Originally a 2024 demo leak, this moody, atmospheric remix blends trap drums with soulful melodies and late-night R&B introspection centered on toxic romance, betrayal, and street loyalty.PND delivers sultry hooks (“Come closer, feel the fire”), Giveon layers deep baritone harmonies and vulnerable ad-libs, while Drake sets the tone: “Heart like a K9, bite back when you cross the line.” Likely pulled from For All the Dogs sessions or post–Some Sexy Songs 4 U vault recordings with PARTYNEXTDOOR (#1 Billboard Feb 2025), the 3+ minute track showcases peak OVO chemistry reminiscent of “Recognize,” “Come and See Me,” and “Chicago Freestyle.”Analytic Dreamz analyzes the production (40-style atmospheric sound), lyrical themes, and why this trio remains unbeatable when Drake taps real R&B. The goat, the mascot, the epitome of what success looks like in the hip hop space.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like what's going on?
Okay, with all of that egregious glazing out of the way, safe to say, when it comes
to Drake, everybody's waiting for Iceman.
Like you look at the charts and obviously I say all the time, just because you sell
the most, it's not mean you make the highest quality.
And just because you don't sell a lot, does not mean you're making the most egregious,
the most horrendous.
Shepard.
All right.
All right.
The two don't correlate.
So when you look at Drake, the main thing you need to know is that he's the epitome of
what quality and quantity looks like combined.
Now of course that's subjective because music is subjective.
But what's not subjective is these leaked verses being very close to the OVO camp because guess
what?
At first we heard a Playboy Cardi version of K-9.
Now we're hearing a give you.
version of K9.
It has me thinking to myself.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
So when it comes to
the specific burner account,
quote unquote, because you know
he's not trying to get sued by UMG, right?
But plot twist, leaking all the type
of tracks when he was beefing with UMG
as far as, what was the track,
green light, blue light, blue light, red light,
whatever that track was called.
It was very fire.
Along with other tracks,
as far as, um,
I'll have to really look it up.
But basically it was like three tracks.
And it was one of the tracks with Lotto, I believe.
So when it comes to the plot twist,
he had to put it out on DSPs because you can't just leak music
and think UMG is not going to catch on to what you're doing.
So now you're looking at the K-9 verse being leaked in a plethora of weights.
One is a rap track with Playboy Cardi.
And then another one is an R&B track with Givion.
And of course, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify
to see the video along with the audio.
Because I may or may not be showing you a certain account
to where you may be able to get this music or just listen to it in general.
So that being said, the canine track and him barking like a dog and the heart like a canine
compared to the rap version of canine.
It's very interesting because I wonder, as far as this particular track, is it going to be
on Iceman, but a completely different version?
We've received the rap version of K9.
We've received the R&B version of K9.
Now we're wondering if there's a lot.
there's an iceman version of k9 because i don't think these leaks will be coming up and percolating
throughout the later months of 2025 if drake wasn't going to have it on iceman now of course
this is all speculative because of course when it comes to givion i'm not going to say he fell off
by any stretch of the imagination because you know i'm not trying to be disrespectful but when you
look at givion specifically givion's beloved which just came out july 11th of this year it's
45,000 units first week. Now, when you look at that in totality, it's 14 tracks, 38 minutes,
and lint. So it's not a lot of music. And you could almost say as an EP, I believe EPs are
under 30 minutes or 28 minutes. I forget. This album is 38 minutes. So just barely surpasses
the EP metric. Now, I'm trying to shoot Givion some bell. I'm not trying to say he fell off,
because I think that would be disrespectful. But like I said, quality and quantity doesn't
always correlate givion's one of the more talented r and b artists i believe we have in the in the field
right now so if i was looking up his first career let me see let me see first sweet
career sales let me see because i was wanting to know for all of his uh albums
because if you look at drake in uh party next door they did phenomenal i mean obviously wasn't drake
standard, but Drake and party next door some sexy songs for you.
In the grand scheme of hip hop in 2025, did pretty good out the gate.
It sold $246,000 to $249,000 first week.
Now, as far as the actual number, because, you know, those are the estimates.
I want to see if I can get the actual number.
Because you look at, let me see, Drake, first week.
Sexy songs.
I think that should pop it up.
So some sexy songs for you debuted, number one, of course.
selling 248,000 first week.
So when you look at that as a collab album,
you already know it doesn't do as well as Drake's solo projects.
And the reason why I say that is because her loss, let me see,
her loss first week,
her loss as far as the first week sells,
that ended up doing,
I'm going to see if I can find this right quick,
404,000 first week.
And actually it may have did.
I think it did better than,
I actually did better than for all the dogs.
And I think that came shortly after her loss were from.
Maybe I'm mistaken.
But basically, 21 Savage and Drake went crazy with the 400 plus thousand first week.
So now you look at some sexy songs for you.
And what it did as far as in this first week sales, as far as 248,000, then you look at
Givion with his album doing 45,000 in his career in totality.
He really doesn't have any prominent major album hits.
his biggest one is technically his last album with 44,000 because give or take was around that same metric as far as first week sales and when it said no when it's all said and done back in 2021 did around 30 to 32,000 first week so now basically what I'm saying is I don't expect give you on to be on a canine track now I think from a quality perspective I think he can help out a Drake album but there's a reason why play with cardi was the leaked version of
K-9 and was the leaked version of the other plot twist track.
Let me see, plot.
This Drake.
Playboy, because it was a specific track.
I don't know why.
I think it's No-Face, but I'm not sure.
I think it was called No-Face.
Let's see.
No-Face.
Because that's what it was.
Okay, yeah, originally No-Face had Playboy Cardi.
But when UMG stepped in, it was like, hey, hold them now.
Stop leaking all your music, thinking we don't know that's your fenced to.
Put it out on D.
DSPs. When it came out on DSPs, you realize they didn't have the Playwood Cardi clearance, because I don't think they're beefing, but somehow Side 7 was able to mesmerize or just hypnotize Playboy Cardi to letting him involve himself in the executive decisions on what tracks he's on and not. So it was kind of crazy. So anyways, Playboy Cardi ended up not being on No Face, even though he was on the original version. Make that make sense. So there's a reason why another Playboy Cardi leaked happen is because
Drake was trying to get with Playb Ricardy in the year of 2025, as you've seen it plays out,
music, I think, was the biggest debut for a hip-hop album.
So you see why Drake was trying to get so acclimated with Playb Ricardy as far as putting out tracks with them.
But now, when you look at No Face, when you look at K-9, those particular leaks are not surprising anybody.
But the Givion one definitely throws you for a loop because Givion is not as big as other R&B artists.
Y'all would rather Drake it with a Leon Thomas, Chris Brown,
or a Kalani or you know some of the R&B heavy hitters to go along with him being a hip-hop heavy hitter
maybe that hopefully that makes sense to y'all because if you don't know at this point in time
Drake's very much into the numbers he's not really into you know things having a low percentage as far as
it working out he tries to go with the whole fusion the cloud fusion and see where it plays i mean
is the reason why which one came out with Central Sea and Drake's not really doing features like that.
So Central Sea, one of the few people that Drake is still cool with.
You had, there was another feature.
Oh, it was Yeat.
I think it was Yeat.
Yeah, Dog House.
So he's definitely looked at who has the biggest fan base currently percolating in the hip-hop space.
When it comes to Givion, I think he may have made a misstep just from a quantity and an engagement factor, not a quality factor.
I just want to talk about the canine version with Givion on it because it's been going crazy
throughout the internet and the blogs and basically people saying that it may end up on ice man
so for me if there is an iceman version I think it'll just be solely Drake I think at this point
time we've already heard the R&B version you've already heard it hip-hop version he may mess around
put out like a popcorn version of K9 so that means that's basically it for the Drake fans out there
just know Drake is still hanging on
he actually has an album on the charts
as far as take care because you know all the Christmas albums
are just taking over the charts
but he's one of the few hip-hop artists hanging on
to the point where even Cardi B
am out of drama fell significantly
to the 40th most play album in the world
and then
if you look at other artists GNX is the 48th most play
album in the world and then of course
when you look at the singles chart
neither Drake or Kendrick is on there or is Cardi on there yeah Cardi's on there okay so Cardi B,
er time is the 79th most played track in the world and then her track safe featuring
Kalani like I said the RB heavy hitters it's the 93rd most played track in the world so
when it comes to the charts the Christmas tracks are taking over I do believe Drake is
getting up to drop Iceman in 2026 now when would that be I mean the world may never know
I actually do believe
Drake may be a little intimidated
by the biggest gangster in the industry
but he said himself as far as Taylor Swift
he pushed his album back once
as far as talking about how
I can't drop or Taylor Swift's
the only one that made me push my album back
if Taylor Swift makes him push it back again
we may have to start looking at Drake like hold on now
can't be talking like you're the greatest
or you the goat and the real goat
as far as engagement is definitely Taylor Swift
you know she can't make
him push his album back again because i think drake's trying to figure out how to get that number
one without taylor swift just putting out a f u vinyl or uh because i feel like a vinyl or my fans gonna
buy it anyway vinyl right and her album goes uh all the way back up to number one so as far as the album
ice man we still don't know when it's coming out but i did want to talk about the k9 track
feature and give you on because it's straight fire i mean analytic dreams video on spotify to see this
particular account where you can listen to the song because i'm not gonna play it
obviously so with that been said click my link to your my bio let me know on one of my
social media's what do you think about Drake party next door and givion's version of k9 and
do you prefer this one over the playbook cardi version of canine and ultimately do you think
we'll get ice man soon or do you think it'll be mid to late 2026
