Aubrey Graham, aka Drake, aka the goat, has become the most stream rapper on Spotify,
surpassing M&M.
How many streams did it take to surpass M&M you might ask?
Well, just 36.3 billion with a B.
now why is that even news as far as Drake becoming the most stream rapper on Spotify
like I thought we all listened to Drake and all acknowledge that Drake is the goat
when it comes to putting up numbers as a rapper but recently of course with the specific
person also known as
size 7
a.k.a.
White tank top
aka
everybody
at my show
still can't get a feature
for me
and I was supposed to put the West Coast home.
But of course the stage name
is Kendrick Lamarine.
So with that being said, you know,
I ain't going to focus too much on that
because, you know,
while I focus on a negative
when we can focus on a positive.
So this is what we're going to do.
do we're going to talk about drake being the goat and i'm going to give you objective facts
instead of the subject of facts that i forget who said it was a dj head it was somebody
if i was if if if drake was the emce i think he is he's in his uh he will come back with
something like this was insane like the amount of hate let me see drake but didn't
Oh, Absold.
Okay.
Absold.
Let me tell you something.
Nobody cares.
That's it.
That's all I got to say.
Nobody cares.
People acting like Drake is in this redemption art, which I poke fun at.
Of course, if y'all watch my gaming live streams, I poke fun at that with my title.
But it's just so funny because the greatest, most stream, objectively,
most successful rapper
is in his redemption art.
Think about that.
While others are praying for Drake's fall off,
they haven't even came up yet.
So with Drake having more monthly listeners,
the M&M,
that also means
he has more
monthly listeners than White Tank Top
and everybody who was at that West Coast show.
Because it was never about
taking out
the quality
of what Kendrick offered.
But when Kendrick's size starts to take out the statistical achievements of what Drake is offering,
then that's where we have a problem.
Kendrick said he ain't have no classics.
Kendrick was talking about the culture, which culturally people put aside the fact that
he's backed by some of the most respected people in the hip-hop industry.
find you one person that would publicly say disparaging statements about Birdman and Jay Prince
and then I give you like $100,000 you probably won't find that right so they're backing Drake from
and they backed them since the beginning so due to Drake's ability to chart top people have a level of
animosity that they've started to let seep through their mouth and I
think it's beyond upsetting that OG hip hop rappers would come out and just feed into the narrative
because the narrative is that Kendrick took out Drake. To be honest, Kendrick has
projected, you know, because I have like extended statistics as far as the sites that I
subscribe to and things of that nature. Like you have to pay for, you know, take my job seriously. But anyway,
as far as extended predictions for July 20th which most likely changed because of Eminem dropping his album
but basically I say that to say this not like us is on the rise and it's on the rise by 12%
I mean as far as streams is around 52.6 million units sold 315,000 and to make sure I read that
right airplay 39 million this is all for one song one particular track not like us and then
you have other tracks from kendrick which is okay i like to stick with analytics because that's
something you can't argue because somebody is out there um adding to these analytics these are not
just made up well i mean most of them some of them is made up everybody uses certain things but you know
For the most part, your core audience has to support these numbers by actually going out to your concerts, which you obviously see Kendrick can throw certain concerts.
So like that, it's the 14th most played track in the world.
Not like us.
It's currently, like as of today, it's the third most played track in the world.
And it's still on the uprise probably because of his show and then probably because of his music video, right?
then we go over to albums and Kendrick Lamar's a Kendrick has two albums in the top 50
so he has damn which is the 37th most play album in the world good kid mad city is the
42nd most play album in the world and still and still Drake has became the first artist to
surpass 100 billion streams on spotify so as far as kendrick taking out drake
his legacy is for everlasting and Drake is still the most stream rapper on Spotify surpassing
M&L we're not even talking about white tank top no more right we're not even
talking about him no more we're talking about a different white and a great
white at that so whenever you're talking about surpassing certain legends iconic
legends like M&M.
I think it should just be applauded
instead of sending
disparaging remarks,
dismissive remarks,
trying to act like this man is not
the greatest we've ever seen.
So,
you know, it's just
funny because numbers don't
lie. What I like to compare
to, not on a character level,
but as far as
public perception wise,
not now, of course, but back in
2020. I like to compare what Drake is going through now to Trump in 2020. People when the elections
was happening, far and wide was talking about, was it 2020? No, no, no, it was before that when he was
going against Hillary. People far and wide, so was that, 2016, can I do Matt? It was he 29th and 22.
Yeah, 16. All right. When he was going against Hillary in the elections, people far and wide was saying
I would not and I would never vote for Donald Trump.
That man is crazy.
Donald Trump, you know what?
We don't even support that.
Like the whole world, it seemed like nobody messed with Trump.
It seemed like it was just a landslide.
And even at the end, they was like, I don't know how Trump won.
Like, man, he must have made a comeback.
Like, no, y'all was supporting him undercover.
And that's how it is in current day.
There's a lot of undercover Drake fans that don't want to come out
because it's popular to hate on Drake and call him a pedophile for no reason.
You know?
So with that being said, a lot of people are still streaming Drake, way more than a stream of Kendrick.
But in public, they'll tell you that Drake is this, Drake is that, and Kendry took out Drake.
So that is very interesting because as far as taking somebody out, as far as talking like he is in his redemption art,
it's very disingenuous to say the very least because we're talking about one of the greatest
to ever even make music statistically speaking one of the greatest at impacting people with
this music like ever so anyways if you was wanted to know who the top five most streamed rappers
was because of course white tank top is not in it um drake is number one of course emm
is number two juice world number three Travis Scott number four Kanye West number five and
oh that's it so that's tough up you know I can't count so juice world passed away in 2019 so
he was the most surprising to see on this list like as far as it still having a successful
monthly streams on Spotify and having just such a solid strong presence as a as a young man that
away way too soon. Of course, due to
drug overdose, which is why
you shouldn't do drugs, kids. You know what I mean?
It's not a PSA, but it also
kind of is.
What else? As far
as the tracks
that helped Drake the most
get to his statistical stature
and become
the most
streamed rapper
as far as 64.1
million month of listeners.
And you want to know
the other numbers as far as like what oh that's what i'm saying as far as like helping him get to that
a hundred billion streams the top contributors as far as drake's tracks is of course one dance
3.1 billion god's plan 2.5 billion passion fruit 1.6 billion work 1.4 billion and my feelings
1.3 billion
Nice for what
1.2.
Wait, hold up.
There's three songs
off here from Scorpion.
People still say that
album is not one of his
best albums ever.
People don't even acknowledge
Scorpion as good.
Like, they don't even
acknowledge it as good.
Going back to,
this goes back to my
Donald Trump point.
Who's playing
nice for what
in my feelings?
God's playing over and over
again if Scorpion is not good.
Like you're telling me
just the rest of the tracks
which is just,
atrocious because usually to get a billion streams like that song has to be like bonafide like
just out of here like machine plus everybody in the world is streaming it like to get to a billion
it is it is a very very difficult 1% of the 1% tight feet is that's why when they say you hit
one if you get one of those you set for life so as far as people acting like scorpion
is not a good album.
That's beyond me, because that's one of my favorite Drake albums.
Like, if I was to do a ranking, I would probably have, I don't know, I'll probably have
Scorpion in my top three.
I'm not going to lie.
So, anyways, why was I saying that?
Oh, yeah, so those are his top contributors as far as his overall total of 100 billion streams.
And if you go to his profile, of course, he has 74.4 million monthly listeners,
which makes him the 12th most played artist in the world up there with the likes of
Billy Elish Taylor Swift Morgan Wallin you know you stop me when I say a daughter who
love his year yeah so basically a white tank top is not catching up anytime soon and I think
with him it's apparent that he won the lyrical battle but when it comes to overall
carrying the the genre of hip-hop let's not act like can't
Kendrick could ever replace Drake, ever, like ever.
Plus, he takes too many breaks.
Like, did y'all see Kawhi Leonard just got dismissed from Team USA?
Because Clippers felt like it wasn't his best interest to play in the Olympics
because he needs to, like, rehab for the next season.
Like, it was a whole statement.
And then, what was his name, Grant Hill or whatever?
Was in the interview?
And he basically, you know, supported that statement by basically saying, yeah,
it just wasn't a good fit like what like that was insane that's how kendrick is
kentry could come out give us a championship like performance and go away for four to five years
and then people say he he's gonna replace drake or he took out drake it's amen it's kind of like
the naz it's actually exactly like the naz and j z who says naz is a better rapper than jz
all time right you you'll be hard pressed to find uh rap fans that when they talk about the
top five rap artists they're going to have
gnauz at the top usually it's going to be j z um or a teupac or a biggie but rarely do you ever hear like j z
at number one so it's kind of the same situation with drake and kendrick
kendrick won a very minuscule a very minuscule bad a miniscule yeah kindrick won a very
minuscule battle when it comes to the grand scheme of things as far as the consumption of music
but as far as in the culture which is what he focused on which is why i'm glad he won something that
you know he just used for the whole battle he he won that so let's let's see what comes of that
like the biggest thing i got out of it and of course you know listening to different people um
the people at that west coast show do you think that kendrick would actually give them some
type of recognition on their own albums or for the own brand or on his own album like are we just
going to see the the schoolboy cues at the j rocks is that the only people that kendrick gives
verses to in the west coast i don't know it's just food for thought but um i'm tired of talking about
this you know as far as as drake and kendrick um it's a lot to get into and numbers is one of those
scenes to where currently to be objective.
Kendrick has more popular songs on the charts than Drake.
I think so basically Kendrick has the third and 14th most popular song in the world.
Drake doesn't have any tracks in the top.
Hold up.
Let me make sure.
Drake doesn't have any, um, what was that now?
already opened. Oh, actually, the Camilla Cabello track is going up. So that's interesting.
Actually, he has two tracks now. He has the 62nd and the 66 most popular track in the world.
And what I would suggest is just keep taking...
No, no, actually, I don't suggest you keep making music with Camilla Cabello.
no that's not it but take a break because obviously with Kendrick outselling you currently with
like his 2024 music people are more willing to listen to your entire discography compared to his
which is why you still have the most monthly listeners on spotify and as far as a streaming
platform you're the most streamed rapper surpassing m&M and the first streamed rapper surpassing m&M and the first
stream rapper to ever surpass 100 billion streams on Spotify.
So,
Kendrick having all of these 20,
24 statistical achievements over you,
it's just like back in,
when the damn come out,
it's back in 2017 when Kendrick put out damn and you put out more life.
Is that all over again?
So just chalk this year up to people acting like Kendrick
took you out while they were playing you behind closed doors.
So that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Drake and Kendrick?
And as far as the whole synopsis that I gave, the whole evaluation,
what is your biggest takeaway from it?
And what is your retort to what I just laid out?
