Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to get into, objectively speaking, the most popular track that Drake has ever covered.
Because when I covered this specifically, as far as the initial Ella Langley and Drake remix,
I believe I covered this August 31st, 2021, 26. Now, of course, when it comes to Drake, when it comes to Ella Langley,
safe to say in the year of 2026, they are objectively the top five artists notoriously affected the masses.
and the reason why I say objective is because I don't want anybody to think subjectively
is playing any factor in what I'm talking about.
Ella Langley currently has the most played album in the world.
She currently has the most played track in the world.
And of course, when it comes to Drake, he currently has the highest hip-hop album in the
world, but more specifically, the ninth most played album in the world with Iceman.
And of course, when it comes to singles, Ella Langley has five tracks in the top 25.
Drake has four tracks and the top, let me see, what's the lowest one, in the top, basically the top 100.
So when we're talking about Drake and Ella Langley combining for a Choosing Texas remix, safe to say, it didn't happen.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
All that coverage from me talking about how Drake being on the Choosing Texas remix is such a big W.
I just knew that certain somebody was going to be watching that saying to themselves,
I just don't like it, man
Because I honestly
I just don't like that shit, man
I honestly think Ella Langley would have said yes
But I think her management
Especially with Drake Beefing with UMG
They're like, you're trying to do a remix with who?
I know that ain't who I think it is
Oh, that's definitely not going to happen
You guys
See, that's the problem
Don't forget
Drake is suing his
Uh
Drake is suing his label
As far as UMG
And UMG
UmG currently
is one of the biggest
labels in the world. Now, technically, Ella Langley is under Sony, but it's kind of like the black
ball effect. They will start making calls and be like, hey, do you really want to play ball with
this person that's doing us dirty right now as far as suing us and things of nature trying to blow up
the whole industry talking about bots and things that nature? Of course not. So I think
Ella Langley, if she ends up even letting Drake and Don Tolliver use the type of spin they did on
choosing Texas, I think that would be a W.
So basically, I say all that to say when getting into the entire track list review, once again, the entire playlist for those who missed out is in my description box below.
So I wanted to do that because a lot of people don't know what the new tracks are called, what was the order.
They appeared in the formal live stream.
So that's why your boy here is to show you and actually link it to you.
You know what I'm saying?
Give them some pray.
You know what I'm saying?
But you ain't got to do all that.
Just make sure to rate this podcast five stars.
So the main thing when it comes to Choosing Texas remix feature in Don Tolliver is that I believe choose in Texas the original BPM and sonically is just much better, right?
And then you come to realize that there's a reason for that.
Drake is not trying to get into the country bag with Choosing Texas.
He tried to get into the country bag with Vices.
I think successfully I might add because that was my favorite track out of all the new releases in this fear of missing out live stream.
And then you come to realize that rusty intro also to me personally has been growing on me to the point where I'm like, I feel like Drake actually do a country album.
So to see, to hear him have a remix where he's basically changing choose in Texas from a country track to a R&B track.
I'm not going to lie.
I was a little disappointed because I think Drake could have easily hopped into the world of Ella Langley as far as the country bob, the country instruments in the background.
I say country instruments like it's not guitars and things that they should use in every beat.
But you get the point.
The distinct sound of country beats, I think Drake could hop into that bag and easily go crazy.
So for him to change the beat drastically and make it into a slower R&B anthem, even though it is featuring Don Tolliver, it was a little bit of a letdown to me.
It's still a solid track.
It's beyond solid.
I mean, even the end too deep.
I was like, hold up now.
I must be a real Drake stand because when I heard those like, I don't know how to.
I don't know how to replicate it,
but basically, you know, when the beat was dropping,
it was like, dun dun, dun, dun, dun, that's,
that's all I got.
Shepard.
All right, my fault.
Did that, that probably didn't help you, huh?
Okay, so basically, um,
off Into Deep, you know, there's these certain chords.
I think I can actually play it a little bit.
No, I'm not even going to do that.
You know, UMG would be at my door.
So basically,
I love how they took Into Deep and remixed it at the latter end of choosing Texas
remix because it's such a random combination.
Like who remixes Choosing Texas slows it down to an RB track.
And then towards the second end of the track, you just throw in into deep as far as the beat and remixing it.
I thought it was fire, but also felt like the Choosing Texas part of the track.
I would like to see Drake hop into that Choosin Texas bop instead of making it his own as far as the R&B slowed down anthem.
because it makes me feel like this is not going to be official out this is not going to be
official track anytime soon you know and that would be upsetting because um once again the cms as far as
the country music awards the country genre in general they're very apparent that certain people are not
welcomed into the higher rankings of country when shibuzzi had the biggest or one of the biggest
country uh tracks of all time and then he went to the country music award show in the way that he was
treat it. I think that's a direct depiction on how they look at us as far as the country culture,
looking at the black culture. So with Drake infiltrating it, I think that would be fantastic.
So that's why I would have preferred him to stay with the same Choosing Texas bop and beat.
So anyways, Chosen Texas is the remix. I mean, it's not terrible by any stretch of the imagination.
I just thought it could have been better for Drake to hop on the original Choosing Texas beat.
So with that being said, let's get into my second favorite trade.
of all the newer release off of this fear of missing out live stream right now,
which is track eight titled Classic, but the extended edition.
Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
