Starting point is 00:00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, this is the face of a man that's been fed up. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And the whole time, y'all probably didn't even know. That was KD until they showed them towards the end of the video on like 20 minutes left. But with that being said, let's get into this right here as, you know, that's KD, Drake. I don't think they show his face right there.
Starting point is 00:00:21 They show his face later. But when it comes into the release of cashed out featuring Yeat, it's very interesting how Yeat surprisingly had one of the better performing tracks offer for all your, uh, uh, for your dogs only. I forget what that was called. For all your dogs, who was the album called? All the album titles, uh, at this point, I'm trying to remember it. For all the dogs, this is what was.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Um, the specific track from Yeat, which was ID, G-A-F, but, you know, this PG podcast, so I can't tell you what that stands for. But first person shooter featuring J-Code, those was battling it out. you know besides from the track with sis on the rich baby daddy because of course um the the other track was scissor there was another track on here yeah slime you out with scissor that did phenomenal as far as when it first came out it did i think it debuted at number two and number one it didn't have as much longevity as i thought it would have but of course the rich baby daddy track made up for that now i say all that to say this as far as the track with yeat drake is seemingly trying to replicate
Starting point is 00:01:24 that type of success on the upcoming album Iceman as any track with Yeat seemingly is going to have the same type of metrics like he had with the IDGAF track so I don't know if it's going to perform the same because we're in a different era as far as the hip hop universe and when it comes to IDGAF it was very interesting and very surprising that it was even battling out battling it out with the analytic success of a first person shooter featuring j code because that track started one of the greatest rap beefs of all time or rap battles so as far as first person shooter and the analytics compared to idGAf yes first person shooter will have greater longevity because of its quality but idg a f at the time was the best successful was the most successful track offer that for all your
Starting point is 00:02:18 dog's album when it initially came out october 6 of 2023 and And going from that, getting into the October release date that Drake likes to stick with. If y'all think it's a coincidence that Taylor Swift said her album is coming out October, let me just tell y'all. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? It's crazy state of hip hop when Sabrina Carpenter just dropped.
Starting point is 00:02:40 She had $350,000 first week. Taylor Swift is about to come out with her album, The Life of a Showgirl, October 3rd, you know, right? You know, the first Thursday of October, right? She ain't wasting no time. hold up but that's the first yeah that's the first thursday of october actually it's a friday but you get to point like thursday at midnight so she's not wasting any time taking over that that october slide and i bet you that sabrina's going to easily run september for at least the next two weeks i mean she just did 350 000 first week sales and that's no small fee i think she
Starting point is 00:03:16 made it to number three as far as the top three biggest first week sales of 2025 i think the weekend has number two with his hurry up tomorrow album and then of course morgan walling who's been putting bta on the whole industry for the past nine months he currently still has well i don't think he still has the number one album but he had the number one first week sales debut currently you know his album been out for like eight nine i'll forget how long his album been out almost this whole year i feel like and it's still the third most play album in the world like that is insane i know that ain't who i think it is so anyways if you look at some sexy songs for you that came out february 14th but that doesn't count because of course his real album was for all your dogs the the real like
Starting point is 00:03:57 drake album solo Drake album and that came out October 6 of 2023 it's 2025 seemingly Drake was trying to replicate the October release and Taylor Swift took note of that and that is why when I talk about numbers he's doing this feature with we I'm not saying that ye is going to repeat what he did on Drake's last solo album as far as having one of the most successful tracks off of the project, but surely Drake is hoping so as Sabrina, Taylor Swift dropping around the same time he wants to drop Iceman, best believe he wants to drop Iceman soon. If he gets pushed back into November, December, that's going to be scary territory, especially for the marketing rollout when the Mariah Carey of the World Christmas songs start to percolate
Starting point is 00:04:45 on the charts. That's what you have to realize because a lot of people don't even acknowledge that. November, December, Christmas songs are going to take over the charts. I don't even care if it's at the beginning of November. Ladies and gentlemen, he better put the album out soon. So Drake's always going to be good, but of course, I think for maximum visibility, he should either release this month or I'm not even going to say next month because he doesn't want to be embarrassed by Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 00:05:14 If Sabrina just finished doing $350,000, Taylor Swift is doing at least $400. because I think I think even 400 is disrespectful let me see um as far as Taylor Swift's first week sales I didn't want to get into Taylor Swift uh conversation but this Yeat track is definitely all about analytics I don't think I'm I think he's a solid artist but I don't think Drake's looking at his quality and is like yeah I need to get him on on my album because of that I think he definitely looked at it sells from for all the dogs so um let's see oh my can this 1.5 that's actually insane so 1.5 700 1.5 looks like that was her last three albums let me see 24
Starting point is 00:06:01 okay okay this this is actually insane let me make sure the fact check this is how crazy these numbers aren't that's why i said 400 so disrespectful um so taylor swift had the torture post department i forget how much that did first week I'm trying to find it. So, here you go. Midnight, speak now. It's not up to date. I think this was up to date.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Okay. So let me see. Taylor Swift. Let me just put Poets first week. Let's do that. See if that pulls it up. So Taylor Swift ended up having,
Starting point is 00:06:56 it ended up spending 11 weeks at number one. And of course, I still have the number, of course not. The tortured poet's department debuted at number one on Billboard 200 with a whopping 2.6 million units first week. It earned more units than the top 100 albums in the U.S. this week combined by over 20%. Ladies and gentlemen, that's disgusting. You guys. See, that's the problem. So yeah, 2.6 million first week.
Starting point is 00:07:26 You just not competing with that in that entire month. So either you drop this month or you wait to 2026. Literally, those are the options. So with that being said, after the analytical crash course, because we had to talk about that, especially Weeat showing up in his live stream. That's the only reason he's on this album. Shout out to Heat, but, you know, we got to keep him eight more than 92. Let's get into the other, what the last track previewed, that's definitely before this one,
Starting point is 00:07:52 but I wanted to end up my Iceman coverage with this one. So now we're going to get to party next door. the preview that also happened is live stream but as for party next door's remix version of somebody loves me that of course drake is also on
