Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "DRAKE & DON TOLIVER - COLD SHOULDER (FEAR OF MISSING OUT FOMO)"

Starting point is 00:00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, you know what you got to do. First off, isn't that woman married? I mean, you know, all right, whatever. I guess it don't matter. All right, so track number four, cold shoulder featuring Don Toller, ladies and gentlemen, that music video was immaculate. Now, of course, not only does they have Adam 22's wife seemingly getting close to Drake for some reason. You know, him and Adam 22 must have the greatest relationship.

Starting point is 00:00:25 Because, I mean, this is a lot of trust that's being implemented in this specific. scenario. Now, of course, with that being said, you already know what Lenna does. This is a PG podcast, so I'm not going to say her profession on a live stream, but, you know, I understand. So in that being said, when it comes to Coldshoulder featuring Don Tolliver, it's about Drake being, I think he's stood up on, like, something like that, let me see. So yeah, I think he's being stood up right here as far as him trying to get a connection to figure out where the girl's at. Somebody from the place is like, hey, man, the light show is pretty fire. and then they go on to continue the music video and then the surprise don't tolliver features what carries this in my opinion and of course so drakes just you know walking around and joining this by himself because he got stood up so i like the whole premise of this music video and the reason why i played this part is because it basically uh the track the instrumental kind of starts off the music video in the first place so anyways um the main thing when it comes to this entire fomo live stream is that i may or may not have the entire fear of missing out playlist in a description

So basically, that's why I want to let you know for those who's wondering about the full fear of missing out playlist. But getting back into my track by track review, this is one of my favorite tracks off of the Drake newer music releases in the fear of missing out live stream. Because of course, to reveal 10 new tracks when you already put out three new hours. albums is actually insane. But then you come to realize the way he split it up and the way he showcased it was to basically let the industry know that he is fine, self-funding himself,

Starting point is 00:02:39 and putting out immaculate music videos with immaculing music, in my opinion. So Coldshoulder is also a part of that immaculate package pulse. You know what I'm saying? I just got to say that, you know me? So when it comes to Cold Shoulder featuring Don Tolliver, it is one of my favorite newer tracks that he showcased. But of course, there's nowhere to be found, ladies and gentlemen. The official version is not out anywhere. So that is why I put together the whole playlist. And of course, I gave you, you know, in my description box below.

Starting point is 00:03:09 I may or may not have an entire link. So anyways, um, cold shoulder to me showcases how with Drake and Don Tolliver, they can do no wrong. Now, of course, you may think I'm glazing, but then when you look at the entire industry, you come to realize that we should be rooting for people like Don Tolliver and Drake, if you're a proponent, if you are a connoisseur of hip hop, if you're a fan of hip hop. If there was genres and your favorite team was hip hop, you should be loving this cold shoulder collab from Drake and Don't Oliver. Now, of course, by saying you got to say it's the best thing ever,

Starting point is 00:03:43 of course not. But when it comes to the quality level, you know, obviously it's subjective. But when it comes to the numbers that these two artists are putting up, that's, objectives. And with that being said, the main thing when it comes to that specifically is that Drake still has some of the biggest albums in the world currently, with his highest being Iceman, that's the ninth most play album in the world. And then you come to realize, Don Tolliver is one of the highest hip-hop acts after Drake, and with his album, Octane, that's still the 23rd most play album in the world. So when you're looking at Drake consistently putting BTA on the hip-hop game, you come to realize, as far as a project,

Starting point is 00:04:24 John Tolliver is second up in the entire year of 2026. Now, of course, Germain fans may be upset by that, but guess what? You guys. When you look at the first week sales, I can see your argument. And then when you notice how fast the album dropped off, you come to realize that Don Tolliver and Drake had the most longevity as far as the hip-hop albums in the year of 2026. So for them to come together for this track title Cold Shoulder, I mean, it's literally

Starting point is 00:04:51 like the Avengers, parent. up to notoriously affect the masses because you already know how people are looking at hip hop right now. Artists are flopping left and right. Majors don't want to spend any money on rappers or really just musicians in general because they're like, we already have your catalog. So we're just going to make money off of that every time you drop a new track. So now the money has dried up as far as they advances and you start to see when left to the own resources, they are failing. That is why what Drake is doing is phenomenal because he found a way to independently promote his music and it seems like it's a big blockbuster event when really he's just

Starting point is 00:05:29 putting more effort forth and of course he has way more resources than a lot of other people but to cultivate those resources it was a work ethic that's still on display right now as the music industry is not wanted to fund newer music right so the reason why I say that is because don't Oliver and drake is a phenomenal um collab I love to see it especially in the year of 2026 just two people that's notoriously affecting the masses, carrying any hip-hop genre, and combining their fan bases to maybe outdo some of the other genres and showcase that hip-hop is not dying in any source of the imagination. So, with that be said, um, cold shoulder is definitely my favorite, one of my favorites off of this playlist. Now, as far as my favorite, well, you know, you just got to stick, you got to stick through
