Starting point is 00:00:00 This verse starts as my snipers hit their marks. Your guards fall down from a rifle to the heart. Like clap clap, let them fall slow. I know you had your fears, but you can't let them all go. And most women are motivated so I act accordingly. But this is so refreshing that it means a little more to me. Now, if you want to know the background to the lyric I just spat out, back in 2011, Drake saw the beginning of his success, of course, because he's the goat, and goats last the test of time, and it's 2023, and he started in 2021. You do the math. So anyways, he's professing his love for certain someone, and it's just very interesting and, I would say, iconic and on brand for Aubrey Graham to be going out his way to profess his love for a significant other that could be, unbothered to even check on him.
Starting point is 00:01:10 So anyways, Janaya Eiko and Drake do not make too many, has not put out too many tracks in the near or in the recently. Recently they have not put out any tracks together. And it's interesting. Because obviously, Drake and Janayko
Starting point is 00:01:31 have a lot of chemistry. But then, guess what? You get into a person like Big Sean. Big Sean comes into the picture because I'm the biggest Big Sean fan or I was back in the day before he left me in my high school days but you know it's okay
Starting point is 00:01:45 and then I hopped on a Drake bandwagon you know what I'm saying so back then I was a big Sean fan literally like the biggest and he got with Ariana Grande and that's not what I'm going with this he left Ariana Grande and then he got with Jena Eaco
Starting point is 00:02:03 and I'm guessing that Jenae Aecoe. was to catch because this man put out a whole joint album literally, what's this call? Let me see if I can find this because I'm, I forget the name of the group. They literally made a group. Here we go. 2088.
Starting point is 00:02:25 They made a whole group, man. Like, come on. Like, what are we doing, man? Anyways, so Drake and Janaya Eko Labs fell short because Big Sean wanted to wife her up. Which, if you ever seen Janaya Eko, you will understand that Big Sean Dan make the most outlandish decision by wiping up Janaya Eko.
Starting point is 00:02:45 And then you'll realize that a lot of other musicians probably wanted to, which is why we even got those type of lovey-dovey tracks from Drake and the Jenaeiko in the first place. But if you also, also, 28 lasted for one album in 2016. They never put out another album and the name 288 just fell to the wayside. But, you know, that's just, that's besides the point. You look up Drake and Janaya Eiko, right? Drake and Janaya Eko. I love looking this up because the amount of classics you get from them, like from time, you know, like from time, literally, the classic that it was.
Starting point is 00:03:21 And you really didn't get anything else. I mean, you got the, you got a lot of different tracks that are leaked like this one. The July track is not on any DSPs. So that's why I wanted to cover it. And then you have other tracks like, wait, hold up. Oh, that's it. You know what I mean? Like Big Sean really came in.
Starting point is 00:03:39 it was like, hey, you're not going to collab with none of these other males. You're going to collab with me, and then that's it. And then guess what? That's what happened. So this is a testament to what happens when a guy wins over a girl. I mean, she was doing collabs with Kendra Marr, doing collabs with Drake, doing collabs with Chalachianabino, doing a collab with future. Basically, what I'm saying is, Jenea Aiko is all over the place.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Musically wise, of course, I'm not insinuating anything else. But musically, she was all over. over the place as far as lending people her talents but as soon as she got with bichon they created 28 mysteriously drake never got another feature from jane and that's what i wanted to lead off on so that's basically it uh july by july came out in 2011 of course um on jane iaco's debut mixtape i mean imagine being there for her debut mixtape and then yeah and then the guy just comes in just swoops her away but anyway that's besides point so um the biggest thing I want to say is it's a shame. We never got more Drake and Janelle A. A. Co. Music.
Starting point is 00:04:45 And Big Sean used to be my favorite rapper. Then he stopped making music at a pivotal time in my career. And guess what? I found a new rapper, aka The Goat. So it's really a testament to when a guy sways a girl to be his significant other and, you know, to happily love and stuff. And now we can't get the music we want because that girl is in love with somebody else. Just a sad story overall. So anyways, I'll basically say all that to say that Big Sean messed up any future Gena Aiko and Drake Collapse. So anyways, click my link to your bio.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about the past Janaya Eko and Drake Collabs we've gotten? And do you blame Big Sean for not having more Janaya Eko and Drake music?
