First previewed by Adin Ross on November 10–11, 2025, the viral snippet instantly took over X, YouTube, and hip-hop timelines. Recorded back in the For All The Dogs (2023) era and nearly cut from both that album and Carti’s long-delayed I AM MUSIC, “Slide In” flips Luther Vandross’ classic “A House Is Not a Home” sample into moody trap-R&B with Swamp Izzo tags intact. Drake delivers toxic-relationship flexes on the melodic chorus while Carti unleashes chaotic opium energy, ad-libs, and aggressive bars in the second half. Fans are calling it an instant banger and potential song of 2026. Analytic Dreamz analyzes the tense Drake-Carti history post-2024 beef, Kendrick Lamar’s influence, removed ad-libs on “No Face,” and whether this vaulted gem will finally drop on Drake’s rumored ICEMAN album or stay a legendary leak. Starting point is 00:00:03 You know what? Good for him. Good for Playboy Cardi that he left off one of Drake's monumental features. It ended up going triple styrofoam at the Grammys. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I don't know what you're saying. Well, Drake doesn't have that many nominations either. And while you're definitely correct, he only has one to be exact as far as somebody loves me with party. next door for best melodic rap performance safe to say that's more than zero you guys see that's the problem now all pettiness to the side the reason why i wanted to cover this as far as playbric card is because one he did leave off a monumental verse off of his album i am music that definitely
Starting point is 00:00:53 did not hurt the cells because i am music i think had the best rap debut as far as in this first week with 298,000 units sold. So as far as having the biggest first week sales, PlayBerry Cardi definitely hosts that title. When it comes to Drake, I think he followed up with some sexy songs for you, with Party Next Door. And that debuted, actually,
Starting point is 00:01:19 I don't know if I Am Music came out before or after some sexy songs for you because I think, I think when it comes to I.M. music, it was delayed so much that everybody forgot when it was supposed to come out but let me see i am music so that came out 14 of march jerry february so no uh some sexy songs for you that came out february uh came out before i am music so drake did two hundred ninety thousand out the gate with parted next door and then i am music interestingly enough did eight thousand units more i'm not gonna pull an a Aubrey Cram.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Aubrey Graham. Is it okay? I got my dope on me? Because I don't want to turn it to Aubrey Cairn. You know what I'm saying? But hey, 8,000 more. It's interesting. It's a small number.
Starting point is 00:02:06 You know what I mean? It's almost like something like bots. Anyways, when it comes to Playboy Cardi, specifically, the slide-in track, that's what I'm talking about. So the leak track that I've been beating around the bush, there's this leak track titled Slide-in with Drake and Playboy Cardi. That's straight a phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:02:21 It has the sample that you hear on Kanye's track, but more specifically Kanye West and Jamie Fox's track slow jams right so it's really from Luther Vandros a house is not a home
Starting point is 00:02:37 but of course it's famously used and Kanye West and Jamie Fox track slow jams so when you look at that well I guess it's a it is Twisters track but I don't think anybody remembers it as Twist's track no disrespect to Twister
Starting point is 00:02:52 but anyways the same Sample's phenomenal. That's basically what I'm trying to say. Us not hearing that sample on Cardi's album, I would say it's a Drake play. I think Drake can get certain samples clear that he's on, but if he's off of it, they're not going to clear it, right?
Starting point is 00:03:10 And similar thing happened when Drake and Future collaborated on Wait for You, featuring Tim's because it was using Tim's track higher. Well, at first, Future wanted to use Tim's track higher. Tim's was like, you're not using my already popular song. Mind you, that track higher was popular in the year that they sampled it. So it's already a monumental track for my Afrobeast type of artist. You already know the last time Afrobeats and Drake collab, you ended up getting one dance, right? And because I believe one dance had Wiz kid.
Starting point is 00:03:44 So anyways, when Afrobees and Drake collide, it's just like magic in the room, right? So Tim's, no, no, no, Future got Drake. and Drake got the sample clear and Tim's ended up being on the track but that wouldn't have happened without Drake essentially what I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing
Starting point is 00:04:04 has happened here you hear that famous sample there's no way Playbricardi heard that sample and was like I didn't want to use it for my album but you come to realize Drake probably said hold up now is it okay I got my dope on me
Starting point is 00:04:17 if you're gonna take me off the track you can't use a sample But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now, of course, this is me just speculating. You know, my sources are, I made it up. So at the end of day, when it comes to Aiden Ross preview in this track, sounded phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Drake is reportedly working on, or not reportedly, he's working on Iceman. I thought the album was coming soon. I guess not. I guess when it comes to Iceman, Kyson had the Random Man out of 2025 because, you know, there's nowhere to be found. Iceman, Bobby Drake, Drake, Drake Graham, nowhere to be found. We looking around like, hold on now. We may have to get to snitching. Who in the world has heard New Aubrey music?
Starting point is 00:05:00 Not time to get to snitching. I ain't going to lie to you. So when it comes to Drake's Iceman, safe to say, it's probably going to be pushed into 2026. I mean, I'm looking at it. He's like, I don't know where else he will drop the album. No way. He drops it in the Christmas month. No way he drops it into Christmas month.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Anyways, so that being said, that's basically all I want. All I wanted to talk about is to basically give the mascot, the epitome of greatness, which is Drake, his flowers, but also condemn Playboy Cardi for taking away one of the greatest, or could have been one of the greatest verses of hip hop in 2025 if he would have just left that boy, Aubrey Graham on his album. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. Now, that being said, click my link tree on my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Drake and Playboy Carty's leak track slide in? And what do you think about the verse? You think I'm overhyping it? Or do you believe that's one of the better verses of the year?
