them, you know, whoever them are, I'm not trying to cancel.
But anyways, not only that, Universal Music Group also comes after a lot of, I want to say copyright
situations as far as the lawyers.
And they're one of the main major labels that takes down a lot of different content involving
the artist, whether it's justified or not.
They just take it down regardless because Universal Music Group is about that coin and nobody is stopping them from making it.
So I did propose one time that if all the content creators just got together and just stopped just reviewing or covering Universal Music Group's artists, I think that it will cause change as far as them treating the media like they're just scum or on the bottom of their shoe.
That's usually how they do.
because if a major label doesn't see the benefits of media covering them,
then I think we've lost all sense of reality with how they even got there in the first place.
So anyways, this segment is specifically about Drake's AI track titled Winners Cold.
And, you know, I may or may not put it in description for you to listen to it in full, you know,
but if it's taken down at that point, I'm talking about the track.
that I'm going to link you to, then, hey, I apologize.
At least I had it up while it was, you know, alive and well.
So in general, the winner's cold track is pretty fire.
No pun intended.
Well, is that a pun?
I don't know.
But I think for Drake, he needs to try to build up a camp of all the ghost riders who's making
these tracks and just embrace the fact that he has people writing for him.
Like I think at this point with AI technology to get ahead of the curb and to be revolutionary,
he should just start up a camp, literally call it the OVO sweatshop, like literally call it the OVO sweatshop.
Everybody's going to know what you're talking about because everybody's already been accusing you of having a writer's camp.
Call it the OVO sweatshop.
All of these ghost writers that are writing these AI drawings.
Drake tracks and are actually putting up numbers with these tracks, like Winners Code,
there's two other I'm going to cover in a second, but Drake needs to get them into a room,
sign them to some contract, of course, because, you know, I know how Drake is, you know, he's,
I'm not trying to get canceled like Kanye, but let's just say Drake's a great businessman for a
reason. And then after that, just announce it to the public, so it's just full disclosure.
I'm about to be putting a music out at a rapid pace
because my writing camp is about to be top tier
and watch all the other artists following his footsteps.
I mean, Drake put out a pop album
or like a dance type album
and all you've heard from these other artists
is I just want to rock
and all type of moving your hips.
Like, you know, I don't know.
Moving your hips, that gets into, yeah,
yeah, let me just say moving.
hips and you know in a certain fashion let me just say that but yeah so drake usually sets the precedent
for what other artists do as far as promotion and if drake starts to do that watch other artists
try to drum up the ghost writers to write for them because the biggest the most amount of AI
covers i'm seeing is Kanye west of course by far Drake um and i would say Taylor swift probably
Taylor Swift and some of the post hummus ones I've seen like juice world I've seen a lot ex ex teatacion
I've seen a lot that's pretty much it but drake and conier they have so many covers it really
lets you know who the public think or like who the public perceives as some of the best in the music
industry so anyways click my link to your my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
about drake's AI track titled winners code and
Do you think that Drake should literally start an OVO sweatshop?
