Starting point is 00:00:03 I think honestly, the future and Drake Beef probably started with the high quality collaborations from 21 Savage and Drake. Because if you think about it, outside of what a time to be alive, Drake and future has some of the greatest hip hop tracks together. As far as the track, what was the track? wait for you and then the track with I'm not forgetting the tracks oh life is good that's I was talking about all right so life is good into deep wait for you
Starting point is 00:00:48 Drake and Future has some high quality collaborations but there's one thing I think should be the general consensus at this point is that Drake and 21 Savage album her loss is much better. I mean, better, higher quality by a landslide compared to what a time to be alive. I don't think that's a hot take,
Starting point is 00:01:12 but hey, y'all let me know. So anyways, this track specifically came from the 100 gigs on your headtop. And basically, these 100 gigs consisted of a lot of behind-the-scenes footage of Drake making a lot of his classics, and it's so deep and enriched with content as far as Drake creating a hook for yay yikes that's in this iG account where all the content is is uh basically located as far as uh analytic dreams video
Starting point is 00:01:49 on Spotify if you want to see the IG account but basically it's plot twist but it's a bunch of t so i'm not going to count that out i think it's like four for plot and then like five for twist it's it's crazy so anyways um look that up if you want to but um yeah so that has all the content on there but as far as the specific tracks it's like new a new it's um this is one of them so it's up 21 savage young thug and the reason we can tell is new is because even though it did happen a while ago so it's not the new it may not be like oh this year they made it but dreg does say i can't sleep in night with thug at cob county corrections i think he did enough reflecting i think my brother learned his lesson i mean that's a very up-to-day but
Starting point is 00:02:32 bar if I do say so myself and then I do like when he said uh and just like the judge the hammers come out for objections I thought that was a clever bar but anyways um overall this track is fire I think Drake and 21 Savage you know I do call him savagely mid at times because I do not like his cadence and it's very formulaic but of course as a Drake fan a lot of people will point out the fact that Drake is very vocally limited. Let's just put it like that. It's not too many extra octaves that Drake can hit. His vocal range is limited, right?
Starting point is 00:03:13 So when it comes to 21 Savage, rapping in the same cadence that he always wraps him, it gets a little monotonous. With Drake, he switches it up. He goes to different genres. And even though he has a limited vocal range, he also shows a lot of promise in different genres to the point. point where it's not as much of a monotonous tone if that makes sense but for 21 savage i think the pairing with drake is is great because it's kind of the combination of styles it's like having shack but they're
Starting point is 00:03:45 also having a kobe to kick out to right it's somebody who is going to be doing one thing and very dominant at it but then you have somebody who can really go all over the floor and score from wherever it's a very Kobe and Shaq like dynamic with Drake and 21 Savage and I don't say that lightly like 21 Savage by himself I don't think it's the greatest of artists but his album this year is definitely one of the standouts of 24 and I mean I guess it's not saying too much because uh what have we really had as far as hip-hop albums that has impacted 24 besides Kanye's vultures that literally went number one as an indie artist Kanye was indie when he put out vultures and it's still one which is why he you know was talking out of MS but anyways um yeah so the reason
Starting point is 00:04:35 i say that is because i think honestly at the end of the day drake is at the point to where he's showing that his affinity for atlanta rappers is going to be never ending it's going to be non-stop drake i mean kendrick can say you go to Atlanta when you need to check balance all you want but guess what like drake said on one of his songs i forget but he basically said the too bad reality checks don't cover the balance due when it's time to recoup. One of the greatest bars in hip hop history. Y'all going to think I'm joking, but a lot of people be capping out here and not really living in reality.
Starting point is 00:05:12 So that's why I love that bar from Drake. So as far as reality checks, Drake is giving one by basically saying he's still in touch with the real Atlanta rappers. Like Young Thug, 21 Savage did not switch up on Drake. and they're heavy into the Atlanta culture. Yaddy didn't switch up on Drake and he's heavy into the Atlanta culture to the point where he said in some interview the Atlanta culture was better than like New York when it came to fashion.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Like he was like, oh, we're just the best fashion place ever. Like Atlanta runs fashion, right? He said that blasphemy and stuff. But anyways, so yeah, that's why I say that because Kendrick is just always going to poke fun at things that actually works for Drake. and I think him putting out a track with Young Thug and 21 Savage, where it's technically not out, but, you know, it's out to the internet. But as far as DSPs is not officially licensed under RIAA.
Starting point is 00:06:07 So I can't, no matter how many streams you play online, it's not going to be certified because it's not on DSPs. So anyways, track is fire. I'm going between this one and the track with Lotto is my favorite new track out of the 100 gigabyte drop. But as far as the overall studio and recording process, is we're about to get to that in a second. But I just want to give my thoughts on this specific track.
Starting point is 00:06:29 As far as Young Thug, I mean, he did his thing. He was on the course. Drake having a whole stanza talking about Young Thug just makes it even more impactful that he's actually on the track, given the course. So, yeah, with that being said, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about the track It's Up by Drake, Young Thug, and 21 Savage.
Starting point is 00:06:49 And as far as the 100-gibyte drop from the OVO camp, which newer track? is or has been your favorite
