Track number six of variations, well, track number six of autumn variations, titled American Town,
produced by Aaron Desner.
So, of course, new album by Ed Sharon, Autumn Variations is out now on all DSPs, inspired by the changing seasons, hence the name.
And just like Ed Schern is accustomed to giving his fans, it basically,
and captivates his various life experiences.
But more importantly, this particular project captures his experiences during his previous autumn.
So basically, I would say autumn of 2022.
If that's, I think that's how it works.
Yeah.
So of 2022.
Basically, all you need to know.
And more importantly, what you need to know, especially if you're at your,
Sherin fan. This is Ed Sherin's first project being an independent act under his own label,
Gingerbread Man Records. Literally, that's what it's called. It is his own album or own major
label titled Gingerbread Man Records. So if you make music out there and you want to be
considered what are the acts under Gingerbread Man Records, then reach out.
to the Asian or something because that's a pretty fire name.
Not going to lie, there's a lot of names I come across.
It's pretty bad.
But that was that, that's one of them that's like, hey, whoever put that together,
they did their thing because gingerbread, of course, is a classic snack.
And then, man, records, I feel like it's just a great combination.
Pause if needed.
So anyways, it's not really too much to get into.
American Town is the track.
wanted to promote on playlist, which is why I'm reviewing this because I think it's very interesting
what Nat, well, he's independent now, so he's the one making these decisions. Obviously,
once you have a team and you've been in the business a little bit working in cooperation
with the major label, you kind of see how the game is ran. So, whenever you're making decisions
about what track should you pick from an album to put on a playlist is very important people
going to listen to the track and what you're hoping it does is entice them to listen to the entire
album they click shuffle on playlist because most of these people out here not trying to buy
premium if they land on your track you're trying to make such a finite impression that
they have no choice but to see where this music came
from eventually leading them to your album, eventually leading to more album sales, which is why people
love playlists in the first place. For me, I have not listened to the album yet, but I know just from
reports that it features a lot of his introspective thoughts. That may sound like a lot, but basically, it's
talking about his experiences from the previous autumn also it has some very very sensitive subjects
that he's touching on this album like marital issues with his wife personal experiences
in general personal experiences and romantic tracks of course because what is the ed shun album
without that romantic theme thrown in there so i would be led to
believe this would be a very introspective album for what i've researched but that is left to be seen
as you never know until you eventually or finally get into the project so anyways click my link to
my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you think about ed sharon releasing a new album
totally under his own label gingerbread man records and will you be giving it a listen
And if you have, what is your favorite track off of autumn variations?
