We have entered into the part of promotion where we are talking about posts because of course with Elon Musk, they are now called posts instead of tweets. So with ex posts is still a certain type of marketing strategy that you have to use. And for Team Dreamville to be tweeting out for all the dogs tonight, basically promoting support. recording the goat because Drake has showed up for Jay Cole via Dreamfield so many different times. It makes sense that this would be a post for the album. But if you go in the comment section, that's where it gets a little spicy. And that's what I want to spend in this segment talking about. Because a lot of people are thinking that Jay Cole would end up on this album.

Like somebody said, I'm not trying to disrespect. I don't know how to say that name. reckon germane feature on it see i'm not the only one that calls j cole germane a lot of people online and in real life who know me think it's a condescending way to address j cole when that's literally his name like what y'all think the j dot stands for you know that y'all jill y'all think his actual name is jay like come on now so anyways let's keep going somebody thinks that jermane's going to be featured on it basically asking a question and more of replies if you keep going you got to be careful on Twitter you know I mean X my fault formally Twitter X nowadays be looking like the

other X site but we're going to leave that for another another day so anyways J-co is a yeah okay so here we go one more time hopefully we see Cole on this album don't tell me there's a cold feature on that team See, let's hope for a J-Cole feature. I don't think this is a J-Cole feature on this album. I do believe that because of the amount of times that Drake has showed up for J-Cold via Dreamville, Dreamville, Jake Cole has probably, you know, took a liking to how Drake supported him in a way that it seemed like Kendrick was going to support him. And I know every time I bring up Kendrick, everybody thinks I hate him, because whenever I'm talking about,

Drake specifically and mentioned Kendrick actually it's it's both it's 50-50 because I say Kendrick is the greatest rapper of all time but then you get into the aspect of Kendrick and him disappearing

for years is a problem I don't care how you want to slice it that's a problem for one of our greatest rappers of all time right so with Drake supporting Jay Cole like a lot of fans thought Kendrick would have because if you don't remember uh well if you go down memory lane

with me Kendrick and j cole used to uh rap over each other's beats right and it used to be called black friday not only that Kendrick and j cole had a upcoming supposedly reportedly they had an upcoming collab album similar to like Drake and futures what a time to be alive as far as like hype not not subject matter wise of course but as far as hype and anticipation Kendrick and j cole had that type of hype for that collab album it's 2023 and guess what that collab album has not and will not ever happened. But what has happened throughout that duration is Kendrick's went to Ghana, so he's went missing. Drake's been running the charts in and out of every single year and letting you know about it too. And Jaycoe has been doing this thing every now again. And what I believe

was his best album with the offseason. See, that's another compliment to Jayco. I'm keeping track. But anyways, besides that, We have to get into the nitty-gritty details, right? Because don't get it twisted. Just because Dreamville tweeted out in support of Drake is still smoke for Germain, because I will not let him live down the way that everybody calls him the top three rapper of this generation. But he constantly accepts third place.

I don't know any rapper who's even top 100 that would accept. third place the way that Jay Cole has. I think the only reason people even put Jay Cole in the top three is because of this, I don't even know the word, because of the way it solidifies Drake and Kendrick as top two, right? Because Jay Cole has obviously said that he's okay with sliding in third like stolen bases. I'm like, what in the world is this man talking about? I've never, ever heard a rapper, except not even being runner up, except just being on the podium.

Like, you know, the Olympics, when they have the podium at the end of the day and somebody's the winner, somebody's the runner up and, you know, the other guy just, you know, gets to stand on the podium with them. That's what Jay Cole is. He accepts that gladly, happily accepts third place and is one of the most frustrating things I've ever seen in life, which is why I brought this up, right? On the latest track, Secret Recipe, which is another addition to my point, he said, quote, he faced time to ask for a feature and saw the face of death. I'm on your song. Your streams going up. Not quite the Drake effect, but don't complain.

Take what you get and cut the label check. Now, before y'all say I'm hating, do y'all think Kendrick? would ever say that? Do y'all think Travis Scott would ever say that? Do y'all even think future would say that? The way that Jay Cole is just so happy with being third place is upsetting for somebody like me who just believes he's completely overrated. I don't even have him in the top five of the best rappers slash artists of this generation, right?

I have Drake. I have Kendrick. I have Future. I have Nika Minaj. And then I have Travis Scott. Like, Jay Cole, for me, is not even in top five. I know people will be like, oh, what about this? What about that?

He went platinum with no features. Well, if Drake put out an album with no features, guess what's going to happen. If Kendrick put out of an album with no features, like everybody on that list, it's like, it's very nitpicky type of arguments. But this isn't a Jermaine Cole segment. That was a complete side tangent because I had to get to do that. that off my chest because the way and this is the most recent j-co feature the most recent so i don't want to hear any germane fans say i'm digging because i know last time i talked about him i brought up the

um the verse where he wrapped over um drake's beat i forget what he called it i forget what he called it but anyways he even he wrote he he wrapped over the beat of another artist that he said he was lesser than like at that point, I'm like, bro, I can't respect it. Like, imagine Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, nobody's doing that. So I just wanted to point that again, point that out again, because
