In this segment of Notorious Mass Effect, analytic dreamz breaks down Drake’s historic milestone as he ties Adele with 40 career weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. ICEMAN held the top spot for a third consecutive week on the June 13, 2026 chart, earning 171,000 equivalent album units and pushing Drake into a tie for 9th place all-time. This achievement solidifies Drake as the leader in No. 1 weeks among hip-hop artists and Canadian artists, while highlighting his record of 15 career No. 1 albums — tying Taylor Swift for the most among solo artists.analytic dreamz examines Drake’s nearly 16-year dominance, spanning from Thank Me Later to ICEMAN, including major runs with Views (13 weeks), Certified Lover Boy (5 weeks), and Scorpion (5 weeks). The segment also contrasts Drake’s streaming-powered, high-volume approach with Adele’s blockbuster model, where she reached 40 weeks through just three albums led by the historic 24-week reign of 21.From Drake’s unprecedented top-three sweep with ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR, and HABIBTI to the full all-time Billboard 200 leaders list, this detailed breakdown covers every key statistic and what the tie means for both legends moving forward.Tune in to Notorious Mass Effect with analytic dreamz for the complete analysis of this Billboard 200 milestone. Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content.
Now, of course, ladies and gentlemen, is it okay?
You know, there's the only way to start this off because there's only one way to start this off,
because you already know that the goat has not only dropped the album in May 15th,
but last time I checked.
the last time i check you know what i'm saying
all right basically
drake has been number one for three straight weeks
and of course not only did other artists have three whole fridays to catch up to this
canadian but nobody wanted to compete with him as if you don't know drake has reached
40 career weeks and number one on billboard 200 tying the one and only
Hold on now
Yo, I'm trying to
Come on, man
Show him what.
Show him what.
Bro, this man tripping, bro.
That's just how he do the sauce and the spill,
you know what I'm saying?
Nah, I mean, he said sauce and the spill.
You know what I mean?
Put it on the number one record, you know,
not too many people heard it,
maybe the entire world for like multiple weeks.
But, you know, that's besides a point, right?
As if you don't know, Janice STFU
is currently still the number one track in the world,
ladies and gentlemen.
Mm-hmm.
And you know, over here at notorious mass effect, we get into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses.
And I kept telling y'all this time and time again.
If there's one person that Canadian is afraid of.
Is it okay? I got my dope on me.
Is this girl right here? Exhibit A. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
Because, ladies and gentlemen, I thought this was going to happen sooner, but I guess not.
shout out to Taylor Swift for actually giving my boy some leeway because as soon as she dropped
I just knew that she was going to try to take away this man's number one slot and then hold
up now I know that ain't who I think it is usually I don't show the whole chart because of course
most artists do not percolate on the charts all throughout like a drake but there is another
artist that does this which is you know to be you know I keep it eight more than 92 so when it
comes to Taylor Swift yes ladies and gentlemen she just she didn't did it again man
Is it okay? I got my dope on me? Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
Every time Drake drops, every time any top five major act drops, Taylor Swift looks at the charts and she says to herself.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
I feel like being the villain today. And she just always says, oh, no, she just always dropped something around these pop acts release, which is just very peculiar.
You know what I'm saying? It's very interesting. I wish I had that Cardi B drop as, you know, how convenient is that?
Nobody can compete with that Canadian.
Taylor Swift had all the time in the world to drop this particular track.
And I believe it's for Toy Story 5.
Hold up, ladies and gentlemen.
When it's Toy Story 5 come out?
Come on now.
She's tripping.
Hold on.
Toy Story 5.
Release date.
Let's see right quick.
All right.
So after doing a little Mickey research, safe to say,
I ain't look at.
Toy Story 5 does come out soon.
So I'm a little, you know, that's all me, man.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
And I can't get it right all the time.
You know what I'm saying?
See, that's the problem.
So safe to say she did give that Canadian a little leeway because of June 19th, I mean,
for this single to come out, what, a week or two before is it a week?
Yeah, it's basically like two weeks kind of before that actual movie comes out.
I mean, that's not too bad.
So anyways, Taylor Swift dropped, took over the whole charts.
So she currently has, well, she slated as far as future chart,
analytics because you know over here that's what we do you know i take my boy you're not taking my job
seriously you know what i'm saying no you ain't got to do all that they ain't got to do all that druskey
come on now come on man i'm trying to get back to what i was doing so anyways um notoriously
affected the masses once again is taylor swift slated to have the number one most played track in
the world of course overtaking janus stf you and then of course taking over choosing texas by ella
langley now i just wonder who in the world would make a whole episode talking about
Ella Langley and how much she was going to notoriously affect the masses before she did.
Hmm.
Bees me.
Anyways, so with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, Drake had a long run at number one.
But of course, just like any popular act release date, their biggest nightmare is Taylor Swift.
And once again, she's came to prove that true.
And she's going to jump to number one.
And when it comes to albums, now this is the last thing, because I do not think Jan is
as if you can get back up to number one.
I mean, the music video is already out.
I don't actually know what else he could do to increase the streams
because his streams through the roof right now.
Like, currently, he has 29 tracks in the top 100.
We're not even counting in the top 200 right now.
So 29 tracks in the top 200, I believe in total,
the Iceman drop in totality.
I believe it's 42 tracks.
I think one of them is an interlude.
So to have 29 in the top 100, you know, we only know,
God only knows how many he has in the top 200.
So when it comes to the albums, I think that is the last number one slot he could try to hold on to when it comes to this Adele record.
Because that's really the whole reason for this whole segment because once again, he's surpassing or tying another legend in the music industry.
Is it okay? I got my dope on me.
You know, we've already covered when it came to, let me see.
So when it came to Drake, Pastor Michael Jackson for the most number one songs by solo male artist with Janice, STFU,
we already covered that.
When Drake joined Taylor Swift for the most number one albums for a soloist in Billboard 200
History, we cover that.
Drake officially breaks Jay-Z's record for the most number one albums by a rapper in
Billboard 200 history.
We cover that.
All right, my fault.
Am I glazing?
All right, my fault.
Let's go back.
Let's get back into it.
Pulse.
So when it comes to Drake reaching 40 career weeks at number one,
tying Adele for the ninth place all time among artists with the most weeks atop the charts.
Now, when we really talk about.
goats in the industry.
You know, people always understand when it comes to sports, right?
Because it's objective.
You can see the points.
You see the rebounds.
You can, oh, LeBron's probably one of the best of all time.
When it comes to that Canadian, for some reason, people just call him pedophiles,
disrespect them left and right.
And then he has a whole 42 project classic, right?
Trilogy.
I even get into the other two albums.
Habibti, still the eighth most play album in the world.
Made of Honor is still the 18th most play album in the world.
And those are experimental albums.
when we talk about Drake, the reason why people who actually cover the music industry hold him in such high regard is because the difficulty scale of releasing two experimental albums along with your main album and all of them performing immaculently on the charts whilst suing your label. Your label is not really in the greatest of terms with you.
that is why this is a magnificent accomplishment and it's why a lot of people are jumping you know i've
already said i think iceman's a classic but it's why a lot of people are coming out now to say oh
ice man may actually be a classic as if you actually look at it you know we cover the charts right
we cover gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses so when it comes to my rhetoric i always
want to reiterate that just because you sell the most does not mean you make the highest quality
of product and just because you don't sell the most it does not mean you're making garbage the two
do not correlate. When it comes to Drake,
I'm a little biased because he's my favorite artist.
But I believe the two do correlate for him.
I think he makes immaculate music
and his consumption is just
through the roof. I mean, the only
rapper, we could really compare him to numbers
wise musically. It's probably M&M.
That is why we have to talk about
Taylor Swift's of the world, the bad bunnies
of the worlds. There's other artists
in the landscape of just music
that could maybe compete with Drake.
But when it comes to streaming,
Drake is number one by landslide. But
Of course, when it comes to the charts, it takes into account physical units, which
immediately, Drake's not the greatest at selling physical units.
When it comes to, what was the other one?
When it comes to airplay, he's suing his label trying to blow up the whole music industry
for bots, right?
So, and payola, right?
He tried to blow up the whole music industry.
Like, people forget that.
When it comes to that, radio is hesitant to play him because he tried to blow up the music
industry with that lawsuit.
When he talks about red button, that is a red button that's been pushed before as far as the payola route.
But usually you just pay a settlement and then you go about your business.
It's similar to how Ticketmaster and Live Nation almost got away with their monopoly by just paying settlements to certain lawsuits.
But then certain unions, no, certain people stuck together with the lawsuit and went the...

Hold 9 yards.
Pause.
to actually declare Live Nation and Ticketmaster as a monopoly.
I may be jumping all over the place for people who are not in the know of the music industry,
but basically it's the same thing.
When a huge conglomerate gets pointed out for a specific monopolistic tactic,
usually there's a settlement.
It comes out of nowhere, right?
Like, hey, man, you finally figured out our game.
How about we give you these millions and you go away?
And you'd be surprised how many people take those millions.
So the reason why I say that is because Drake's,
one UMG was basically him trying to blow up the whole game. And as far as airplay,
I will say, hold on let me bring up that chart again, because it has airplay on here.
So once again, analytic dreams video and Spotify to see the video along with audio. So when it
comes to airplay, Janus STFU has 15.3 million. Now, you compare it to every other track
and it's very much below it. I mean, Taylor Swift has 49.9 million airplay units for,
technically it's a Toy Story 5 single, so I'm not too mad at it.
Disney. Like, come on now. They're going to pay for the radio.
Allegedly. Oh, you know what I'm saying? I ain't trying to sue.
48.3, airplay for Ella Langley, Choosing, Texas. It's already phenomenal.
It's already been a hit. So radio is really archaic and they pick up on what the audience likes and then they play it on their radio because they want to keep their retention.
So once Chewes in Texas was obviously a smash hit, they started to play it on the radio.
That's why you see 48.3 million. But then you come to realize.
The audience has chosen
Janice St.FU as
their favorite track as far as the masses
favorite track and only
15.3 million airplay units.
Hmm.
But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
49.9 million for Taylor Swift.
48.3 million for Ella Langley
and only 15.3 million airplay
for Drake.
Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
So anyways, I rest my case.
y'all get the point so when it comes to that
there was a lot of factors that could have went wrong
and that is why a lot of Drake fans
are celebrating because almost everything went right
I think the only thing that didn't go right is of course
the airplay because he's still in his label
and um
it was the other thing oh yeah in the physical units
I don't know why but Drake just does
horrendously in the physical units if he actually
I don't know if his him or his fan base
because he puts out vitals on digital
and you could technically purchase his album on iTunes
I don't know how he fixes that honestly
Like his fans is like, bro, we're just going to stream it.
And he's like, but you could buy it.
Nah, we're just going to stream it, brother.
So I don't know what he could do with that.
But anyways, the reason why Iceman is such a big deal is because when you look at it in the totality of Drake's discography,
because, you know, people are going to say recency bias, things that nature.
When it comes to views in 2016, yeah, in 2016, when views came out, that spent a whopping 13 weeks at number one.
I kid you not.
Drake's most successful album
as far as staying at number one.
Then you have certified Loveboy in 2021
that stayed at number one for five weeks.
Then you have Scorpion in 2018
that stayed at number one for five weeks.
You have more life that stayed at number one
for three weeks.
You have Iceman that's at three and counting.
So basically it's already shaping up
to be one of his most
popular albums as far as public consumption.
That is why I talk about
how a lot of Drake family
are celebrating because this is almost a best case scenario as far as your favorite artist suing
their label and actually having success on the charts.
Everybody's coming out and saying that they enjoy the project.
I'm not going to say if you don't enjoy it, you're hating because music is technically subjective.
So you could, you know, not like if you, you know, you could make a edited version like a DJ head did.
I'm my fault.
Anyways.
So then, yeah, for all the dogs that stayed at number one for two weeks.
and then all the other albums from Drake only stayed at number one for one week.
I say only like this is not a big accomplishment, but it's only one week.
So in totality, Iceman is shaping up to be not only a classic drop,
but a classic longevity type of project for Drake and the totality of things.
So that's why we get into numbers a lot because if you look at the history of the music landscape enough,
you'd be able to start to spot patterns and then you could just predict it.
Like I just wonder, you know, I'm not going to pay.
myself on the back too much you know what I'm saying you feel me because we big
stepers over here all right my fault you know you may be you may or may not be able to get this
shirt in my link tree my bio anyways um back to what I'm saying so before the album came out I
basically completely predicted the first week sales I said it was sell between um what was it
540 to 5 no it was a 540 I predicted it would sell like four I have a whole clip on my
predictions like 450 to 480 I think that's what I predicted and what the iceman sell like
4 50 something first week
So I'm usually on the nose when it comes to first week sales.
And it's just because I cover the music and gaming industry.
Like, you know, it's my life.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I mean?
Shout to all my supporters to make this possible.
So, um, let me see.
Drake, Iceman, First Week sales.
And then let me see.
Yeah, so I'm trying to see when it comes out and drinks it passes.
Oh, I found it.
I found my clip.
All right, cool.
Let me see.
So it was just May 12th.
So y'all don't think I'm lying, you know what I'm saying.
May 12, 2026, this is what old dreams had to say.
I believe Drake's ceiling is 500,000.
I think his bare minimum is 300.
That's like if it horrendously flops.
I think he would end up doing somewhere between 4 to 480 as far as his first week sales.
If I had to give you a specific, it cut it off, but I'd say 450 to 480.
I'd say to 450 to 480.
If I had to give it a specific estimate, I would say 400 to 480 is the sweet spot.
I'd say 400.
than that is a mammoth of a success, especially suing your label.
Well, basically, I was on the nose.
So when it comes to that, with these major label acts,
usually you can tell what they're going to sell before they drop.
And when it came to Drake suing his label, we did not know necessarily how big or how low.
The Drake was, the album was going to sell because we didn't know, well, one, we didn't know he was coming with three albums.
That could have lowered the first week sales.
Two, he's suing his label.
three, the whole pedophile stuff.
We didn't know if he was going to harp on that.
And he technically talked about a good amount of times on Iceman,
but the experimental albums didn't have too much of that,
so a lot of people let it go.
But the reason why I'm bringing that up
is because I wanted to put it in a bow
as far as my coverage of Drake's Iceman.
Now, of course I'm going to keep covering Drake
because, you know, he is the goat. Like, come on now.
Is it okay? I got my dope on me.
But I did want to talk about how he broke another record
as far as, you know, the most, or having, what is it, 40 career weeks at number one on Billboard 200,
tying Adele for the ninth place all time among artists with the most weeks at top the charts.
Because it just showcased where Drake is as far as in the longevity of music.
I think he still definitely has a lot of music left in them.
Because when you look at the top of the charts, I mean, Taylor Swift has been at number one for 98 weeks.
It's going to be hard to catch her.
I kid you not.
The Beatles is number one, objectively speaking, being at number one for 132 weeks.
Elvis Presley.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, 10.
They should have, they just, they should have scratched out of his Presley's name and just
put a collective of black artists.
You know what I'm saying?
All right, my fault.
You know what I'm saying?
They ain't ready to have that discussion.
But anyways, I'm not even going to get in Elvis.
Garth Brooks is at 52 weeks.
Michael Jackson is at 51 weeks.
Whitney Houston, shout to her.
She's at 46 weeks.
the Kingston trio
is at 46 weeks. Morgan Wallen's
at 42, Drake's at 40, Adel's
at 40, and Elton John's at 39.
So technically, Drake can make even more
history if he stays at the top of the weeks
for two more weeks, Tom Morgan Wallen, etc., etc.,
you get the point. So
when it comes to Iceman
as of right now,
it's the most played project in the world.
He did have the most played single in the world
as far as Janus STFU.
Come on, man.
Come on, man.
Bro, man, it's just the number one song in the world, bro.
Show him, man.
Bro, this man mad for no reason, bro, get that, you know what I'm saying?
Anyways, so when it comes to Drake having Janice's STFU as the number one most play track in the world
that will be overtaken, overtook by Taylor Swift's Toy Story 5 single, you know.
There's a lot of conglomerance that needed to dethrone the boy.
But, you know, that's just me.
That's just me.
Anyways, Disney and Taylor Swift is definitely...
You know, that's a collab that wouldn't be mad at overtaking Drake.
So what else?
I think it was basically it.
Drake is rumored, random fun fact, because GTA6 is about the notoriously effect of masses.
Y'all think Drake's Iceman releases crazy.
GTA6 is going to be this times 10.
I kid you not.
So Drake, there's rumors that he has his own radio station on GTA6.
Now, of course, hasn't been confirmed.
But it's been enough rumors to be like, okay, whether there's smoke or fire.
Like if it was just one time I would just let it pass by
But it's been popping up a lot of times
Now another rumor that I wanted to talk about
Take this with a grain of salt
Is that
Drake is reportedly
Um
Gonna be
Let me see
Oh never mind
No okay so that's been debunk
Okay you know we try not to do fake news over here
Um and that's basically it
As far as the freeze the world tour
He has not announced that yet
And you're probably like bro
How do you know he's about to announce to freeze the world?
World Tour. Well, guess what? My sources are I made it up.
What do you're going to say about that? Is it okay? I got my dope on me.
All right, anyways. But all jokes aside, freeze the world tour is probably going to be
announced soon. And that's probably why he's not doing anything with FIFA because, you know,
I feel like that would be the perfect stage to pop out on, especially with side seven.
I mean, a white tank top did at the Super Bowl. Um, what else? That's basically it, man.
Shout to Drake Man. Shout to his fans. Once again, proving we big steppers over here.
You know what I'm saying? Can't none stop.
big steppers when they big stepping you feel me anyways um let me see this that's basically it man
shout shout to everybody if y'all wanted to know actually let's get into the top five drake uh tracks
from from the iceman release you know what i'm saying no i got to tell them because obviously they want
though you know y'all been supporting like crazy with these drake coverages so guess what we're gonna go
all in um another post you guys see that's the problem so as far as future chart analytics
so this is slated for if i can find this again see
Okay, here we go.
This is slated for June 20th, 2026.
So as far as future chart predictions, Jan is STFU is slated to slide to number three.
I wish I could just type in direct, but it doesn't work like that on a picture.
Shabang set to slide to number 11.
Let me see.
Whisper my name set to slide to number 24.
And we're talking about the biggest tracks in the world.
So when I say the number, that's where it's supposed to be.
in the biggest track in the world as far as the most played track national treasures is set to be
the 30th most played track in the world uh and then there was another one oh yeah here okay here we go
once again analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because i currently
have the whole charts up because we're talking about the goat um too hard for the radio which is my
personal favorite track uh that is the 31st most played well slated to be the 31st most played
track in the world. Let me see. And then we have, yeah, and then that's it. Oh, and then we have
dust. So dust, I'm tripping. I missed all these. Uh, okay, so plot twist set to be the 47th most
play track in the world. A lot of these are from Iceman, interesting. I just knew some of the
experimental singles is going to take off. I guess not. Bees on the table set to slide to the 50th
most play track in the world. Um, make them pay, which is my favorite lyrical track from Drake.
probably my top five favorite
lyrical track from Drake and Drake has a lot
of them so I think it's saying something
Make the pay set to be the 55th most play track
In the world
Dust by Drake is set to be the 57th
And what did I miss
Is set to be the 60th
Once again these are future chart predictions
Slated for June 20th
So usually it's on the nose
Or if it's off, it's usually only off
by like one or two
But as of right now
That man still has 29 tracks
In the top of 100
Now of course I don't do drama over here
I would love to get
to the Sauce Walker
versus Drake debacle
but you know
I don't talk about
you know
come on now
we don't stop that
hey stop that
you know we don't do drama
over here
you know what I'm saying
making the live enough
and not doing drama
you know
just so you know
wholesome coverage over here
as the NBA
would call it
ethical hoops over here
so anyway
so that being said
