Starting point is 00:00:00 Don't even pay me back on none of them favors. I don't need it. And before that, the goat said, people talking about when there's going to be repeated. I won away from Michael, so just beat it. Obviously, that was a PG version of the explicit version. But the news I have to bring to all my OVO goons out there
Starting point is 00:00:33 and civilians, of course, is that Aubrey Graham, aka the goat, aka one of the greatest of all time, and just the music industry, is aiming for yet another number one debut on the Billboard 200, with projected 400 to 450,000 units first week.
Starting point is 00:00:59 So 400,000 to 450,000 projected for its first week sales. So like he said, it's his biggest debut since Certified Love a Boy. Honestly, I'm going to credit her loss with this album because I do believe when you drop a fire album, this is what happened with Little Baby, right? My turn was such a phenomenal album quality-wise that when he dropped his next album, obviously it sold even more because of what you built, the type of anticipation that you built in the previous album. The same thing happened for Drake when he put out, I think it was nothing was the same. And he came out with views that literally sold like 800,000,000 first week, right? Because I don't think views is better than nothing was the same. But the numbers were.
Starting point is 00:01:59 I think it's because of the anticipation that built off of nothing was the same that led views to sell so much. With her loss, it was such a impactful album. I honestly think it's a classic. Like, I think what Drake in 21 did on that album, from song to song to, like, there was no skips. It was a certain vibe. And they even switched up the tones. Basically, that album, I think it's like in the top five of Drake's discography. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:26 So with that being said, this, his next album was, of course, going to be highly anticipated because we're already previously, what we're already thinking of what he just gave us. So obviously we're going to listen to this album. And I'm not going to give my review just yet because of course I'm saving that for my episode. But all I got to say is the boy did it again. Number one projected for this album and trying to see if there was anything else. Okay, so for comparison, honestly, nevermind. So 204,000 copies first week, which that was like, okay, is Drake falling off? That was like one of those moments where everybody was like, is Drake falling off?
Starting point is 00:03:04 Obviously for me, I was like, it's a whole different genre as far as the album. It's house music. so i wouldn't expect most of his fans to listen to the track like they usually would you know not to repeat it when they go into the club or something like that like they're probably just like hey what is this and then they stop playing it with her loss obviously that was exactly what people was wanting from drake so that sold a good amount and now you get to this album that's selling 400 000 to 450 000 first week now of course it's not certified level boy where he sold 600 and 13,000.
Starting point is 00:03:43 But it is pretty substantial when all these artists, especially after the pandemic, got to keep that in mind, all of these artists are flopping, like just straight up flopping. Like, if you just seen what DojCat did with $75,000 first week, after rolling out her album
Starting point is 00:03:59 with the biggest song in the world with Painted Town Red, like you cannot just automatically assume your album's going to sell. So for this, to sell the way it is currently, is just another certification, another stamp on my ghost jacket. What is Japit? Yeah, that's just mixed two words. That's insane. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Anyways, on my ghost jacket, you know, if I can talk on why he's just the greatest ever. The longevity, it's unmatched. And this will be and we'll go down in the history books. is one of the most impactful artists of our generation, if not the most impactful artists of our generation. So with that being said, click my link to read my bio. Let me know in one of my social media is.
Starting point is 00:04:52 What do you think about Drake's for all the dogs aiming for a number one debut on Billboard Top 200 with a 400 to 450,000 first week units first week projection? And what do you think about these sales and overall do you think for all the dogs by Drake is a good or bad album?
