You know, at some point, I had to readdress the beef because Lord knows that my goat got demolished.
Now, I'm not talking just from a rapping standpoint, which reiterates the fact that Kendrick is the best rapper in the modern generation.
But when it comes to sales, as a Drake stand, I've always been able to hang my hat on.
my goat just outperforming the hip-hop competition by leaps and bounds.
But currently, Kendrick is surprisingly winning the charts as the album Damn,
the album Good Kid Mad City is inside the top 20 for the first time since May 20 22nd.
And for all the dogs by Drake has left the top 20 for the first time since it dropped.
mind you, has been on the charts for 31 consecutive weeks.
So I don't know if the OVO fandom has completely abandoned Drake because everybody knows
that his friends, well, industry friends, which is funny because he dropped the track
titled No Friends in the industry, which is coming true more and more by as time passes
because it seems like nobody wants to speak up on Drake's,
well, the Drake accusations made by Kendrick
when it comes to the pedophilia aspect.
Because even Yaddy came out and basically said,
oh, both of them was doing their thing.
It was a really good battle.
Not addressing at all the pedophilia allegations,
or at least just saying,
my man Drake is not a pedophile.
about right so interestingly enough drake has attached himself to the only person that would
step out in the limelight with his name attached to it and that is you guessed it sexy red as the
track you my everything has drake over it being featured and he's rapping over the metro
well not even the metro boomer i don't like how people say the metro boom and beat
when it comes to BBO Drizzy because if you don't know, the song originated from a Rick Ross
disc track and is basically made by some person on the internet using AI.
And he created the BBO Drizzi beat over AI.
And Metro basically just took it and I don't know if you sped it up, slowed it down,
but basically, you know, everybody refers to it as the Metro Boomin B now,
which is crazy for the originator of it.
the metro of the bbo drizzy beat which is why drake's able to use it because of licensing i want to
be surprised if drake actually contacted the originator of the beat and actually just uh you know
licensed it himself to wrap over it so anyways it's very interesting that he starts off this
track with give me the exfutive i'm bullying exfitive now of course it's pg podcast i'm not going to say the
curse words but for the biggest track in the world which is by Kendrick Lamar titled not like us
to be centered around pedophilia and allegations of sex trafficking and things of that nature
every PR person in the world would tell you that your first verse off of a feature with a person
that is highlighting you in the culture
should not be give me the expeditive
on bullying expeditive.
Because if you actually know
what he's referring to,
it reiterates everything that Kinchke was saying
are not like us.
But putting that to the side,
let's just talk about him being featured
on a sexy red album.
Also reiterates
Kendrick Lamar's point about
you being with six years red making you seem like you're one of them as far as being a bad
exfitive he used the word he used the b word i'm just going to say he was referring to female dog
so i don't like the verse the subject matter what he's going at is very interesting because it
just reiterates and basically emphasizes why kensrick lamar won the beef
the thing I thought he did best with this verse is using the BBO Drizzi sample because
Metro Boomin is a target that you can easily take out shut up and make some drums is probably
one of the biggest standouts as far as sayings in the whole beef because Drake's saying that
made everybody yell shut up and make some drums towards Metro which made him actually make some drums
which he didn't even make no drums because he took the beat from the originator.
So anyways, this whole performance he had at St. Louis is very interesting as he played the BBL Drizzy Beat.
And I'm not saying this strategy by Drake or whatever to be on the St. Louis artist and wrapping over the BBL Drizzy beat.
But it's very interesting how Metro can be in St. Louis playing in St. Louis playing a
the BBO Drizzy Beat and then Drake hops on a St. Louis artist album rapping over the BBO
Drizzy Beat. It's just very interesting how that works. And you know, he definitely knows how to play
his cards, but obviously against Kendrick is not going to work, which is why I keep coming back
to the fact that the start of this verse just reiterates why Kendrick won because of the stuff
he's saying can now be targeted and connected to just seemingly false outlets.
allegations made by Kendry. But Drake is the one reinforcing that sentiment. So at the end of day,
you know, as a Drake stand, we just have to take our lumps and use it as a learning opportunity.
And one of the biggest learning opportunities is just that Kendrick is the certified boogeyman,
just like he said on Out Like Us. He is the one that,
up to skull with him to quote lamar himself unfortunate but in reality i think drake would be fine
if people want to co-sign an artist who puts out a body of work then goes disappear and then
just disappears for 10 years then let them stay on that side because drake who is going to
consistently give you music throughout the years and even going into the future i think needs to be
respected a little bit more, but obviously not as the whole world has seemingly turned on him.
And as you can see, well, not see bad as you, as I reiterate what I said at the beginning,
Kendrick ultimately won the charts with his album, Damn and Good Kid Man City coming back into the top 20
as far as sales for the first time since May 22nd and Drake's for all the dogs
leaving the top 20 for the first time since it was dropped, mind you, on the charts for 31 consecutive weeks.
And then to reiterate that point even more, family matters has slid to number 19 being only two weeks, I think going on this third weeks on the charts, peaked at number seven.
So now is at 19.
Push-ups peaked at number 17 is now at 48 being four weeks.
going on five on the charts.
And then, of course, act bad, not act bad,
act two, date at eight with four bats featuring Drake,
peaked at number seven,
but now it's all the way at 53, 19 weeks, into the charts.
Once again, remember what I said about four bats?
If you look at four bats analytic dreams,
you could hear my sentiments on what I thought about
the whole Drake hopping on his most popular
the track. Four-Bats career is over. So I don't know why his team green lit a Drake feature
when they knew his history of taking certain energy for himself and leaving the artist dry.
It's sort of like LeBron when he goes to a team wins a championship and then that team
completely falls off after he leaves. But in this sense, this track,
is four bats championship and he would never ever be the same i mean he literally dropped the
album and that's when the kensic beef went into his prime as far as the back-to-back releases
against one another so his project was completely overshadowed which goes back to my point
on how his career had immense destruction done to it based on him attaching himself to drake
what you think would be the opposite since Drake is the biggest in the world.
But I'm not going to say he's a culture vulture,
but somebody shining such a high,
somebody shining such a bright light on your biggest track
is not going to do you any favors when it comes to the future
because is he going to collaborate with you again?
I would assume no.
So do have that what you will.
But for best career, like I said, back when this originally
happened and Drake hopped on the track. It's over. So anyways, um, this verse is pretty mediocre, I might
add. Drake rapping over the BBL Drizzy beat, I think is the best thing he could have did as far as
retorting Metro. But as far as Kendrick Lamar, there's a lot of things in this verse that just,
you know, listening to what Kendrick said and then Drake starts off his verse saying, give me the
expert if I'm bullying like I'm just I'm like the tone deafness of of this verse is insane
and it's unfortunate so anyways we're gonna get to a sexy res album of course but I just wanted
to use this segment to address the Kendrick Lamar versus Drake beef because currently
if we're talking about sales you would think Drake would be
superior to Kendrick at least right as far as the masses you would think Drake would be superior to
kendrick when it comes to overall sales well ladies and gentlemen not like us is still number two on the
charts peak that number one and it's still going strong as the only one that's seemingly
going to be ahead of it and the charts and this is the world is considered is uh i had some help
with post malone featuring morgan walling so that's the only
track that's been able to have better numbers than not like us and that's by slim margin as
i had some help is basically selling around 400 no no has 476 points which if you don't know
know takes in totality all the streams airplay the units bought things of that nature and it not
like us has 450 points respectively when it comes to a competing
with i had some help so i had some help at four hundred seventy six not like us has four
hundred fifty four when we're talking about points and then the next closest to that is three
hundred ninety nine with tommy richmond million dollar baby so you can already tell that kensi
glomar is in a different realm when it taught when in regards to putting up numbers and it's
just uh very surprising and definitely i'm not going to say it's an upset in the sense of rapping
but in the sense of sales and appeasing or being appeasing to the masses,
who would have thought a pedophile anthem would have this much traction, right?
Then we have the track Euphoria.
That's number 11 on the charts.
And that's currently projected to be sliding to number 16.
So it's still a strong hold, in my opinion, as Billy Elish dropped.
So obviously, he's going to slide a little bit.
And then you have Meet the Grams, which is still at number 23.
And this is all higher than Drake's tracks, mind you.
And then you have the last one, which is, let's see.
You have not like us.
Oh, my fault.
I missed the second one.
Like that, which is still number seven, which to me is still the best hip hop track
that's been put out this year.
I mean, at totality, that's just a classic from the beat.
chorus melody verse everything about that track is just superior and one of the best tracks i've heard
in probably the last 10 years honestly it's up there is like my top three like best hip hop
track of all time so well not all time but you know in the past like five to 10 years so with that
being said um yeah drake lost man drake lost he not only did he lose the rap in battle which was
very surprising.
But no,
not the rapping battle.
Not only did he lose,
you know,
lyrically sparring,
which is not as surprising
because I've always said
that Kendrick is the best
rapper I've heard
in my lifetime.
But surprisingly,
he lost the analytical battle
and the masses
battle and the public perception
as Kendrick is just
outperforming him
on every metric
when it comes to sales.
And that's just something
I didn't think it happened
to Drake.
So, you know, I guess you live to see another day.
Because as a Drake stand, looking at these numbers, obviously he got outwrapped, but looking at these numbers, it's just like, man, who would have thunk that Drake and his immense success breaking all type of records outselling Michael Jackson when it comes to number ones?
I mean, would get outsold by a rapper making a pedophile anthem directed towards him.
So with that being said, man, click my link to your bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Drake's verse off of the Sexy Red album?
And the specific track I'm talking about is You My Everything with Sexy Red and Drake.
What do you think about the verse?
And at the end of the day, who do you think won the battle between Kensik Lamar and Drake?
