like my best friends know what i'm saying how do you and they both got to me through that because
there's been a bunch of times where i think you know i've never seen you be the guy not saying
you're not loyal to your friends but like you're cool with so many people yeah where you're not
the guy that just jumps on one side and be like you'll fuck you because he said so yeah you know
it seems like you be the mediator type person actually people be expecting me to pick a side
right and i lose a lot of friends like that right so if i'm cool with you
you and I'm cool with him and y'all beef and I still say what's up to both of y'all because I met
both of you at the same time yeah how am I wrong for that no no all right so as always the whole
beef as far as the industry right now is boosting sales so I have to give this breaking analysis
or breaking news that like that which is to track for
from Metro and Futures We Don't Trust You album is currently number two on the charts.
So the reason I'm saying that is because that track has been on the charts for about four weeks, I believe,
peaked at number one, of course, and it was just dethroned by Too Sweet by the artist Hozier.
I think that's how he said.
I don't know.
anyways the reason I say that is because this whole beef back and forth between a lot of different artists
is culminating in a way that results in increased sales which also means increased revenue now why am I
saying that Rick Ross jumped out and we're definitely going to get to his segment well we're going to get to his uh
disc track in a second I think it was called champagne moments but basically
the reason that Rick Ross is beefing
with Drake. He claims it's not over a girl, which, you know, that's a whole other debate.
The main reason is because Drake sent a cease and desist to French Montana for Splash Brothers,
which was basically leaked to the public. And because of that, as you can see right here,
he ended up, French Montana, mind you, ended up switching out
Drake for little Wayne and so I don't know how much weight or validity that has for a Rick Ross
disc track and for Rick Ross to be going at Drake simply for him to send a cease and desist
because obviously Drake is under Universal Music Group and if there's one thing that I've told y'all
throughout the history of notorious mass effect is that Universal Music Group is the big dog
in the music industry and they do not play around when it comes to copyright issues as far as
having the top 1% of the 1% when it comes to all musicians signed to him whether it's an M&M
Taylor Swift Drake they do not play around when it comes to certain copyright issues so I would
not be surprised if it wasn't even Drake if it was his team that sent a cease and desist
simply due to the fact that the Splash Brothers record
was basically not only removed because of the alleged leak also, well,
Mac and Cheese 5 is the album I'm referring to.
That's what Splash Brothers was supposed to have as far as Drake.
But the Astro World tragedy, I think, is the main reason for UMG stepping in and saying
that because of this tragedy caused by Travis Scott mind you 10 people died right hundreds were
injured so Drake and the people who managed Drake probably told him hey we can't have you on
anything in the future because we got to let this whole situation with the astro world festival
play out so with that being said that is why Splash brothers debuted
on mac and cheese five without drake and that's simply it so there's a whole new
alleged verse by drake off of splash brothers i mean it's the one that you've heard in the past
i think i have it on one of these don't y'all like this uh the the version of drake and and the thanos
mixture i was like that is that is actually insane but anyways let me pull up the track so
this is the verse that was taken off of splash bruce
this right Drake being the goat that he is has bars that still is relevant to this day even more
relevant mind you know so the man said it's a cold world but I ain't from the view not a politician
but I bet I pass a bill people try to copy the sound but they never had the feel I'm trying to find
the part oh I found it okay so yeah it's the start of the verse my fault all right so Drake just
comes out the gate and he says on
MMG I'll mess
with a rapper's wife once again
PG podcast so I'm going to take out some of the
cuss, well all the cuss words
she ain't even my type
but I'll make the sacrifice
have her splitting thighs
like she work at
Gladys nights
man where's the funk flex
drop when you need it? Hold up
I think I got it somewhere
now listen
that's cool motherfucking boys
nigger
nothing about that.
Yeah.
Yeah, talk to him.
Yeah, listen.
Uh-huh.
That's cool motherfucking bars, nigga.
Okay.
You know nothing about that.
Yeah.
Don't you love how I blurred out the cuss words, but I just had people cuss for me?
That's just honestly poetry at his finest.
But anyways, uh, Drake, once again, it's showcasing why majority of the industry, um, has a certain vitriol towards him simply due to the fact.
that he brags about him messing with rappers girls but a rapper girl has basically never
mess with him simply stating well simply put they are only in association with Drake just because
the with the rapper so at the end of day it's not a big deal um i would say that for somebody
to help you get a lot of chart topping tracks and this is not targeted towards french
French, that's why I played that at the beginning.
French is just a bystander and all of this war going on.
This verbal, verbal war, of course, because Rick Ross versus Drake is definitely a
lyrical spar at its highest.
It's a masterclass on how to put words together and attack somebody.
So we're going to get to his diss in a second, but I had to preface this whole segment
just basically stating that I don't think Drake and French were ever beef, and if they ever
did beef i'm not going to lie to you i would have to look at drake in a completely different way because
french montana seems like the most non problematic artists in music history i know a lot of people try to come out
and be like oh he scammed for his album that he put out and he faking streams and things of that nature but
90% of artists that are on labels with machines backing them have certain numbers that are inflated
it the biggest thing is that you have that core fan base which obviously i don't think anybody
would say french montana doesn't have some sort of core fan base like there's a reason why it's mac and
cheese five it's a fifth installment of mac and cheese it's because people tune in every time so
anyways that's basically it um drake just took his verse off because of the astro world tragedy
it's nothing more nothing less the way that rick ross is trying to point it out and make drake
seemed like he turned on French. I don't even think that's the case. So that was just my whole summary
of that situation. I know a lot of people are probably listening to the new release verse, which is
not even new, wanting to get some type of clear up about what actually happened. So that's basically
why I talked about this unreleased track with French Montana and Drake title Splash Brothers.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my
social medias what do you think about drake and the whole french montana aspect because of rick ross
bringing it back up in his disc track and also as far as the industry versus drake who
whose side do you think will come out on top drake or the hip hop field
