Starting point is 00:00:00 Now getting into the leak track Cheerios, I just want y'all to know that as far as leaking, allegedly, leaking your own tracks and then your label taking it down because you're suing them for paola and defamation, this is beyond comedy. But of course, the actual track on a subjective level, I think is fire as this man's chorus as far as Gucci let it blam, then he passed it to his man, got a batting glove on, he don't hold it in his hand. And then he went on to describe how some criminal acts may or may not go the way you think it would as far as them covering their tracks. Now he said, then he throw it out the window and just leave it where it land. Or he throw it in the water, make him dig it out the sand. Hey, scratched off the cereal. We call that. It's a PG podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:54 So we're just going to say we call that stuff a cheerio. and then they take their clothes off and bleaching that material now what in the charlemagne type beat is this now let me tell y'all something as far as the goat of hip hop the mascot of hip hop and the ultimate epitome of what success looks like in the music industry as if you don't know drake made history right i forget what it was as far as let me see if i can find this because you know drake breaks billboard records all the time so record after Nokia because I believe he yeah okay so he officially set a new record for the most cumulative weeks on billboard 200 charts and guess who he surpassed the Beatles it's almost like he rapped about this on a track with meek mill the same rapper that he put in a coffin and took him out like
Starting point is 00:01:45 he was jesus right so this man acting like the messiah himself bringing rappers back from the dead and the sentiments that he said as far as having more slaps than the Beatles and then an official being stated that he has more cumulative weeks on the billboard 200 charts surpassing the beaters I mean come on but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going this man is the ultimate goal and nobody can mess with him on the objective scale when it comes to analytics now of course now we got to get to the league tracks so UMG's not playing around uh Drake and UMG is continuing their beef that started in 2023 as far as the
Starting point is 00:02:25 deluxe edition for for all the dogs have the red button track on it right and then coinciding with future and metro putting out some of the hater the most hated material as far as the amount of hatred you could build up for one man and putting it into a project future and metro embodied that by putting out we don't trust you and guess what they double back spun the block twice but there was somewhere apart and they titled it we still don't trust you right how all the drake's greatest ops on there like like they was building the hip hop sinister six asap rocky uh Rick Ross the weekend Kendrick future Metro I mean they probably have even more people on the
Starting point is 00:03:07 album I mean Farrell put out a track for Despicable Me where he was taking shots at Drake these people do not like that Canadian now I wonder why so anyways what that been said the league track Cheerios besides the chorus is very um ominous as far as the vibe that he's going for reminds me of the track where he had to ski mask on the album i forget with that i think he called it a playlist i want to say it was more life no it was a dark lens demo tape it reminds me of that type of vibe as far as the ominous feel and how he's trying to embody a gangster letting you know the routine of how they would or how they would or would not go about doing certain criminal acts that's all i'm gonna say because you know i'm not the police right so basically
Starting point is 00:03:50 i like this track right they're talking about well he's talking about a lot of things and the track that is going on with thug and he ain't he even names drop uh he even name drops gunner which is interesting because this leads me to believe that these are actually old tracks because waiting to exhale had a track about planning all that just for the distract to fail which you know in hindsight makes sense but now in today's age in 2025 makes no sense coming from drake right but then he has another track talking about how should have been in the there with thug in them or being there with gunna in them right essentially name dropping gunna after he named drop thug which or leads me to believe this is an older leak track because why would he
Starting point is 00:04:38 name drop gunna when yon thug completely hates that man right makes sense as if it was recorded back when he was making for all the dogs which is what this uh what these leaks are reported to come from as far as the for all the dogs error it makes sense as gunna back then did not tell on yon thug and so So he would name drop Gunna as far as a long South Thug. Right. Nowadays, if he name drops, Gunna is 100% going to be a diss after or before that gunna name drop. Nowadays, Gunna is not seen in the greatest light as far as Young Thug and his case.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Let's just put it like that. Let's just say, Gunna may or may not be in 4K saying, yes, ma'am to YSL being a gang. So anyways, you know, Cherios, I think is a phenomenal track. a lot of people don't like when Drake talks gangster in his lyrics and it makes sense because you know where Drake embodies as far as at this point is more of a hip-hop caring like why not rap about the amount of petitions you could put on a rapper if they beat you in a rap battle right why not rap about oh if you expose me for having a child I'm just going to go on LeBron shop and cry to him and say and have LeBron tell me like what I tell you and then him you know stutter as he tells
Starting point is 00:05:56 Brian that I can never let you down, you know, I fear of letting you down, right? Why not rap about that? You know, that's very introspective into your actual life and your feelings towards the universe, right? So whenever he gets into these gangster-like bars, I'm like, hold up, am I listening to NBA young boy, but then you realize his drink, the hip-hop Karen. So in all actuality, this is my favorite artist of all time. This is how you already know that I keep an eight more than 92 on the podcast because
Starting point is 00:06:25 everybody deserves the same amount of critique and praise you see how I said that he's the epitome of what success looks like in the music industry and I also said that he's the hip-hop Karen two things could be true but of course the Kendrick side is going to run with one thing and then the Drake side is going to run with the other but obviously if you're a nuanced listener you already know that I try to keep it balanced and try to let you know what's going on in the totality in the music industry but as far as Drake track Cheerios the chorus is probably my favorite did have 21 Savage on the league track of waiting to Excel. I thought 21 Savage could have been on a Cheerios track and it would have made more sense.
Starting point is 00:07:01 But I don't know. He decided to have him on waiting to Excel. But anyways, if you try to post this, if you try to look for it, if it hasn't been taken down by UMG because UMG is not playing around with Drake, if you do end up being able to find a track, I would, the way I found it was going on Twitter and finding one of the few posts that wasn't taking down my UMG and listening to the track. but ultimately I would just probably go to SoundCloud or SpinRilla or something like that.
Starting point is 00:07:28 I know that's a throwback for some people and try to find a track. But anyways, so with that being said, he dropped three leaked tracks, waiting to exhale Cheerios, and then the last one we're about to get into right now that is titled Ball Harbor.
