After her 2024 project Hungover (and deluxe Still Hungover) and the 2× Platinum CMA multi-award-winning duet “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green, Langley solidifies her solo rise with this co-write featuring Miranda Lambert (on co-writing, background vocals, and co-production with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor).“Choosin’ Texas” delivers upbeat Southern grit, heartfelt themes of lost love to a “Texas woman,” and confident storytelling inspired by Lambert’s personal tales. Debuted live in February 2025 and performed at the 2025 CMA Awards, the track exploded organically through touring, fan engagement, TikTok/Shazam traction, and radio momentum—no major media syncs required.Chart dominance as of January 2026 includes: #1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs (first career No. 1), fastest solo female climb to Top 10 Country Airplay this decade (8 weeks, breaking records), #1 on UK Country Airplay for multiple weeks, #1 on Apple Music Country, and #1 Best Country Song of 2025 on Spotify/Billboard. It achieved Top 5 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 (dated Jan. 10, 2026), a rare feat for a solo female country artist this century (only the 12th since 2000), plus Top 5 on US Spotify all-genre streaming. Over 70+ million Spotify streams fuel its crossover success in a male-dominated format.Analytic Dreamz examines the song’s record-breaking radio impact, international reach, Miranda Lambert’s public praise, viral speculation (denied by Langley), and how it positions her as a culturally resonant, commercially powerhouse new country star entering 2026 with CRS New Faces spotlight and more momentum ahead.Join Analytic Dreamz for this no-fluff, data-driven deep dive into one of 2025-2026’s defining country anthems. Starting point is 00:00:03 Ladies and gentlemen, this particular artist we've gotten into in the past as far as July 12, 2024, but safe to say, I'm not going to say y'all let me down because, you know, it is my job to look at the entire music landscape. No, I'm just, I just want to have it heart to heart with them right now because why in the world did y'all not tell me that choosing Texas was this good? But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, 10, look. You know, as far as this particular track, it came out October. 17th 2025. You guys. Why didn't nobody tell me? But it's okay because of course in the year of 2026, safe to say after all the Christmas anthems was rinsed out and the regular music came back into play. Shoes in Texas is currently one of the most popular tracks in the world and even that's an understatement as it's sitting at number five as far as the most play track in the world.
Starting point is 00:01:03 And then that's not it, ladies and gentlemen. Now you look at Ella Langley's track, Don't Mind If I Do, which is the 24th most played track in the world. Starting point is 00:03:02 that choosing Texas was the undefiable, undeniable anthem by country connoisseurs. I would have looked at you and said, well, I guess Morgan Wallen doesn't exist. You guys. See, that's the problem. And that would have been me being ignorant, right? So now when you look at the album that came out 2024, but still has tracks from it going crazy on the charts to the point where now you're looking at choosing Texas, which this particular track choosing Texas that came out October let me see so choosing Texas came out October 17th
Starting point is 00:03:39 2025 still hungover came out November 1st 2024 so technically came out after but basically hungover is still doing phenomenal on the charts which basically lets you know that people are not only listening to Ella Langley they're going to be listening to Ella Langley for the foreseeable future because this is some longevity that definitely signifies a bull and bona fide hit so that being said also if you don't know ella langley i believe okay so somebody's i don't know why i thought she was going on a tour but um safe to say her music is doing phenomenal and to round it all up choosing texas is a career defining anthem for ella langley's her first number one record breaking radio anthem 50 plus million streams domestic and international dominance and
