This is an early version of “Trance”, the collaboration between Travis Scott and Young Thug that appears on Metro Boomin’s HEROES & VILLAINS. The track seems to have been cut from Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind at the last minute; the file was dated June 9, 2022, and it was apparently being mastered along with the rest of the album; the subject matter also lines up. You know, sometimes you just got to take matters into your own hands, you know what I'm saying? And so whenever getting into Drake and his removed feature from this track, I had to do the hip-hop world justice. Because you're not going to take the goat's verse off of any track on my watch. It's not going to happen. because even this verse is just classic in itself. Like, imagine having the goat bless your track with vocals and then you're removing them. Like, Metro obviously didn't want some more. You know what's crazy?

You know what's funny? That's like my favorite saying throughout the whole Christmas holidays. Because if you listen to the whole project for Metro booming, all hits, no skips, no misses, no nothing. So I'm like, why would you take Drake off your track? Like, I mean, I wouldn't think Drake would overshadowed Metro booming, would you? Like, I don't, I mean, you have the weekend on there. I mean, who else do you have?

I feel like I'm being disrespectful right now. Hold up. Who else do you have on there? I'm trying to see somebody. Because, I mean, of course he had Future 21 Savage, the usual. Yeah, Travis Scott gave like a whole EP on there. Like, Travis Scott had like three tracks on there. Like, Travis got what he's doing.

A's at Rocky for some reason was on here. Oh, Takeoff had a fire verse. Like, he literally went through like the alphabet. That stuff was crazy. um gonna had an okay track that's why he had

bonus at the end he was like man I don't want to put this on here but hey I guess we I guess we jacking uh yeah I'm a law

yeah so really the weekend Travis Scott probably the biggest names on here I mean future, of course, you know, you don't want to disrespect, you know, but I'm just thinking about like monthly listeners and overall fan base. Yeah, probably future the weekend and Travis Scott. That's what I would say. But anyways, having Drake on here, I don't think it would have overshadowed it overshadowed the project that much. Like obviously his verse on here is insane. You know, it's pretty crazy.

But I think they could have dealt with Drake having his presence on the project without having to take it off. but, you know, teaches on, I guess Metro thought that Drake's verse wasn't it? I don't know. Like, what's the reason to take it off? Like, you're going to put on the deluxe? Like, what are we doing? Like, bro, who takes a, I'm honestly, like, when I heard that, because I heard this a while back. But when I wanted to put this out, I was like, hold up.

I got to review this because it's just like, this is just criminal at this point. Like, bro, what are we doing? Like, that's like having LeBron drop like 30, 10 to 10 and being like, man, you know what? let's only play him 10 minutes this game like why are you holding back greatness like i just don't understand like i don't know man anyway like i really i couldn't think of like maybe maybe you can't clear it maybe drake down with his name associated to young thug i don't man i really don't i can't think of any scenario where you will listen to this verse and be like okay let's take that off anyways uh click my click my click my lecture
