Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "DRAKE - PLOT TWIST"

Episode Date: August 30, 2024

Drake's Surprise Finsta DropsAnalytic Dreamz dives deep into Drake's recent surprise music drops.Drake, known for pushing boundaries, has unleashed three new tracks through his less-publicized... Instagram account, "@plottttwistttttt." Let's break down these surprise releases:"No Face" ft. Playboi Carti: This track is a fiery response to Drake's detractors. Lyrics like "I’m just so happy that n—s who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it," seem to target those who have spoken against him. Playboi Carti adds another layer of intensity to the track."SOD" (originally "Supersoak"): This song was initially a collaboration with Lil Yachty, but sample clearance issues led to his verse being removed. The title and some content might reference past feuds, but the overall vibe suggests Drake has moved on from direct confrontation."Circadian Rhythm": Fans speculate this track is a subtle reply to Kendrick Lamar's "6:16 in LA," where Lamar references "circadian rhythms." This hints at a potential continuation of their lyrical battle, albeit indirectly. These surprise drops follow Drake's activity on 100gigs.org, where he shared a massive collection of unreleased music. This period of high creative output suggests a potential larger project brewing. The use of "finsta" adds an interesting twist. Bypassing traditional release strategies, Drake connects directly with fans, creating a sense of surprise and exclusivity. This move could be a way to control his music's rollout, potentially fueled by leaks or a desire to keep fans engaged with fresh content.Reactions on social media (formerly known as X) are mixed. Some fans love Drake's lyrical comebacks, while others find certain aspects less impactful. The big question: are these standalone releases or teasers for a new album? With Drake's history of pre-album singles, anticipation is high.Drake's strategy reflects the growing trend of artists utilizing social media not just for promotion, but as the primary platform for releasing music, engaging with fans, and shaping the narrative around their art.Stay tuned as we analyze these tracks further and discuss their potential impact on the music scene. Starting point is 00:00:03 Drake is flooding the streets and as a Drake fan I cannot be happier because to review the goat just giving us an avalanche of content at this point in time in his saga as far as just coming off of completely being butchered and completely mutilated verbally. It just is an understanding of who we're actually talking about. Even though lyrically, we have officially been updated that he can never mess with Kendrick, which is okay. Artistry-wise and musically, the versatility is beyond on display. Beyond display? I don't know. It's one of those. Kendrick is nowhere to be found. Apparently he's dropping soon.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Like I've already said when I cover that rumor, I say he's not dropping anytime soon. Because if y'all don't know, not like us, it's literally one of the most successful tracks ever in life. So with that being considered, Kendrick is not trying to step on that at any stretch of the imagination.
Starting point is 00:01:27 So, Making not like us and then going away is definitely up Kendrick's alley. So what does Drake do? Guess what? I'm doing a complete opposite. I'm going to be in your face, pause until y'all don't want me to anymore. Which at every point that he dropped, I basically said, Drake, you need to take a break. But guess what?
Starting point is 00:01:50 He didn't change my mind. After hearing no face, after hearing circadian rhythm, I was like, you know what? this is some heat. I'm not going to say that Drake was dropping mid or trash. It was it was lukewarm. I think that's the same as middle because mid is like middle. So it was lukewarm. But with this latest three-pack, no face of circadian rhythm showcases the versatility at its highest level. And plot twist, which is the track that's supposed to come out soon, is apparently going to be something that blows people's mind. Just know you heard it here first. So the, biggest thing that I would guess is that he's going at somebody because who else and what else
Starting point is 00:02:35 does he have to uncover with already giving us so much content I remember when Drake said I got the footage of you bowing down but the footage is safe thank God another some some USB in safe thank God right what has Drake been dropping constantly he's been dropping content I mean, I'm not going to say it's from a USB, but it's from some type of storage device, right? A device, right? He has all this content and his database and he's been dropping it. So the plot twist, in my opinion, would be of exposure and exposing somebody. Who is that?
Starting point is 00:03:20 I don't know if it's Kendrick. I'm not going to completely just come out and say it's Kendrick because people love to forget that it was a 20 v1. Like there's a reason why Drake says it's a 20v1 because it actually was. And, you know, people just forgetting that, just forgetting that fact, which is beyond me. Like, imagine viewers in Drake's shoes
Starting point is 00:03:37 and he was again jump, but then one person was getting out of credit. He was like, wait, hold up now. Did the weekend not exist? A-Sab? Did he not exist? The Metro not exist? The future not exists?
Starting point is 00:03:48 Like, did Rick Ross not exist? Like, it was crazy. Like, people just forgot all type of stuff that would have helped Drake during the battle. So, which is okay. You know, that's how LeBron's treated. Everybody forgets how he broke all type of records and they just talk about him losing the most in the finals, right?
Starting point is 00:04:07 Well, I think that was, I think that was maybe the logo. I think Jerry West lost like 10 or 11 times in the finals. I don't know, I forgot. But you get what I'm saying. Like, you get to a point where people just hate on you for no reason. And that's where we are. That's where we are with Drake. That's why I try to point out the objective fact so people will go back out of La La Land.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Because I remember one time people were talking about Drake, people were talking about Kendrick, like he was on Drake's level and it's just like, Drake is competing with the Taylor Swift's of the world, the past artists who, you know, rest in peace, the Michael Jackson's of the world, the Beatles. Some of the Beatles, I think most of the Beatles are still alive. I don't know. I don't want to misspeak. But yeah, Drake's not competing with nobody in the hip-hop game currently. So when that is considered, you understand once you look at the objective fact of Kendrick, the weekend, future.
Starting point is 00:05:04 I mean, that alone is Avengers. Then you have production from Metro, Farrell. Don't forget, Farrell's in the beef, too. He don't like Drake. And all of them are coming together to take out Drake. I mean, you realize how big Drake actually is. It's not like Drake's just going against one person. But anyways, let's not revisit that.
Starting point is 00:05:23 what we are going to revisit is who will Drake be dissing on plot twist? I would guess it would have to be Metro. I think that's who he was talking about when he said, I got the footage of you bound down. But, well, I got video of you bound down, but the footage is safe. I think that's who he's talking about. Going at Kendrick would not make sense,
Starting point is 00:05:46 and I would highly advise, highly advise to not go at Kendrick. Because when you go at Kendrick, all logic goes out the window, and people just are on your side at all. And you're getting people on your side with all of these releases. So going at Kendrick will make people forget their logic and go back to Kendrick's side. Right. So I would not just Kendrick at all.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Yeah, please stay away from Kendrick. But as far as Metro, I think he's a good target as far as plot twist. And the only reason why I'm saying it like this is because, Hmm, can't say that. Uh, only reason I'm saying that like this is simply for the fact that this will be indeed a plot twist. A lot of people think he's going at Kendrick. But in all actuality, it was a lot of people that got out of line when they thought that Kendrick's W was their W.
Starting point is 00:06:49 So with that being considered. And the aftermath of YG and mustard albums flopping as far as first week sales is considered because LA COA was supposed to unite, right? So whenever that time came to capitalize off of LA success off of no not like us, Kendrick was nowhere to be found in the promotional tactics. I mean, as far as giving them a verse, as far as given them a verse. as far as giving him an IG post LA Unite I mean that's all you had to do
Starting point is 00:07:27 right every single time LA artists drop a album at least give him a post a story I thought you was in it for LA seemingly he was in it for himself but you know that's not surprising so anyways
Starting point is 00:07:39 what else I think there was something else I was wanting to get at I think that was basically it yeah man the ghost's about to drop whenever he drops plot twists just know there's going to be ramifications i wouldn't compare plot twist to like that as far as popping off beef but it's going to pop off something and do have that what you will so anyways click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you
Starting point is 00:08:12 think about drake's attempt to spark beef back up with his upcoming track plot twist and do you think is a good idea
