But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
Track number 21 out of, guess what?
Track 21.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we have received, I mean, we have gotten to the end of this classic body of work.
And since we got to the end of the project, how to get to the end of the Grisio with the penal on the front, pause.
But of course, for the kids out there, it's just murky water.
So with that being said, with this being,
the last track off of the album i have to come clean this may be one of the greatest projects
drake has ever released i ain't gonna lie to you man i ain't even gonna lie to you but then you know
i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on like sometimes
you listen to a album once you're like you know what maybe i'm hyping it up maybe it's just not that
good you know maybe i need to listen to it again you know really get the but what do kbops be saying
maybe it went over my head like maybe it was just actually garbage like i didn't get the real meaning right
Where's Uncle Sam when you need them?
Anyways.
So, all jokes aside.
One thing is for certain.
Size 7, I mean, white tank top can never, ever meet the goat's versatility when it comes to quality of music.
Specifically, in rap, I believe that is where size 7, I mean white tank top, I mean Kendrick.
I don't know.
Why keep forgetting his name?
Kendrick comes out on top because he specifically is putting on a masterclass on how to put words together as far as the rap art form.
When it comes to variety in the way that Drake could give you sonically pleasing tracks, hard hitting club anthems, singing in Spanish, country infused beats, all a UK drill type of songs, it's apparent.
Drake is probably the most versatile hip-hop musician that we've ever received and let Ebro tell it
that's a detrimental effect to his career how does that make sense the world may never know
so anyways at the end of this album I felt the same way pause no ditty as the track ended off in the
you know subsequently the album ended off with the more I get
The more I'm greedy, real loving.
The more I get, the more I want.
Sometimes I feel like the more the Rosen,
because the more I like it, the more I want it.
Pause no ditty.
Twice.
Got to keep saying that.
So with this album, it let me know that Drake is far from giving us trash projects
as far as from a body of work being considered.
Obviously, this is a collab album between Drake and Party Next Door.
But at the end of the day, the elephant in the room is not the quality of music that Drake gives us consistently.
It's him crashing out, becoming a hip-hop Karen, becoming a blue-collar snitch, and sending a lawsuit UMG's way over defamation for white tank top.
I mean, a size seven's district, not like us, right?
So with that being considered, I do believe when it comes to the overall.
trajectory of this project, UMG is going to do everything in their power to step on this album.
I've reiterated this sentiment throughout my entire first impressions of this album because I do believe it.
UMG is going to make an example out of Drake because he thought he was bigger than the system
to the point where the same people that helped him get to the heights that he is at as far as the
exposure. He tried to expose that whole system because he liked.
lost the rap battle. Now, the effective that is, they are going to let you know they can replace
you at any moment because currently they have 64% of the entire music market share and their top dogs
currently, in order, mind you, is the weekend that currently has the most play album in the world.
Kendrick Lamar currently has the fourth most play album in the world. Billy Eilich currently has
the fifth, Chappelle Rowan has the six, Sabrina Carpenter has the seventh, Morgan Wallet has
the eighth, Taylor Swift has the ninth. You get what I'm saying, right? UMG has effectively
replaced Drake, not just by using one artist, by having a bunch of popular artists that can
culminate into what Drake was as far as being an attribute to UMG. So now Sabrina Carpenter just put out
her deluxe edition for short and sweet which project do you think umg is going to support more
Sabrina carpenter's deluxe edition for short and sweet are drake and party next door's
album that they just put out pretty obvious that they're going to support Sabrina carpenter
so i do believe this would probably not look the greatest in sales and i'm predicting i hope
i'm hoping i'm wrong but i'm predicting that this would probably be the worst selling project ever
in drake's career his lowest ever was like what
honestly never mind i think that's so like over i think that's all around like 24 000 first week i
predict this album we end up selling below that and if it does above it i would come back on here and
say i was completely wrong but as far as UMG sending a message the exposure
no matter how great the quality it is on this body of work and i do think it's phenomenal like
since we're at the end of it i give my first impression score 10 out of 10 i ain't gonna lie to you
the only missteps i think was crying in chanel the first half i thought that was a misstep the second half
of celibacy and glorious with the ukbara i think that's just like even with ice spice on it like
why is it on there right so i think those were missteps but that's three out of 21 tracks in my
first impressions so technically i can't give it 10 i give a 9 at 10 right i think i had to sit back and
actually take some time to listen to this album again and again and again to see why I really
rank into Drake's discography because I do believe that this may go up there as one of the
greatest Drake albums of all time.
So with that being said, now that we're finished with the entire album of some sexy songs
for you who said that analytic dreams don't cover music, you know what I'm saying?
As far as the music industry and that's getting into all different artists, I still found
the time to dive strictly into my favorite musician and cover music.
his entire body of work so with that being said make sure to follow hit the bell icon to be
notified when i post things in nature click my link to my bio to follow me on my social medias
and also let me know if you've listened to this album in totality what is your favorite track
off of the album and more importantly the elephant room do you think umg will end up stepping on
this album to make it drake's worst selling album of all time
