Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, getting into the great Ed Scherrin. As if you don't know, we've covered this man several times on the podcast, and it's just because he's probably one of the more talented musician that we've seen in quite some time. Now, of course, with that out the way, my latest coverage of him as far as his year was Zizum and Sapphire. Now, hopefully I'm saying that right. I think is a Zazam? I don't know if it's like Shazam or is it's a Zizum. So that being said. The main thing I wanted to talk about was, of course, his latest track, a little more, which came out August 7th for people watching in the future.
Starting point is 00:00:40 And of course, his album play that is set to be released September 12, 2025. Now, of course, I did my handy-dandy journalistic due diligence looking up this man's numbers. And safe to say, this man put all the mathematical symbols you could find. and to one body of work and let's just say it's the 31st most play project in the world so honestly when i look at the plus minus equal division multiplication album literally it's the tour collection live it is uh it came out december 27th 2024 obviously it was a collection of all his older tracks 50 songs three hours and 43 minutes in length ladies and gentlemen that is very long you guys see that's the problem pause but anyways um
Starting point is 00:01:42 speaking of pause his album play makes me feel like he's about to go down the route of you know rewind fast forward pause you know stuff like that as far as his album play because it's just going off of him including every single mathematical symbol you could muster muster up into his body of work i believe him putting out an album title play right after this collection showcases what route he's about to go on as far as slow down fast forward things of that nature right um imagine his paul's album having ditty throughout it all my fault so with that being said um his album coming out september 12 2025 means that his rollout is about to kick out because of course september is just around the corner i know 2025 had somewhere to be because i swear just yesterday we were celebrating happy
Starting point is 00:02:31 new year so anyways ed sharon i think it's going to be putting out a phenomenal body of work but of course if you hear for the little more breakdown let's get into that right now as obviously there's a music video attached to it and then it's directed by emil neva i think this how you said opens with grint's character returning to his childhood home after serving time in prison for stalking person he was stalking was looking back over his or her shoulder saying to themselves every time they try to get some groceries at the local supermarket and they see somebody peeking around that aisle every time they try to go pick up little timmy from school and they realize that somebody waiting in the parking
Starting point is 00:03:19 line all right so y'all get the point so when it comes to the stalker right and it comes to the characters arc when it comes to the post credit scene as sharing took a lot of time and effort to put together this music video which you can actively see right now, analytic dreams video on Spotify. I mean, obviously it's not the entire music video. It's Ed Scheran, Instagram post, snippet, talking about the music video. But the main thing with a little more and Sapphire and the Zism is basically showcasing how
Starting point is 00:03:48 when you look at the overall rollout for this album, this album has been having this marketing rollout since. Actually, let me see when it originally came out. I want to say since April 4th. Was it April 4th? April 4th, April 3rd, either one of those. But it's been having a long run as far as leading up to the September body of work. And of course, with Ed Sharon's numbers, the way that people love his music, him putting out the tour collection with all the mathematical symbols showcases that now,
Starting point is 00:04:22 with that collection being the 31st most play album in the world, a lot of people are basically reminding. themselves why Ed Shearn is so beloved in the music industry, especially with his high quality work, especially with the way he puts words together over tracks. I mean, probably has some of the greatest tracks of all time, not even just like his genre in the past five, 10 years, no, like of all time. Like the one track that a lot of people play at their weddings, I forget what it's called. I think it's thinking out loud. I don't want to play it because obviously it's copyright. Maybe it's thinking out loud.
Starting point is 00:05:00 And then of course, shape of you, like, I mean, if I really got into my respect for Ed Shearn's discography, we would be here for days, literally. So giving an artist this type of compliment, I think is the highest I could ever say. Like, you know, a highest I could ever deliver as I believe Ed Shearn has made some of the greatest tracks of all time. I believe it's shape of you and thinking out loud. I think those are the tracks I'm thinking about the if it's not that track. I'm talking about the track that a lot of people play at the weddings. I know a lot of people probably already know what I'm talking about. But yeah, Ed Sheeran is a one of a kind artist and very much an outlier as far as the consistent level of quality that he keeps up year after year.
Starting point is 00:05:44 So that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about his latest track a little more? What do you think about the music video? And also, where you'll be listening to his album, play when he puts it out September 12th of this year.
