Now this is one of those type of tracks where at first I was going in thinking it was a single,
but then, as you can read about the title, it's a tribute to his late friend and SBTV founder,
Jamal Edwards.
And when I'm reading this story, it's very, I don't know, I don't know if heartbreaking
or heartwarming gets the right word as you never know how people grieve with a loss,
but people do it in unique ways
and for Ed Shearn
this is his way of remembering his friend
as the debut
of this tribute song
who died February 20th
of last year at age 31
so basically
this has been something he's been thinking about for a while
but now it's here with a video
along with the video performance
so if you go on YouTube you can type in
Ed Shearin F64
and it should pop up
but
what I'm basically
getting into is that this is a certified tribute track to his late friend to honor the
friendship that he had with him and then this is the person who helped launch edsharon's career
and he showed a lot of different quotes from jamaar edwards showcasing their bond and how he helped
edsharing get to where he was so this tribute track is
more of a learning experience for those who didn't know that Jamar Edwards has such an impact,
a positive impact on Ed's career.
In the video, Ed Sherin can be seen with a lot of candles.
It was filmed overnight at the empty stadium, at the empty Stanford Bridge Stadium,
the home of Chelsea FC.
I think that's a soccer team.
You know what I mean?
Hey, I don't know my soccer teams like that.
I'm pretty sure that's a soccer team.
football team or whichever however you call it but anyways uh edward's mother uh brenda edwards
oh i guess she was a star of quote loose women end quote talked about the song on good morning britain
this week okay she said quote and this is edgar edward's mother brenda edwis she said quote ed
sent me the final edit two day two days ago and i've kind of been in and
of crying ever since when Jamal passed he was literally at my house with me and
Tanisha for a whole week just looking after us man that's tough right there you never
know how people grieve and this is one of those type of ways where I feel like it
brings a lot of fulfillment for not only Ed Shearn but for the loved ones of
Jamal Edwards you know so um this whole tribute track and
just the actions before, during, and after this is very telling about Ed Sharon's character.
And I think it's one of those reasons why everybody who talks about Ed Sharon never has a
negative thing to say because he's just overall great dude.
So anyways, click my link to my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about Ed Shearons' tribute track to Jamal Edwards titled F-64?
and is it one of the best tribute tracks you've ever heard?
