Starting point is 00:00:03 We have Big Boy at 8, two chains at 9, Little Baby at 10, 21 Savage at 11, and Playboy Cardi at 12. I can't get jiggied with that. Playboy Cardi couldn't rap a GIF. Have you ever played? Playboy Cardi's music? Not a gift. Of course I have. He wraps in like Batman's Saturday.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Those supposed to be easy to rap. You think Playboy Cardi sucks? Absolutely. I wouldn't say that. You think he sucks? Am I alone here? Okay. Yeah, I don't think he sucks.
Starting point is 00:00:27 No, he's terrible. But I wouldn't, I don't know if I would have him about it. Yeah, I love Angela E. He just always keeping the peace. You know what I mean? because in today's society that's what we need more of just keeping the piece but sometimes you got to be like b dot and just tell it like it is because guess what for the past year or two play break cardi has been getting off on straight vibes everything about his rise as far as the past
Starting point is 00:00:54 two years has been straight vibes now attach your name to Kanye time and time again and attach your name to other artists in the same manner of you trying to promote your own album that still to this day we don't know when it's releasing this man said his album been releasing for the longest and where is it y'all let me know what that playboy cardi album's at because he's been telling us that he was going to drop his album and guess what it's nowhere to be found because i think when he drops his album the album sales he won't be able to uh handle let's just put it like that so he keeps attaching his name to big artists and so i'm glad that somebody finally did the pull the uno reverse card and showcase how much he's actually not
Starting point is 00:01:43 influencing certain tracks musically because i think drake used playbordy's name for this specific track but he's using his musical talents in a very limited spectrum as far as his ad libs because he says no face and then that's it that's it that's only what they say in movies that's the only screen time he got like they limited him to the point where uh like in Deadpool 2 when that guy was talking to him and he said no more lines for you that's that's how drake did play with carty he was like hey you're famous for other things but musically you really not all that so just say no face and let's just call it a day because your name is all i need as far as getting the the younger demographics he even tuned in they be like oh it's drake and played with cardi whole time
Starting point is 00:02:37 this man just saying no face literally so with that being said it reminds me of when drake put out his uh dark lanes demo tape back in may 1st 20 20 now where am i going with this not you two was the first time i've ever seen chris brown disrespecting musically as it's not the wrong with being a background singer but when you're one of the not one of you know as disrespectful when you're the the most talented artist ever created. I think becoming somebody's background singer is beyond disrespectful. So the way Drake had Chris Brown basically singing his background vocals for Not You Two is similar to how he did play Breit Cardi on this track. Even though he did play Bracardi worse because he basically had him just doing one ad lib and then throwing him off of the track.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Having Chris Brown doing the background vocals, that's what that reminded me. of because Drake knows musically what Chris Brown can do but he chose just to have him sing in the background but as far as Playboy Cardi he's very much
Starting point is 00:03:47 limited in the quality level of music so having him say no face over and over again was the only screen time he was going to get on this two minute and 30-some second track so the reason why I say that is because Drake is going absolutely ballistic on this track
Starting point is 00:04:03 The start of it, and I'm sorry I'm going throughout Drake's discography, but I'm a Drake Stan, so these things just pop out to me. But the start of it reminds me of, is this the right track? Ah, okay, I found it. Yeah. So go back with me to October 5th, 2018, with one of the greatest songs ever created, Grey Star DSPs. Little Baby, Gunna, and Drake. Never recover. That track to this day.
Starting point is 00:04:39 one of the greatest hip hop tracks I've ever heard. So anyways, now in totality, never recover is obviously a better track than No Face. But the reason why I'm comparing No Face to Never Recovery is simply for the fact that the verse quality is at a level to where the vibe is the same. The quality level and the vibe is the exact same. I like how Drake is going at his opposition while also letting you know that he's glad that these people have showed their true intentions because now he gets to be over the moon because he gets to be relieved that he can now just fire on y'all instead of holding it back as far as what he's been doing because personally i think drake's lying i think if he could he would be kumbaya with every hip-hop artist known
Starting point is 00:05:31 the man i mean one of the biggest things to come out of the beef is that drake wanted Kendrick Lamar and first person shooters. So it's obviously not Drake creating these beasts. It's bigger than that and it's basically on the business side to where these beasts are created. Because now, you notice Drake getting certain deals
Starting point is 00:05:54 that people feel like is because of the culture and he's not really respecting his counter. counterparts the same way business-wise whenever they put out music together. To make it clearer, if you put out a track with Drake, you will be hard-pressed to get 40% of that track as far as the royalties, the points, no matter if it's your album, if it's somebody else's album, there's only few artists in the world that Drake would consider
Starting point is 00:06:30 going even half and half on. For the most part, his numbers is negotiated to a way, to a point to where if he's on the track with you, he basically owns the entire track. So do of that what you will. That is one of the main reasons everybody hates Drake, and one of the reasons they're going to continue to hate Drake, because if somebody is making all this money off of your music, even though they are the bigger artists, you're going to hold some type of animosity.
Starting point is 00:06:56 So Kendrick was probably like, no way am I hopping on the track where you're going to get most of the points, and it's going to be one of the biggest collabs of all time. So that's when we get. Forget the big three. It's just big meat. So now that I've basically in a roundabout way, talked about how Drake is just completely making enemies out of his strong business model.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Let's get into the quality of no face. So like I said, never recover is the type of vibe that I think no face completely nails. From the verse, from the tonality, the switch up of flows. more standout intermissions as far as the empty the clip part or is the over-the-moon flow. I think all of that combined is what makes this one of the better delivered tracks from Drake that I've heard in a long, long time. Now, in totality, the track is just okay. It's basically because of chorus.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I see what he's going for. It's more of a theatrical course. chorus, meaning that when he's performing this, this chorus is going to stand out amongst all the other choruses in the 100 gigabyte drops, right? Because it's basically the crowd screaming no face over and over and over, just like Fien for Travis Scott and guess who else was on the track, Playbird Cardi. So hopefully this is making, hopefully this is making sense to y'all as far as the correlations. It's not that difficult to figure out. So yeah, with that being, said Drake is completely going against all advice from Drake fans as far as taking a break and he's
Starting point is 00:08:42 putting our music every other week so with that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about Drake just constantly dropping and what has been your favorite Drake release as far as is a hundred gigabyte saga
