Starting point is 00:00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, the goat is back. And by back, I mean, he just dropped a whopping 100 gigabytes worth of content, literally titled 100 gigs for your headtop. Now, this was released August 6, 2024, of course. And the track I'm specifically talking about for this segment, because we're going to get into the entire discography that he just dropped like basically he dropped the whole behind the scenes depiction of his craft on this IG account titled plot twist here's the IG account just in case you was wondering analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video
Starting point is 00:00:52 along with the audio but basically as you can see in the middle that says hold up i don't know if i can see that says 260 posts now I don't know about y'all but that's a lot now when you really get deeper into it you realize that this man has dropped all type of content for nonstop jumbo popping this pg podcast so you know ex we just have to leave that at the uh leave that at the door but uh sticky hotline bling his tour in 2012 2013 a lot of studio sessions recording processes i mean it has it all on this IG account right here. But specifically for the segment, let's talk about blue, green, red. So, of course, this is produced by Boy Wanda 40.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And I thought Gordo produces as well. I believe Gordo produces, I think he tweeted about it. But anyways, this track is basically Drake singing, getting into a whole other genre. and I would say that the track is pretty solid. It's one of those where it's lukewarm. It's not like Superfire, but it's also another genre. So I don't know if I'm the right person to even critique this type of music because the genre that he's going for is unbeknownst to me as is definitely different from hip hop or R&B.
Starting point is 00:02:22 So with that being stated, I do believe that the blue-green. red track, being a dance hall inspired track, could potentially be a hit for that specific audience. But for me, personally, I think it's just lukewarm. I think it's one of those things to where Drake is putting out a lot of content simply for the fact that this seems like a great PR move to give a FU to all the fans that has been telling you. him to take a break because this is the exact opposite course of action in response to your fans telling you to take a break because the reason why we are saying take a break is because he's been putting out a plethora of content whether it's through camilla cabello whether it's through sexy red
Starting point is 00:03:16 whether it's through uh who else he put a song out uh the wagwan delilah which never hit DSPs but basically was an attempt to check the temperature on that track and let's just say only one left from all those releases is the track with sexy ray you my everything which is currently the 80th most played track in the world and it's the only track that has Drake vocals in the top 100 in the billboard so that is very unknown territory for Drake so one of the lines that keeps coming back to me as far as throughout this period in the Drake saga is I probably self-destruct if I ever lose but I never do I wonder when he said that which track was that let me see Drake self-destruct but I never do let me see if that pop so oh yeah do not disturb one of my favorite
Starting point is 00:04:17 lyrical tracks from Drake but basically he said right here and I'm gonna pull it up in a second just look up self here we go all right so right so right here is is what Drake is currently going through. This man said, hold up if I can find it again. I was right here. Okay, Drake on Do Not Disturb said, saw a side of myself that I just never knew. Let me highlight it for y'all.
Starting point is 00:04:45 I'd probably self-destruct if I ever lose, but I never do. Steady doing double shifts, Wanda doing the beat, and I open up like a double click. Now, if that's not a, perfect depiction of what's going on currently in the Drake saga. I don't know what it is. So I would encourage all Drake fans to listen to Do Not Disturb and just realize that I don't think Drake is actually going to be over after Kendrick just demolished him, mutilated him verbally.
Starting point is 00:05:15 It's more of trying to get the point across that obviously in 2024, your music is just not sticking like that statistically when we're talking about the 2024 charts. But as far as discography, of course, you're still leading the pack, which comes back to our advice of take a break. Because obviously people are still listening to your discography more than any other rapper in the music industry. So people are going to listen to your own music. So why not take a break? So that's one of the biggest things because, you know, a lot of people will say that you're not a Drake fan, if you're telling him to take a break. and if this whole 100 gigabytes of content didn't show you why we're telling him to take a break
Starting point is 00:06:01 that I don't know what would get that point across because this man has been given us classics after classic after classic and it is okay for him to take a half a year long break like he already gave us the biggest rap battle in well ever in hip-hop history literally the kendrick lamar not like us track is the most successful disc track of all time so when you're a part of that then safe to say your 2024 has already been accounted for it so why not just take a break for the rest of the year i mean what we only have like what six more no not six we only have we only have like four more months left in a year so why why keep putting out stuff if it's not sticking right so take a break come back in 2025 because as far as this specific track blue
Starting point is 00:06:57 green red i mean it's a nice that dance hall track i'm not the demographic to be asking what the the quality is of this track but as far as the overview of drake and this just the overreaction to people telling him to take a break i think it's uh interesting and it just goes back to the lyrics right here of do not disturb so with that being said man click by link tree in my bio we're obviously going to get more into this this is just the first track i wanted to review so click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about drake's latest leak well not even leak his latest unreleased even that's not correct man what do you think about this track by drake blue green red and also if you've listened to all the unreleased tracks off of the
Starting point is 00:07:43 hundred gigabytes drop which one is your favorite
