Starting point is 00:00:00 The Joe Budden and Drake battle has been going on for quite some time now. If you don't remember, back in the day, people used to accuse Drake of mimicking Joe Budding's rap style back when he was trying to get his bars off in certain freestyles with the Blackberry in front of his face, right? So now, whenever Drake has assimilated to so many different cultures that he's at a certain level. where Joe Budden actually not at a certain level he's at the highest of heights right but still because of that instance of him wanted to mimic Joe Budden's rap style to get more popularity in a rap scene because for all the jokes people want to make about Joe Budden he's probably is one of the nicest rappers to ever rap you know so with that being said any criticism that comes from Joe Budden is going to I don't know if inside light is the right word, but basically incite this type of response, as this is what Joe Budden ended up saying about Drake's album for all the dogs. Now, if you want to see it along with the audio, make sure to go to my analytic dreams video podcast on Spotify to see the video version along with the audio. So once again, that's analytic dreams video podcast on Spotify to see the video
Starting point is 00:01:28 version along with the audio. And with that being said, let's get straight into it. This is like Yadi rapping. This is like he rapping for the children. And that's my, yo dog, I had to look up how old it was when I finished listening to the album.
Starting point is 00:01:46 You are 36. Your birthday is in 20 days. I googled that too. First off, 36 is not old. Now, I'm not saying that because I'm 36, even though for people who know me, you know, I act way older than 36.
Starting point is 00:02:02 But at the end of day, I feel like anything around, let me not even put a date on it. I'm not trying to disrespect nobody. You know what I'm saying? Like, getting old is a goal in life, not to serious itself. But let's just leave it at 36 is not old.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Like, come on now. But anyways, let's keep going. I'm going to let him get his stuff off. 37 years old. Get the away from some of these younger nits and stop in these 25-year-olds. That's hate.
Starting point is 00:02:35 So Leonardo DiCaprio can do it, but Drake can't. Double standards. I'm listening to the album. You're 37-year-old billionaire. I get it that you appeal to the world. My shit is happening in reverse. Like, with Cole, he used to rap about kids shit. I'm a grown-ass, like, real Jersey City.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I want to hear how you lost your virginity. And then he starts. to grow up. And then the rapping sounded like an adult rapping. I'm one to hear adult Drake rapping for adult people. All right. So that's basically the sentiments of Joe Button, right?
Starting point is 00:03:15 And usually, well, all the time, I call Joe Button one of the best orators, orators. How do you say it? I think it's orators. Orator's, I don't know. It's one of those. Y'all get what I'm saying, right?
Starting point is 00:03:29 Basically, if you don't. people who talk the best, right? Because there's a talent and keep a people's attention for long periods of time. And if you don't know, Joe Budden drops literally a three plus hour podcast every single week, two times a week. And his watch time, as he's said multiple times, just like through the roof. And of course, you know, you can say, oh, he's capping or he's lying. But look at the charts of the Apple, Spotify. and then compare that to how many people he has on Patreon.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Obviously, some people are coming back to tune in week after week. So with that being said, it's a lot of people who listen to this podcast, which is why Drake responded. Because honestly, right now, I could say that Joe Button, production and everything, has the best hip-hop podcast as far as a production value and what he's giving as far as the overall package, right? So with that being said, um, Drake. has responded. And as you see, if you're over on the Spotify channel, he responded in great lengths. So this is what we're going to do. We're going to have a little
Starting point is 00:04:39 read-along. And at the end, I'm going to give my short sentiments. Actually, yeah, I'm going to read it and I'm going to get my sentiments at the end, right? So this is what Aubrey Graham said to Joseph. At Joe Budden, you have failed that music. You left it behind to do what you are doing in this clip. because this is what actually pays your bills. For any artists watching this, just remember you are watching a failure giving their opinion on his idea of a recipe for success.
Starting point is 00:05:18 A quitter, give their opinion on how to achieve longevity. You switch careers because the things that pop into your brain had you broke living check to check and the raps you write had 450 men showing up to your shows and dusty ennese i don't know how to say that it's like e n y C e i don't know what that is and i'm just going to say in these enise jeans to screw up their face to mood music 29 and pretend You are the goat.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Please, to any artist that's doing what they feel is right, don't let these opinions affect your mindset after the fact. This guy is the poster child of frustration and surrendering. You retired and we never hung up your jersey. We don't even remember your number. We know you for doing this. you withdrew from rap not because you accomplish all you need to is because it wasn't working for you
Starting point is 00:06:41 I never want anybody in the generations to think that the whole quote everybody is entitled to their opinion is a real thing this is a man projecting his own self-hate in the fact that I did and continue to do everything he wants it to do for himself, period. If you need to put it in simpler terms, I own a 767.
Starting point is 00:07:20 He owns a modest house in 973 and flies first class on special occasions. And that is the end, ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something. As a podcast to myself, right, I think it comes to a point where whenever you, invoke emotions like this, you want. I never want somebody to come to my podcast, come to anybody's podcast, and I have some type of strong feeling towards it, whether it's hatred, whether it's love. But if you, at the end of the day, if you listen to my sentiments about how I cover music, how I cover gaming, and then you leave and you be like, well, that was all right.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I have failed as a content creator. because what we're doing is performative. This is not how I talk in real life, right? This is not the type of vocal inflection I use for reading on the screen or clowning germane or saying Yaddy's one of the worst artists I've ever heard in my life, right? That's all performative. I don't go around in my daily walk of life saying that. What Joe Button just did and what he just said,
Starting point is 00:08:43 out to do, he executed to the highest of efficiency. He was Kyrie Irvin in the disc towards Aubrey Graham. Because basically, he got what he wanted. The biggest artists in the world to shine a light on his podcast.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Because whether you want to say he commented an academic chat, everybody still sees Joe Buttons' face in the video, face recognition. They're going to be like, well, hold up maybe i should listen to the podcast to see if you were spending even more because if you go to the comment section which i could pull it up a lot of people were saying that joe button was hating because you know academics um audience it's mostly like drake fans which is nothing wrong
Starting point is 00:09:30 with that i'm just pointing that out so with that being said right everybody in the comments section was saying you retired we never hung up your jersey like they're just laughing at his comments dog you screenshot it this eight seconds after he commented now that's insane actually somebody probably screenshot and sent it to him but oh that was a little yaddy who said that that's funny let me see let me put this up no kind of yaw probably want to see this all right so little yaddy said dog you screenshot at this eight seconds after he commented which in all actuality one of his fans probably just sent it to him um here are a bunch of people who have eighth grade reading level that are gonna say we ain't reading all that
Starting point is 00:10:12 actually that's pretty funny academic chat is usually one of the funniest chats in the world academics and RDCs chat man I ain't gonna lie they're some homemade comedians if I do say so myself so with that being said
Starting point is 00:10:26 everybody stuck up on the jersey part but for me responses have to have some type of credence to it right if you're just saying jokes in response to my real critiques for your album then at the end of day, I won. But I don't want to be the dead horse.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Joe Budden officially set out to do and accomplish the goal of getting the biggest artist in the world to react to your review of his music. And at the end of the day, content creators biggest job, most important job is to invoke emotion and engagement. and there's nothing bigger than a person you're actually talking about having this type of response to what you've said and the critique and honest critique of their album. So with that being said, click my link, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Joe Budden versus Drake? Obviously, if you know the beef in the past, you know, this is not just something that came up out of the blue.
Starting point is 00:11:33 They've been has static, but I guess now he wants to talk about it and show. case how he does not approve of Joe Buttons critique. So that's pretty funny. But anyways, click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about this Joe Buddy? Oh, I'm totally tripping. Hold up. This is what Joe Button is saying in response. He said, you'll grow up sooner or later if all the time is undefeated. I forgot to say that. So yeah, the only reason I forgot is because Joe Button gave one of the, like honestly he set out to do this. So he had accomplished and making Drake upset. And as you see, whenever you write a long paragraph like this, like, honestly, this is like a Times new Roman, you know, size 12 essay that he just submitted for evaluation in response to Joe Button's album critique.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Like at the end of the day, that's all you can say. If a person cares that much about your opinion, then, hey, as a podcaster, you did your job well. All right, so click my link to in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Joe Budden and Drake's back and forth? And who do you think came out on top?
