Back in September 2022, Drake unfollowed Ice Spice from Instagram.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that's the type of hard-hitting journalism you get at the notorious mass.
Okay, all jokes that's aside.
Ice Spice opened up track number 19 on some sexy songs for you titled Glorious.
Now, of course, Drake and Ice Spice had an interesting relationship to the point where a lot of people thought he was taking shots at her, me included, as far as on his.
album with 21 Savage on the track titled Back Outside Boys.
So it's interesting to hear Ice Spice open up this track and give the sample.
It's more of like a sample of her interview, I believe, on this specific track.
And if you don't know, Ice Spice has given Drake credit as far as being more of a mentor figure
and endorsing her music and things of that nature and, you know, giving her the coach vibes and
things of that nature and it's not a personal relationship but of course now with this particular
track we have to revisit to drake and ice spice relationship because now with ice spice being
seemingly ice cold pun intended and frozen as far as her trajectory as far as either upwards
or downwards we don't know what she's at musically so her being on this project is definitely a
huge look for her at this very moment but when she was first blowing up of course with munch and
things of that nature all the way back in, I think it was 2022 when she became popular with a
much in parentheses filling you. I think with her and Drake at first, I think Drake was trying
to sign her, kind of like he was trying to do the forebats and, you know what I mean, use her sound
and then just do away with her. But, you know, hey, Ice Spice had a great marketing strategy as far as
as pairing herself with Nikki, but I have a question for you. Have y'all seen Nikki and Ice Spice?
Anyways, you know, I don't want to start any drama or spread any facts, right?
But anyways, as far as that relationship going sour, now she's back again giving her vocal samples on the track, Glorious, with Drake on this collaborative album with Party Next Door that comes at track number 19.
So now, when you're about to wrap up the album, Drake is giving his UK flow having Ice Spice as a sample.
Of course, I think I'm pretty sure party next doors on this.
I don't think it's like a Drake solo.
he came in somewhere i forget but anyways for the most part i think this track is uh it goes up there
with celibacy and crying at chanel as far as the missteps of the album like drake rapping over uk
drill beats i think it's something of the past and him continuing to do it to me doesn't make any sense
especially when you have artists like central cd doing that at a high level consistently over uk drill beats
So this will be this, this would be more of a misstep to me when it comes to the project, but I don't know for Ice Spice fans out there, I guess it's the W as she's still receiving acknowledgement from the biggest artist in the hip-hop game.
So for her fan base, they're probably enjoying that.
But on the side of Drake and Ice Spice's relationship, it's very interesting how it all comes back full circle.
So with that being said, let's get into the track number 20, when he's gone.
Very dramatic title.
