Now, of course, after I finished watching the entire Iceman episode one, I was just thinking to myself.
So where? So what then? So what, big dog?
Because of course, I was thinking to myself, so what? So what now? Of course, at the end of the day, the goat, the mascot of hip-hop, has returned with new installments to his next project that is and will be titled Iceman.
man. Now, of course, for longtime listeners of the podcast, you already know, I don't know how in the world I got this information.
Obviously, you know, I probably just made it up way back then, right? But as far as Iceman specifically,
just know I revealed the title for this project back in November of 2024. And if you don't believe me,
just look up Iceman analytic dreams with a Z and they look at the release date. So with that being said.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
You know, usually I covered new music earlier as far as winning releases.
But, you know, something just told me that I should probably wait.
Even before any of the post happened today, I was like, let me just wait for a little bit.
Because, you know, obviously I'm not having any information given to me, right?
Because that would be insane.
Like, who in the world would be watching this from the OVO camp?
So obviously, I was just waiting and waiting.
And of course, it eventually came.
We'll pause.
you guys see that's the problem so with that being said iceman episode one is totally
finished and as far as the live stream i believe you can't pull it up i think in general you would
have had to watch it as soon as it came out um so when i was watching it obviously i took a lot of
notes and things of that nature but then a lot of other people took a lot of notes because you know
besides the point of people calling him a pdf with no proof everybody was tuned in to this live
stream so with that being said the main thing I want to let you know is that it did
happen on Independence Day which is definitely an interesting strategy especially
the way that Kendrick was releasing his certain tracks on certain Canadian
holidays it really matches up as far as Drake trying to rebut have a rebuttal
as far as putting certain stuff out on American holidays and of course it's just
the pettiness to the highest level but of course both of these superstars are
meticulous in the way
they construct the marketing strategies, which is why they've been running hip hop for quite some time
as far as 2024 and 2025, specifically being the only hip hop artists to really compete with the
other superstars and other genres. And if you don't believe me, all you got to do is just go to the
charts. Objectively speaking, Kendrick, Drake, and Playbric Cardi, I guess, are one of the top-tier
performers as far as engagement not quality as far as engagement and consumption in hip hop compared to the
rest of the field as with drake some sexy songs for you is the 18th most played album in the world
with kendrick kendrick's album is currently the 14th most played album in the world as far as
gnx and then when it comes to singles nokea is the 16th most played track in the world been on our
charts for about 19 weeks so some will say that's a bona fide hit
for Drake obviously not his standards as far as not being in the top five of a top 10 but it's still
in a top 20 which is a significant accomplishment being 19 weeks into um this the cycle and then we have
the other track somebody loves me with party next door being the 50th most played track in the world
that's been on the charts for about 19 weeks and of course size 7 i mean um white tank top i mean
my fault kendrick uh kendrick yeah Kendrick has four tracks on the charts which technically is two more
than Drake but to be a well actually scissors on two of those tracks so I'm taking two off so
technically I think they're tied but whatever Kendrick has four tracks on the charts as
Luther is the number six most played track in the world been on the charts about 31 weeks of course
that's with Siza and then when you come to 30 for 30 his second most popular track that's also
with Siza and that's the 29th most played track in the world been on the truss about 27 weeks
now of course if you knew just though this is the notorious bass effect so we get into the game
Maming and music IPs that affect the masses.
So that being said, TV off is the third most popular track from Kendrick,
and that's been on the charts for about 31 weeks, which is a huge accomplishment.
Definitely the most popular track from Kendrick himself off of G&X.
Oh, my fault.
He actually has another feature on it and his lefty gunplay.
Now, with that one, I'm not trying to disrespect lefty,
but I'm just going to say I think Kendrick had more to do with that going popular than this feature, right?
So Kendrick featured a lefty gunplay with TV office, the 46 most popular track in the world, been on the charts for about 31 weeks.
And of course, his fourth most popular track is Picaboo, which is the 70th most popular track in the world, been on the charts for about 31 weeks.
So of course, when it comes to Drake, when it comes to Kendry, no other hip-hop artist is out here competing at this height as far as against other superstars and other genres.
you can't find another hip hop artist besides drake and kendry if you if you want to count playbricardi
as far as his album i guess you can but as far as singles specifically drake kendry and then of course
big exa plug but you know of course with his albums being entitled take care you know what i'm saying
i try not to cover that one i mean that was just blatant disrespect anyways again back into
drake and his iceman episode one it happened today of course well if you're listening to
to this in the future it happened July 4th on YouTube it was a whole live stream and it was
set in a Toronto warehouse featuring trucks with the Iceman branding and of course the way that
Drake transitioned from the different scenes he was showcasing because analytic dreams video on
Spotify to see the video along with the audio but I was just going to show you out some of the
scenes from the live stream so in general there's multiple scenes he was showing and these
with some of them so analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio but
this is some of the scenes they were showing during the live stream uh really reminded me of a kisonnet
type of setup as far as um the production quality as far as a live stream being specific because you
know of course kai then and uh he didn't uh invent music videos and things of that nature but of course
when it comes to the live stream and aspect the different scenes and the way they set it up to go
into different transitions i think kisonnette's team is one of the best
if not the best currently probably him mr b some would say speed but it's really the locations
where he's at as far as the live stream and aspect not really the actual format of the format
like i think that's more kison nestling but anyways uh that was a little content created a side tangent
so these were the scenes from the ice man live stream as you can tell ice man branding is all over
this warehouse and of course there was a a break room there was a break room and that's when drake came
out and essentially showcase the ultimate single that he will be putting out for the summer
titled what did i miss now with that being said obviously i was very excited because drake's my
favorite artist ice man episode one i think is and was a success as far as doing what it needed to do
having a lot of people tuned in obviously there was a 30-minute delay because you know rappers they
really don't understand time like that they say one time they show up two hours later
so you know you just got put up with it but um as far as what did i miss the visuals as far as
a specific track now i think i could put up the snippet of that because like i said the live stream is
completely gone so i can put up the video i believe let me see yeah so here's the video for what did i
miss so essentially drake came out and let me see i don't get oh can i play the audio okay so drake came out
and basically um he was sitting in the lunchroom table so this is a
is this TVs like as far as far as the outside perspective Drake is sitting in a lunchroom he
grabbed something out of a microwave sat down about to eat and then this is what the TV was and it
zoomed in on a TV and then this one that's when the single what did I miss play from so when
it comes to the video this is what looks like right here so analytic dreams video on
Spotify to see the video along with the audio but essentially speaking the way that the
transition set up especially the wait time into the actual reveal of the trailer I mean
of the single i thought it was phenomenal and of course when it comes to the track i actually
like this track and before you say oh you like every drake uh drake track that is far from the case
that's literally one of his latest tracks as far as with smiley two monsa i said that's one of
drake's worst tracks of all time but then you know what i'm saying i was like to him
look at the state of hip-hop like what's going to and that happened june 13th 2025 so safe to say
i always listen to drake's music compared to his own music and then that's what my review
comes from so as far as this specific track is definitely reminded me of an anthem i do believe when it
comes to an anthem like single this is what drake was going for because as far as nokea i think
that was more experimental but people who don't know me personally as soon as that album came out
that was the first track i put up because i knew that this was it i knew that nokea was definitely a hit
as far as this particular track it reminds me more of a god's plan as far as the overall anthem type of
a pathway it just depends on how people are going to respond to listening to it's a PG
podcast but let's just say meet writing and hating type lyrics going at certain people
certain individuals when you're literally suing for the damages that was done to you
by another rapper that's the most that's the simplest way I could put it so as far as
aggressive versus going at people talking about people
being a rapper in the sport getting defeated objectively because you said in court because i've
covered the actual drake lawsuit if you want to type that uh if you want to look that up just type in
let me see uh let me see yeah okay so just type in UMG analytic dreams with the z and it should
pop up on whatever platform you listen to podcast on so in general i broke this lawsuit down like a
kilo of myles irs drake literally said in the lawsuit hey i lost brand deals i lost sponsorships
I lost all type of things because of that not like us anthem, right?
So objectively, Drake lost.
That's what they're saying in the lawsuit.
That's what the whole defamation is about.
And of course, when it comes to the bots and paola, that's a whole other side of the lawsuit,
which you can hear when I deep dive into it specifically in my UMG segment.
Anyways, as far as it specifically, I like it.
I think it's an anthem.
The only reason I'm having some hesitancy towards it is because of the content.
The lyrical content is not going to be believable because it's like if a gangster
the rapper got caught snitching and now kept coming out talking about oh we kill rats we hate rats
like hold up now i know that ain't who i think it is drake out here talking about oh we we pop it now
we uh taking like literally the the clip i played at the beginning right as far as him uh talking
tough during like some heckler coming up to him which you know it's granted because like why are you
coming up to drake while he's trying to ride around in his iceman van promoting his music right and he was
talking tough to that person but in general as far as the lyrical content i think i could pull this up so i can
specifically quote um so what did i miss right what did my miss has a specific track on a specific
verse where he was going at people because he was talking about okay yeah here we go he said okay
let me pull this up because y'all gonna think i'm joking literally albara graham said in verse two
people get punched in
remember there's a PG podcast so I'm gonna you know
take out the cuss words and replace them
people get punched in the face on some
TLC
poop
on a dead guy
so at first glance you're probably thinking
I know that ain't that's the same man
that been suing his
company his
major backing
backer as far as his entire musical career
anyways let's keep going
people get punched in the face on some
TLC poop on the dead guy.
Some TLC because my guy, you gonna need a chilly ice pack for your left eye.
Hmm.
So a lot more tough talk.
I'm back in your city tonight.
Oh, he's continuing with the tough talk.
Walking around with my head high.
I saw a bro at the pop out with them, but been meat riding gang since headlines.
Now that's specifically for LeBron James.
if you don't believe me
just know
just know that's specifically
for lebron james and if you don't believe me even more
even after you know with no proof you know of course
because i said at the beginning of the segment certain things that you can pinpoint
but whatever as far as drake there's this thing called the irish
the fighting irish freestyle guess when that was released
january well not exactly but as far as when i covered it january 3rd
2025 i believe it was released like a day or two before that but essentially
the fighting irish freestyle you
Y'all want to know who LeBron's high school, what high school he played with?
Let me see.
If I can pull this up, I quick.
All right.
So as far as LeBron James High School, he essentially went to St. Vincent, St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio.
Y'all want to know what the jerseys look like?
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going to?
So anyways, going back to the lyrics, I saw Braun at the popout with them, but been meat riding gang since headlines.
Now, of course, LeBron's not going to respond because there's a lot of things that Drake said in the fighting Irish freestyle, which if you literally type in Irish analytic dreams with a Zia should pop up as far as my coverage of that freestyle.
Essentially speaking, Drake exposed that man.
And the way he exposed them, I do not co-sign.
You know, they say don't hate the player, hate the game.
I think in general, Drake was hating both.
He was hating the player and the game.
He was like, hold on now.
Ain't no way I've been helping you with this, this, and that.
And you a whole married, let me chill.
So anyways, with that being said,
Drake's single, what did I miss, was revealed during the Iceman episode.
And then we had, what else?
Okay, let me go back to this.
And then we had other tracks that was revealed,
such as Face Fire, which was a one dance type of track.
That's one of the tracks that a lot of people missed as far as the coverage.
They don't understand that, well, not understand, but they didn't see that Drake was
promoting different tracks off of the Ice Man project.
So there was Supermax, which a lot of people covered.
It was What Did I Miss, which is the commercial anthem that he's, I think he's going to put that out at midnight, but don't quote me on that.
And then there's the Iceman overall episode one, basically just showcasing that this is going to be a continuation of the series.
um face fire which is a one dance type of track that we haven't heard before and then we have brian
steel freestyle by smiley right i don't know if it's going to be titled brian still but of course
smiley had his own freestyle off of off of uh this live stream which tells me that this entire
mixtape is going to have specific tracks from ovo members specifically to them so i think
smiley is going to have his own track off of this ice man project now am i saying it's going to be like
an album i do believe at the end of day i do believe this is not going to be his um his album
because he has a whole album out rnb wise with party next door that's 21 tracks i think is one of
his best albums of all time and i know there's a hot take but if you listen to the album i
think it just gets better over time like every time i listen to when he's gone or die trying
or somebody loves me like i just realized that this is a classic body of work from drake paul
you guys see that's the problem you know did he to mess up the game for all of us we got to pause everything
even seems like you know what I'm saying so anyways um and then yeah so that was it so there was a supermax
reveal the what did I miss reveal the face fire review and then a brian still freestyle review
on the iceman episode one and at the end of the day I just want to let y'all know that when it comes
to Drake this whole entire project is just going to be him talking about what he said and what
that i missed basically talking about how people switched up on him how in general he can't believe how
some people that he helped out flipped on him but of course that's how it goes and he talked about
talking to taylor but with that being said we're going to specifically dive into every single track
as far as super max what did i miss face fire and brian still so as far as this coverage we're
going to continue it on those particular tracks so with that being said uh let's get into supermax
right now
